• Satellite Pro 6100: cursor moves out of control on the screen

  I'm seriously going crazy right about now... my problem is the following:

  I have a Toshiba Satellite Pro 6100, Windows XP Professional with SP2, memory: 512 MB.

  About two weeks ago my cursor began to move up and down whenever I pressed the space bar. It has gotten worse since. My cursor moves out of control across the screen (there are usually in the upper right or lower left) and I can not recover. I know for a fact that it has nothing to do with my external mouse (optical), because this problem also occurs when I use my pointing device. Even in safe mode.

  The thing I've tried:
  Ran Spybot: Search and Destroy
  Ran Adaware
  Xoftspy RAN
  A ran Symantic Antivirus 10 (complete analysis of the system in safe mode)
  New keyboard
  New motherboard

  Nothing helps. I'm this close to format my pc. Does anyone have a suggestion of what to do?

  I put t he understand. You have changed the keyboard and the motherboard, but you did not recover the OS with the Toshiba Recovery CD.
  The first procedure that you should do is the new installation of the OS before you change or replace anything on the laptop.

  Unfortunately, it is not easy to say why it occurs. A friend of mine has a similar problem with the cursor. The cursor has jumped on the screen and it was not possible to open applications. It has (or service) resolved with the replacement of keyboard.

  If the new installation OS doesn't fix this strange cursor, so I recommend you contact Toshiba.

  Can you helpme to solve my question about the connection in the tab control? So basically I have two pages in a tab control, page 1 contains, log in as user name, password, and login button and second page is nothing. After the user has entered the correct user name and password in the form of a string, page 1 will be disabled and grayed out and automatically will be on page 2? I also download the vi that I created and please correct me if I have a problem with my vi.

  Please help me with this ASAP, because I have assignment based on the view of any customer lab server.

  Hi, I'm kinda a n00b.

  I have 10 tables of data and I want to draw these 10 berries on 10 separate charts.  I don't want to clutter my screen so I made a tab control, with a tab for the path of each data table.  But I don't want to trace all at the same time, I want that each parcel having its own button "trace data" so that the user can customize the trace for each of these options.

  I could do with 10 pieces of code with 10 different buttons, but as I said I hate the mess, so I prefer to put all this into a business structure by which according to any tab the user has selected, when they press one 'plot data', labview gets data appropriate and plots as a result.

  Now, I know that the tabs are indexed and I can return at any time to any page given by using the property Node--> Pages, but I need a way to retrieve the index of the currently selected page.  Once I have that, I know how to do the rest.

  Is this possible?

  It is exactly what it seems that there is a terminal on the schema that represents the tab. On the front panel, right click and select 'Find the Terminal'.

  In my front, I have a tabs containg control 6 with waveform graph, I have a graphic button to copy on the façade that exports waveform image. My requirement is that I want to export the image of the tab currently open with waveform graph. Image export is carried out in a separate vi, so my only option is to move the reference of the tab control in that vi. I thought to use a structure of housing with each each page of the tab control to process the files. Does anyone have an idea how do business structure according to manage each page tab control?

  
  

• Tab control acts like it is off but no

  I have a tab control that has ceased to operate at run time. It acts like it is off when turned on. At the time of editing, I am able to click on the tabs and they change visually. When I run it, by clicking on the tabs does not change tabs.   I reduced the vi to a simple loop with a delay of 200ms and the tab, with nothing else. The controls on the tab is the only thing in vi.  I made sure that the tab is enabled in the Properties dialog box. I noticed a strange thing: the Navigation tab button (in properties), it is all grayed out.  Once again, the control tab in in fact active, but it behaves as if it was not. I tried to recompile. Is there another setting? Why key naviation is grayed out? I'm using LabVIEW 2015.  Thank you!

• Is there a way to detect the mouse during the event for the controls within a tab control?

  I need to change the mouse pointer when it moves on controls that are found in the tabs.

