T61 - default NVIDIA or not...?

Hello

It seems my T61 (7664-1GG, SN L3E3227) 3 years and 9 months old... no guarantee more... has a big problem.

In the first display was flickering and seconds later frozen... After a reboot, it works very well for 2 days. But all of a sudden the same problems. Now I'm looking for a case of this problem. Grafic ship defect or not?

I can boot in XP only and more with a connected external screen saving mode and with or without using my replicator. Thus, its clear that replicator is OK.

The screen displays green vertical stripes. When starting I White Navy square, then the vertical stripes and so on.

Is running in economy mode, I see vertical green stripes, but I see enough work save mode.

My questions:

(1) is the default for nvidia ship (because I can work with strips of economy mode)

(2) another idea which could derfect instead of nvidia?

(3) where I can findout part numbers for motherboeard, better with other graficship on board?

(4) cost of a (Euro) motherboerad?

(5) where can I find a description of how to change a motherboard...

Concerning

Hans

I would say that you do not have a failure of nVidia.

    G ' Day,.

Although Windows 7 works and looks good, there is a major problem which threatens to derail the whole experience for me.

Several times a day, the default gateway becomes unavailable, which means that the PC running Windows 7 loses internet connectivity. At the same time, other PC, running Vista, continue to operate normally. It is a PC with a WiFi connection and another that is normally connected.

  • Losing Internet connection because of the default gateway is not available.

I keep losing internet connection and when I run the troubleshooter, it comes up saying "the default gateway is not available". I have an HP with Intel dv6985se. I was advised to do the following:
I had the same problems of chance which I fixed it by simple disabling 'SLEEP ON DISCONNECT' SideScalng disconnect

1 Access Device Manager (Control Panel > system and security > system > Device Manager)
    2. expand the network adapters
    3. Select the adapter that you are using (if more than 1 Repeat step 4 to 8 for each adapter)
    4. right click and select Properties
    5 click Advanced
    6. If you have installed Nvidia Ethernet configuration click the button
    7. scroll to the bottom of the list and disable the device sleep on disconnection and receive Side Scaling
    8. save the settings

I appreciate this help info but none of this applies to my computer has. In my device under 'Network adapters' Manager, I do not have Nvidia, Asus and AMD, which is listed under my network cards is "Intel Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN" and "Realtek RTL8101E Family PCI - E Fast Ethernet NIC (NDIS 6.20)".

The help that I've provided says disabling "Sleep on Disconnect" and "Receive Side Scaling"... or those who are in one of my "adapter properties tab advanced options" for both my Intel and Realtek... no where does say anything about sleep on disconnect or side scaling.

I was online with HP cat many times and Ive tried the options they have provided that is basically what I've found here but nothing has worked so far! My computer is 1 1/2 old and is preinstalled with Vista 64-bit. Recently, I have completely restored my computer with Windows 7 64 bit, and ever since then, I can't download anything or talk to HP or any kind of help because I lose the connection. Could someone please help me solve this problem... to be frank and honest he pisses me off beyond words that I never had this problem when I'm on Vista!

I don't know what else I can provide to better help me to solve this problem, but if anyone would like more information on what programs etc, my computer has let me know and I will provide the information. Below, I'm pasting the info I received through my history of troubleshooting like a Notepad of paper Network Diagnostic and Route.Print document.

  • Default account in notes

I can't change the default account in notes on my generation 4th IPAD since the 10.0.1 day how can I fix to another account that I use for notes. Is there to solve this problem. The default account is defined on my IPad so it is gray and it cannot be changed.

    Thank you

    Walter

Hello. In settings > note, you have enabled all accounts for notes? If there is no other account, you will not be able to change the default value.

  • Reset the default value does not

'Reset to the default value' does not work for my ListBox multicolumn, but it works for my string flags.  Someone at - he never encountered this before?

I tried to remove all the elements and setting "default value to', but after another execution of the program, still not reset to nothing.  I have to do it programmatically in my code, and I can't do using the server reference VI Reset at the same time.  I have to define arrays of strings individually to null.

I use a large number of nodes of property in my loop of consumer to read/write the values in the front panel.  Not sure if this is related.

    Thank you.

This occurs because the value of a multicolumn listbox is a digital scalar or table (depending on the selection mode of the control) Express which line or the currently selected cell.

"Reset to default" only resets the values and no other properties. In this case, it is the property of ref that hosts that we consider intuitively the value of listbox mc, but it's not.

Unlike Windows XP & Vista, Windows 7 does not include a default email Client. [What were thinking?]

You will need to install a (e.g. MS Outlook;) Windows Live Mail; Thunderbird) , and then set it as a default for mail in CUSTOM (<>) article in Set Program Access and defaults of the computer , then restart your computer before any function send to or MailTo will become available.

  • A default gateway is not available.

I use a netbook Acer Aspire One Windows 7 Starter - running for now; I anticipate uprade - and a Atheros AR5B93 wireless card. Unfortunately, I am often unable to access the internet. b. right click on Local area connection and click Properties.

    c. Double click Protocol Internet Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and assign the IP address manually.
Example: Old Ip address is 192.168.0.1
    Replace the IP 192.168.0.50

    d. let the subnet mask and default gateway are the same.
    Subnet mask = 255.255.255.0
Gateway by default, would usually 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1

    e. click apply and Ok and restart the computer and check if it helps to solve the problem.

  • A default gateway is not available: Wi-wired connections and has stopped working on my PC

    Hi all.

Connections Wi-wired and on my PC have stopped working all of a sudden. I tried to restore my system to an older image, and he began to work for a while. He then stopped working again after a few hours, when I apply my updates of windows and other restorations (to the same restore point) didn't help. Dell Inspiron 7420, unique language of Windows 8

    Hi Amos,.

I understand that your WiFi connection fails.
According to the guidelines of the error (the default gateway is not available), there is a problem with the gateway IP address that does not connect to the internet.

I would be grateful if you could answer the following questions:

    1. did you of recent changes made to your computer (installation of updates, device drivers)?

    2. which antivirus app do you use?

What are the troubleshooting steps you have tried?

Here are a few troubleshooting steps that you can try to solve this problem.

Method 1: Manually assign the IP address and the default gateway and check if it works very well. Before you assign manually the IP address and the gateway by default, do
a note of the IP address of the computer. To do this open command prompt, type ipconfig and press to enter. This displays the IP address, make a note of it.

To manually assign the IP address and default gateway, follow these steps:
    a. in the system, right click on network icon tray. Choose the open network and sharing.

    b. click on change adapter settings

    c. right-click on the card's wireless connection and click on properties.

    d. Double click on Internet Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) Protocol and assign the IP address manually.
Example: Old Ip address is 192.168.0.1
    Replace the IP 192.168.0.50
    e. leave the subnet mask and default gateway are the same.
    Subnet mask = 255.255.255.0
Gateway by default, would usually 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1
    f. click apply then click Ok and restart the computer and check if it helps to solve the problem.

If the method above does not work, proceed to the next method.

Method 2: I suggest you try the steps from the link given below:
