• No 'sharpness' in Photo editing?

  In iPhoto, there was an editing tool called 'Sharpness', under the heading 'adjust '.  Almost all of the editing I do is on my photos very old, my "favorite" big project, and very often a small adjustment with the tool 'sharpness' final Assembly, I did and it made a world of difference.  I really, really need it.  I can't find any setting sharpness in the picture - miss me something?  Or I will have to make this edition in iPhoto and then export to the desktop and then import them to Photo?

• Set a style different cases for the same placeholder (data fusion) used two times in the same text

  Hello.

  I have a document with some parties updated with the fusion of data (via placeholders). Is it possible to set a style of different cases for the same placeholder in the same text. See the example:

  Mike runs its < < vehicule_placeholder > > in the city. But its < < VEHICULE_PLACEHOLDER > > is meant to be shared.

  If the value of this placeholder in the file merger is 'bike', the sentence should be:

  Mike runs his bike in the city. But his BIKE is meant to be shared.

  Is this possible? How?

  You can do it. A character style for this configuration placeholder text, set in all caps.

• The best way to set default styles in the libraries of widget for use by the public?

  I am putting together a code to go with my blog, and it will include a custom component. I would like to than the default component to use a style that I set, but I also want the user to be able to replace it easily. Anyone have any suggestions on the best way to do it?

Ideally the end-user would not do that. So, what is the best practice? Should I create a skin for my component and then set the style in my code? Should I set a basic style sheet that somehow always is imported, etc.?

• Set a style to change the dimension - CS4

  Google and Adobe research I've done, it seems like InDesign CS4 doesn't allows you to change the dimensions of the rectangle graphic container by setting a style. But I think there are some gurus ID that could find a workaround?

  I have great graphics of the object embedded in a document of pg 30 and would REALLY like to apply a style to them that would change the width of the boxes containing without having to do each one individually.

  Is it possible to do?

  No style cannot adjust the width of an image.

  But you can adjust the width of the frame 1 - tell to do you a 150 mm wide frame

  Select another frame, then go to object > transform again > transform again (or simply press CTRL ALT 4)

  The selected object will then also this width.

  If you select a lot of elements and you want all that length and then use the command "Sequence of new processing individually."

• Set multiple styles to a single style of HR to the word import

  Hi all

  Used to use HR for awhile on version 8. Now back to use it again with 2015 but I am a little rusty.

  I've set up my new project, created my CSS how I want just that it with styles that i've got. My Word doc has several styles that I want to do a unique style in HR. for example, I have 3 'versions' of a normal style I want for any card to one style of HR.

  Not sure if this is possible, or if I have to clean the entire Word file instead of all these variations of style. The ability to select a CSS for Style mapping during execution of the word import is always grayed out so I can't select my own CSS here, only the RHStyleMapping.css.

  Ideas? Or do I have to spend some time cleaning up Word documents?

  You can select the style sheet in the project settings dialog box. In RH11 is file > project settings, but I do not know how to access in RH2015. I hope the RH11 details to give you enough to know where to look.

  TitledPane and TabPane is skinnable. But the tab is not customizable. The tab background is white.
  What is the best way to set the same default background as in TitledPane?

  The tab header is a label, so you can set the label to show only this graphic is (which can be any node) and make the graphic a TitledPane.

  Or you can use CSS rather than FXML style controls.
  You don't need to change the skin of the tab of the default Style unless you want to do something radical enough.

  Using the information below you might be able to create a style sheet for the tabs get the desired effect.

• How to determine or change the DPI setting on a photo?

  Our son was killed while serving in Iraq.  A group of history approached us, as well as other families, for pictures of our son to use in a documentary of the battle.  They asked for the photos in "600 dpi.  I have not tried something like that for several years has so much changed and I'm lost.  I'm 10.11.2 on an iMac OS, and as far as I know, all software is aware of upgrades.  All my photos are saved on an external hard drive, but I want to be sure to preserve the originals without any damage.  Online research just confused issues.  I used Apple/Mac since the Apple IIe, so I know that it shouldn't be hard to do.

• Setting CSS styles using evaluateJavaScript in Web mode

  I have a WebView that loads html content. I would like to have the ability to define and modify elements width and height by using the evaluateJavaScript method. Unfortunately, when I try to run this javascript nothing visible happens:

  If I load the same html document in the BB10 browser and web Inspector allows you to run the JS, I immediately see the div change its width.

  The difference in behavior between webinspector evaluateJavaScript is curious.

  Exactly how you run this script?... maybe there is something wrong with the syntax that you use?... you can post all of the sample?

• 8 screen saver Windows set to my photos but blank screen start

  screen of Windows 8 on my photos but white screen saver starts even if I take it back photos that this white screen takes a long time (more than a minute sometimes stays on the white screen) 1 min before my departure from photos, and I want to get rid of this white screen.   I understand that the screen becomes black, before it turns into screen saver pictures. This could be due to the power settings.

  I would ask you to follow the methods and check if these methods help you.

  Method 1: troubleshooting to be able to run and check if this help.

  a. press Windows + W on the keyboard.

  b. type Troubleshooting in the "search" tab and press enter.

  c. click show all on the left panel.

  d. click Power, will new popup window.

  e. follow the instructions on the screen.

  Method 2: change disable it to neverdisplay option.

  a. press Windows + W on the start screen.

  b. type Power.

  c. click change energy saving settings.

  d. check the options balanced (recommended).

  e. click on change Plan settings.

  f. change disable it in the to never display option drop down.

• How to set text and photo cell sizes and their positions in ledger?

  I'm migrating from Aperture to Lightroom for creating book.  In Aperture, I can add, size and position the text and photo boxes to go.  How does this in Lightroom?

  "at will" is not possible in the book LR module.

  There are many models of pages (~ 180) that you can choose from.

  The photo 'Cells' on the page templates can be resized, but only smaller, by changing the cell "Padding".

  For "at will" design of page (for example, collage, borders fantasies, etc.) you will need create the page images in Photoshop or the LR print module and use as images 'full page' in the book.

• Lightroom 3 setting of the photos when importing

  Hi all

  I use LR for a while, and I thought I was pretty familiar with it, but one thing I've never been able to fix is import settings. Minor changes are made to the import (import DNG from a CR2 file). The only I can say have changed are the White Balance [hue:-7], light + [50] and the contrast + [25].

  Is this normal? I need to create a preset that has solved nothing and use it when I import?

  Here is a screenshot of two photos; the one on the left has already been 'adjusted' by Lightroom, the right one does not (where three little points in the upper right corner). I prefer much the appearance not adjusted to the higher contrast, saturated look.

  I'm shooting with a Canon Mark II, and I tried all combinations of settings in the import preferences box.

  This should be enough to get you started. If you like certain aspects, but not others, you can change using the DNG Profile Editor (it's not just for DNG).
