  You can get compatible parts of the ASP from Toshiba (authorized service provider) in your country. Guys could order the necessary parts and replace it.

  You can follow the procedure below to change the Power Options.

  To replace the Toner Locks you removed the Main Drive Gear Assembly in order to reach the locks broken,

  Note: Make sure of course have a look to time before the GET it back, if not will give an error or color will not come.

• Laptop HP 15 t-r160: could not get the replacement for Hp 15 laptop cover... URGH!

  I'm repplace the rear/top hood for a 15 HP laptop, model number 15 t-r160. It is blue. The customer has dropped and damaged about everything on the left rear corner (hinge, lcd screen, corner covers...) and the upper rear cover. The part # on the broken lid is 760966-001. I tried to order the part from 2 different places on eBay and both times they sent me the worng a 775084-001. These 2 numbers appear as the same party on several lists, but they are different. 775084 001 is not for the LCD screw holes. 760966-001. I can't find a place that recognizes / acknowledges the difference short of opening the box and observing. HP support has been absolutely NO HELP. Anyone know where I can order part # 760966-001 and get 760966-001? Thanks in advance for the help!

  Just an update. A seller from eBay, turbofly626, actually took the time to seek the cover of exact part 760966-001, and they had 1 available. They are sending me. All other replacement covers for this laptop 15 HP are the alternative part # 775084-001. And yet once that one will not work due to not having the screw for the LCD screen holes. HP and other vendors of parts must get this right. I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but the model # of this Notebook of 15 special HP is HPt-r160. That's all! There is no NC, NA or SA at the end of the model number. What I found for the model r160 referred to one of the models in 3 sub (NC, NA or SA). Weird. Very frustrating!

• When portable computer boot I don't usually get no internet, "no internet Access.

  First it already happened in the past year last and December last year when my portable HARD drive was dying. After this, I restarted the laptop and then saw what I saw everyday, icon wireless with 5 bars. After browsing reddit and one game LoL I turned off the computer while I did some work around the House and when I turned on the laptop, the problem was back again. This time I tried to do what I did before but changed the duplex where it was originally. After Google search again I tried following an youtube video that helped me when I had this problem last year, go to services and stop and disable the "Network Location Awareness', who worked last year, but didn't this time. So after a few hours of frustration trying to find a solution I decided to reinstall my WLAN Drivers I had a repair dude gathered for my laptop after having replaced the dying HARD drive and backup of the data. (I have does not uninstall then install the drivers, installed the most common who was the same) After installing drivers and restarting, which seemed to work, and then I remember happy and navigation on reddit. Then I locked laptop lid to sleep and then watched a movie after I got the problem came back. I did all the previous things that helped me but not luck. So this morning I decided to see if it works and it does. Close the lid, comeback doesn't work. (There is no model, it's random and more a chance of him failing). So I backed up my important files on my external HD (wouldn't an HD dying again with no backup) then tried to see if I had internet in safe mode (made sure, that it is with networking), did not do anything, same problem. Then after to turn on and turn off the laptop, I get the same result. Turn off the laptop and decide to go to the Mall and buy food and when I get back the internet works. It seems that when I turn it on after a long time, it works.

  Download the fixed Home button.  Or let your battery draining so your phone turns off and then load.

• How to lock your laptop when the lid is closed.

  You are able to use the external monitor, but as you say you will not be able to load BIOS.

  The BIOS can be displayed on the primary monitor.

  switch cover on the X 220 and X 230 is triggered by a magnet. The laptop enter the BIOS menu, then use a magnet and see if that turns off the display. IF this is your lid switch is working properly and the problem you are experiencing is most likely software. If it isn't then it is broken, and you need to replace.

  Microsoft will never include the option 'lock the computer' as an action to close the cover in their operating systems?   1) go to regedit > HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SessionManager\Power
  (2) right click > new > DWORD (32-bit)
  (3) change the name to AwayModeEnabled
  (4) select > right click > change the value (hexadecimal) 1
  5) go to the Power Options settings page and change the action close the lid to sleep.