  Now when the mouse passes over the tab, LABVIEW does not detect the saperately of controls for the mouse over event.

  Your problem is with the Panel.Controls [] property. It does not return the controls that are inside containers (tables, tabs, groups) and returns only the container itself. As illustrated by Sam, if you want the references to the controls in the tab, you must get the references to the pages and get the controls on each page and add them to your original table and do this recursively.

  You can either write a VI to do this (or search for it. There was posted here screw that analyzes recursively the FP for all control references) or everything just statically for this control a tab and move. There is also a VI delivered with LV that can help you with this, but I suggest that you not use, because it will be difficult to operate if you generate an EXE file.

  And I also recommend the Tool of Capture of Code.

• typedef enum typedef to the tab control

  I have a typedef enum that defines that the DUT is for my automated test device. This enumeration is used everywhere in my code to determine which tests to run and how to interpret the results, etc. I also have a (much indicator tab to be precise) typedef tab control that has a page for each of the ESA with various indicators for each test that will be carried out on it must HAVE specific.

  I would use the typedef enum to select which page of the tab indicator to display. I am able to do it with brute force just a U32 converter like this:

  Why not write a little VI with Enum entry and exit of the tab? It should be just a case internally structure. You can do the small icon so it does not much more space than the U32 conversion.

  My goal is more

  When I press the tab A tab control test, the B tab should disepear in the test tab control and only the tab should be visible in the control tab of test2 (not grayed out). The same thing can happen when B are pressed, wil say will be visible only.

  is it possible to resize controls on a tab that is attached to a separator when you use the separator ('sizes splitter control' is selected).

  Splitter resizes only tabs itself, not the tab controls. Some controls to the tab, for example, disappear when splitter reduce the tab.

  A way to do would be to add a separator hidden inside the tab of the Panel to resize, and then set the separator all the controls inside the tab you want to also move or size. Then, when the tab is resized as a result of the displacement of the original separator, you can take this event as a reminder of the tab panel and respond by moving the splitter again programmatically, by using the OperateSplitter function, which should translate to all attached resizing controls or moving. You can see an example of this (although not a tab inside Panel) in samples\userint\docking.cws.

• Tab control: all objects in different tabs of the line

  I have a tab with 6 tabs control.  Each tab has exactly the same things: two graphics and digital indicator.  I want the objects on each tab of too each other perfectly.  When the user moves from page to page, I do not want the user to see any movement due to a misalignment of the objects among the tabs.  What is the best way?  Thank you!

  Create a property for each element node and copy the Position of one of the indicators to all other indicators of the same type.

  You can also use an array of clusters instead of a tab control.  Put the graphics and digital indicators in a cluster.  Put them in a table.  Only display a single element of the array at the same time, but the table control allows to change is visible.

  This will probably make your code simpler and more logical also.

• Change of color of the page in a tab control programmatically

  AFAIK, you can manually change the colors of the individual pages in a tab control (if you have the property allow several colors set to True), but you can't do it programmatically.

  For my particular application, there is only a single page color, I need to change, so I can get the effect by setting the colors I want manually and activating / deactivating allow multiple colors on the control tab as needed, but I wonder if there is a better solution out there.

  My request is to have control tab with multiple pages. I want to add Boolean Quit button in all the pages, but the functionality of the button is the same regardless of the page.

  How has one-button with multiple copies in the façade, so that we can single terminal in the blockdiagram otherwise provide your suggestion to make multiple copies of single control of the front wall.

  who said often before:

  Create your button outside of the tab control, and then move it with the arrow keys (!) on the tab. You can use the "order/group" button in the menu if necessary...

  You have removed the timeout event once you let him down on the block diagram. Recreate it is no different than creating events to change the value for Boolean values. Simply select the Application as the event source.

  I don't know what you mean by a digital constant or a wire inside the structure of the event. The only constant you need is a value connected to one terminal of the time-out period and it is outside of the structure.
