Wireless keyboard connection after the update of El Capitan

Hello

My wireless keyboard freeze constantly or delayed response of the keys after waking from sleep.

I never had this problem before the update. And it happened for a while.

I have tried resetting SMC and have test the AHT but still does not solve the problem.

Users there had the same problem?

Hi wsthong,

I understand that you have a problem with your keyboard doesn't work does not correctly after an update. Let's see if we can understand what is happening.

The first thing that comes to mind is that it could be interference from other sources that you might not be aware of, things like the microwave ovens and cordless phone. Take a look at the article below for more information on this to see if it solves your problem.

  • After the update to El Capitan 10.11.6 I'm more able to use Excel

I've updated a Mac Air to version 10.11.6. After the upgrade I'm more able to delete rows in Excel. The error is "Alert not enough memory" file is only 4.7 MB and air shows that I have 1 GB free memory. Is this a bug, and if so is there a work around available? I came to a standstill. worked quite happily on the sheet before the upgrade

Try to reinstall the update by using this file: Download OS X El Capitan 10.11.6 Combo Update. It can solve the problem, but if it is not the case, then you must reinstall OS X. It is not a bug in Excel because I did not have such a problem arise on my system. However, an alert memory you reported is an OS X error alert that you have not enough memory to continue. Quit all other open applications to free up more memory. See if that helps. Also make sure that report is not disk space.

  • Two "photo library" after the update to El Capitan

    Hello

I found two "photo library" file in ~ / images /, one with the old icon names "iPhoto Library", the other with a new icon of Capitan, called "photo library".

Created and last updated date match each other.

I guess that El Capitan duplicate my library during installation. I'm a little surprise to bite, it has not removed the old...

These files are huge: is it safe to delete the old one?

    Thank you

These files are huge: is it safe to delete the old one?

Libraries to think big, but they share the storage for images and use less than the total size of the disk storage, see this support document:

Photos saves disk space to share images with your iPhoto or Aperture - Apple Support libraries

and also: Six colors: the (hard) link between iPhoto and photo

If you delete the old iPhoto library, you won't win a lot of rear storage. It is save to remove the iPhoto library, but I wanted to wait burn bridges.  Wait, are you sure that the migration went well and no pictures are missing.

In addition, you may need to complete your projects in iPhoto, the projects do not migrate. How many Photos handles content and metadata for iPhoto and Aperture - Apple Support

And if you notice, that you do not like the pictures and want to return to iPhoto, you'll need your old library.

Try resetting your device. This will not erase your data stored on that device.

    • Press and hold the sleep/wake button
    • Press and hold the Home button
    • Press and hold both buttons until the display turns off and on again with the Apple logo on the subject.

Alternatively, you can go to settings - general - reset - Reset all settings

If that doesn't work, restore your device to factory settings. Please note that this will delete the data on your device.

  • Major problems after the update to 10.11.2

    Hello

I have a 2009 MacBook pro environment. I'vewalkways updated to the latest osx and have never had any problems. Since the update to El Capitan my computer worked really slow. I deleted all the old files, uninstalled I don't use and move all the files on a hard drive current of the program. With the first update to El Capitan, it would take 10 minutes to activate and load up, slow but manageable.

Since the 10.11.2, update I have been practically impossible to use my computer at all. Now, it takes 25 minutes to activate and load up. Once its loading I can barely click an icon before her color of the wheels. It will charge finally something at the end of 5 minutes, but basically the computer is useless.

IM wondering if anyone else has had similar with El Capitan and the problems that people would be advice to me. I plan to downgrade to Yosemite, as I had no problem then, but I've never done anything like this before, and I'm worried it will more mess my computer and then I will have no computer at all? I need to create a USB key with Yosemite on and then erase the Mac HD before reinstalling with Yosemite. I am naturally cautious but want to do what's best for my computer working again.

Or would it be best to reinstall El Capitan and hope this sorts the problem?

    Thanks in advance

Try these in order to test your system after each see if it is back to normal:

    1. a. reset the PRAM and NVRAM on your Mac.

    b. Macs with Intel processors: reset of the controller (SMC) system management

    2. restart the computer in Safe Mode, and then restart again, normally. If this does not help, then:

HD recovery start: restart the computer and after the buzzer, press on and press and hold the

COMMAND and R keys until it appears the Utilities menu screen.

3 fix the hard disk and permissions: select startup drive in the Utilities menu utility. Fix the hard drive and the permissions as follows.

When the recovery menu appears, select disk utility and press the continue button. After loading disk utility select it

back from Macintosh HD entry of the list on the left.  Click first aid button in the toolbar. Wait for the operation

ends, then quit disk utility and back to the main menu.

4 reinstall OS X: restart from HD recovery Select reinstall OS X from the Utilities menu, then click on the continue button.

Note : You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest to use Ethernet if possible because it's three times faster than wireless.

Although this will help, but I have also reported this problem, like many other people:
