t9flex keyboard paralyzed after the OTA

Hello

There is a problem with the keyboard t9flex after OTA to Android 4.

Honeycomb, I got English as the language of the system, and has helped in Hebrew and English t9flex.

Now t9flex works only with the language of the system, so I could write in English only (or swithch in Hebrew as sys.lang. and be able to write - in Hebrew only).

If the option of bilingual inking is lost, and it's rather sad regression for me, as I use it quite frequently.

Are there plans to fix?

No, you can have several layouts on the FlexT9 keyboard if you wish. While the implementation of input methods press the "FlexT9_OEM Text Input" option for a second or two and you will be able to choose different layouts.

    Hi wsthong,

I understand that you have a problem with your keyboard doesn't work does not correctly after an update. Let's see if we can understand what is happening.

The first thing that comes to mind is that it could be interference from other sources that you might not be aware of, things like the microwave ovens and cordless phone. Take a look at the article below for more information on this to see if it solves your problem.

Satellite L500, Windows 7, keyboard become idle after waking up from his sleep. Restarting solves the problem.

    Help would be welcome please!

    Hey William,

That s odd, but in my opinion you should try a BIOS update. BIOS version latest for your laptop, you can download from the Toshiba page:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com > support & downloads > download drivers

But let me give you a little advice: update of the BIOS is always a bit risky so make sure that you are logged on as administrator. In addition, extract all the files from zip archive and close all programs running (also AntiVirus).

By the way: you use pre-installed Windows 7 in Toshiba or did you do your own installation of Windows?

  • Things wired keyboard entries after the virus

Some don t work on my keyboard letters. I got a virus a while ago but I deleted it, or so I thought.

I ran several security scans and no virus shows, but I find myself with a keyboard that makes weird stuff. The letter 'i' to do this, the letter 'k' logs me off weird thing is another comma and the arrow keys to display search boxes. Can I use the letters i and k if I press "F2" at the same time.

It makes me crazy. I put t know why it's happening or how to put right.

    Can someone help me please?

    Hello!

Are you sure, that you have removed the virus?

For a long time, I had a virus too. I thought that it was removed by security software, but he was still on the phone. He was not the same question (I had a slow internet connection).
I've tried everything, and in the SafeMode but I too t couldn't remove the virus.

The solution was I had to reinstall Windows and formatted the HARD drive.

When you have a Toshiba Recovery disk, reinstall Windows. It takes only a few minutes and all the drivers and tools will be installed also.
But first backup your data, the HARD drive will be formatted.

    Give me reason what happened.

Mi IMac is a 27-inch, late 2013, 3.4 GHz Intel Core i5, and use a Wacom Intuos Pro.

Could possibly be interfering with the entry Wacom drivers.

Start safe mode and see if there are still have the problem there. Safe mode is slow and some things do not work, but it prevents some third-party boot loading software. If your keyboard works properly in Mode without fail, this would imply that some third-party software is causing the problem. If so, check the updates.

It also takes more time to start because the BONE is clean some system caches that can also help.

    Hello

I bought a toshiba Satellite C850-1cp and I had some problem (I dropped a coffee on the keyboard)
so I brought the mobile for technical support and I decided to change the native keyboard (FR) with an Italian keyboard, and now I have the problem with the usb port: a mouse or other usb devices are not recognized.

One of my friends told me to restore win 8 unsuccessufully because the function keys do not work...
    Please help me

    > now, I have the problem with the usb port: a mouse or other usb devices are not recognized.

What exactly do you have after the replacement of keyboard?
Have you installed new system or what?
The USB ports worked before the replacement of keyboard?

    Satellite C850-1cp was pre-installed with Win 8 64 bit.
Usually, you should be able to load the original image.
Switch on and press F12. Now you should see recovery of HARD drive option.

The touch pad, touch screen and a usb keyboard immediately all work.

They work on the load of the plant, but these machines were photographed with Windows Enterprise 8.1 x 64 using Configuration Manager 2012. • After the recovery with CD Satellite C660-1FE keyboard does NOT work

    Hello

A month ago I bought a Toshiba C660-1FE. After three weeks my HD broke down. I bought a new HD from Western Digital and I replaced the broken HD. I did a recovery of my HD image, so I had to order the recovery disks of the product on the Toshiba site (3 disks, which drive 1 and 3 were the only required for installation).

Now I have the problem that my laptop keyboard doesn't work. I am currently using a USB keyboard and a mouse to replace my keyboard and the touchpad of the notebook.

The keyboard of the laptop works fine in the BIOS. Therefore, I hope that it's just a driver issue.

    I have:

tried to find and install a lot of pilots since the toshiba site, no results.
tried to change settings in the bios (usb enabled).
tried to fix the problem by reinstalling all of the computer repeatedly.

The keyboard seems to work until windows loads. When the system is switched on I can press caps lock and num lock and the green lights will turn on. All this stops working once windows starts is displayed.

Perhaps another problem in Device Manager: under the graphics card, 2 subcategories have exclamation points: it says Mobile Intel (r) 4 series express chipset family twice! I can't seem to fix these with the drivers I can find either. When I check the settings I have this message (google translate since it is in Dutch):

+ Digital signature for the drivers for this device is necessary, cannot be verified. Possible after a recent hardware or software change a file that is installed signed incorrectly or damaged, or malicious software is installed from an unknown source. (Code 52) +.

+ You must restart the computer for this change to take effect. + (obviously I've tried that too)

Can someone give me it please help? I'm at the end of my intelligence.

    Sincerely,

    Daniel

    Hello

Keyboard works in the BIOS, it means that the keyboard material should be ok and the connection between the keyboard and the motherboard is established.

So, what could be bad? Keyboard driver?
Hmm, the keyboard driver is part of the Windows operating system and is installed automatically during the installation of the OS
    I would recommend following:
Go to Device Manager and remove the keyboard point.
You should see something like PS/2 standard keyboard
If you see a red x next to this unit, then it means that the keyboard is disabled.
Usually, you should be able to activate this again (in Device Manager).
If there is no Red Cross, so I you would recommend the deletion of this keyboard in the Manager list of devices, then reboot the laptop. Usually, the operating system should recognize the device automatically deleted and should install the driver too.

    Select this check box.

By the way: it is possible that you received a recovery disk wrong which could explain the problems after the recovery procedure

    Hello m875,.

    What 'Tablet' do you use?

I improved my tablet of 8 flow and had no problems.

If you go to settings > devices > typing, you can enable and disable certain functions of touchpad.

The last two options on the bottom are disabled by default. Can you turn those on to see if this gives you what you need?

(Automatically display the touch keyboard in glass mode apps...)

Once, when I type a mailbox type, the keyboard will appear.

Does that help? Let me know.

  • Volume controls on the keyboard after the upgrade to Windows 8

I have a Touchsmart 520-1070 with the mouse and keyboard without wire factory.  After the upgrade to WIndows 8, the volume controls no longer work.  I tried the Recovery Manager to reinstall the keyboard drivers, but there is no driver keyboard under hardware drivers.

In the following device manager are listed under keyboards:

    HID keyboard device

    Keyboard 109 MCIR Microsoft eHome

    Keyboard MCIR Microsoft eHome

Microsoft eHome key remove control Keayboard

    PS/2 standard keyboard

Any report that they are installed and are working correctly and that the drivers are up to date.

Has anyone else seen or solved this problem with a Touchsmart computer?

The instructions below were provided by HP support.  This has restored the function on the keyboard volume controls.  The referenced below drivers are drivers IDT high definition Audio Device.  I am not sure that it was necessary to reinstall the audio drivers.  It can only had to remove the USB dongle and back to restore the functionality of the button.  Note: the USB dongle is located behind the VESA Panel to the back of the PC.  No tools are required and the dongle can be removed and replaced without shutting down the PC.  VESA panel removal requires a bit of a steady hand, pulling the lip which is close to the connections on the rear panel.

    Instructions received from HP:

Please go to the following link and check the "return of the system", article #7 is the USB dongle:

After you have reinstalled the receiver, please download and install the following driver:

If I were you, I would not go to all languages. You can get all the
These special letters on the English keyboard with the help of a third party
program. I use a program background small freeware called AllChars.
This allows me (in all applications, type many common special characters
(many of them are used in other languages) by pressing the key ctrl
followed by a combination of two-character mnemonics.

For example, for n the two characters are ~ and n. "C is for c, and, for u, you and.
