Tab for claim to the Session of the monitor is by session or any database?

There is Contention tab under Tools-> monitor Sessions. It updates whenever another session is selected in the list of the sessions above. If this tab shows claim through the entire database? or is it just show for this session if the session causes or experience any claim?

The latter.

If you look at the SQL code in this page, you can see that the WHERE clause limits the results of the current session of the main report - this is indicated with the: rating of SID.

  • When you open a PDF saved on my computer, Firefox will open several tabs for all of the PDF files I have in a folder. Why?

Recently, I tried to open some files in Adobe to view on my company computer. They have been recorded on my shared drive companies, and everyone seems to be able to open the files very well. When I try to open the files the program proceeds to open Firefox and wonder through the internet, if I want to download the file. At the beginning it wasn't a problem, because it was just a minor inconvenience. So today, I was working in a folder containing several files PDF (about 125 to express my frustration) and when I click on a file to open it, Adobe proceeded to open all PDF files in the folder. This means that each file opened a new tab in Firefox and proceeded to ask me if I wanted to download it. As I hope you can tell, I quickly became frustrated because I wanted only one file and it would not stop opening new tabs to ask me the same question 125 times. The only way to stop it was to open the Task Manager and go forward to force Firefox altogether.

I tried to update the program on my computer (it was already up to date), I tried to update the plugin Firefox (it was already up to date) to adobe, I tried the repair Adobe Reader Installation (it doesn't make a difference), and I searched the internet for information about the problem (I was not successful in finding something that relates). According to me, the only thing that I did is to uninstall and reinstall the program on my computer, something I do not want to make I already said that it is a company computer.

If there is someone who can help me solve this problem, I would be very grateful. Thank you for your time.

Then, you need Adobe Reader, the default application to open PDFs, instead of FireFox. I think that FireFox just started doing this, and it is causing some confusion.

As well as the normal way of Windows to change the default application, which is not also known as it should be, you should be able to use Adobe Reader. In Edit > Preferences in the General section and see if there is a button "select default PDF Manager."

  • Is that the compress/decompresss utility file supported by all types of window OS? or for some region the user install it?

    Hi all:

Is the Compress/decompress utility file supported by all types of Windows OS (XP, VISTA, Windows 7)? or for some region the user install it?

Any link from the website of Microsoft?

I managed to get the guide from the Microsoft web site, but just a guide without a show of declaration of default installation during installation of the operating system.

    Windows Vista:

    Hello

Compress and decompress are not a separate tool/utility to download and install in the computer. They have functions that come with these 3 operating systems. These features are available in Windows XP/Vista/7 from across operating systems.

However, you can also use your favorite search engine for non-Microsoft applications to compress and extract files such as Winzip and Winrar.

Note: The use of third-party software, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third-party software can be solved. Software using third party is at your own risk.

    It will be useful.

  • Using the monitor 2 on PC

Using Windows 7 Professional - Assus computer / monitor and AOC monitor:

I have successfully connected two monitors to my computer and read what little I could find on how to use them--but not nearly enough to successfully use both monitors most of the day.  Nothing, for example, by using a monitor for digital art on a single computer and at the same time, using the secondary monitor looking for information on the internet.

Is there any where/place/documents /, etc. to read on how to use 2 monitors?

    Thank you

    Hello Carol,.

    Thanks for the reply.

Is that the problem is only with Firefox?

You can also check out the link below to solve the problem with dual monitors.

In addition, if you use Firefox on the separate monitor, you must open another instance of Firefox to work on it for other reasons, you cannot use a single instance of Firefox to check if its working.

  • Calibration of the monitor... L * settings?

I usaully calibrate my monitor to a gamma of 2.2, but it has been suggedted she can?  better to use the gamma L *.

Can someone give me some info if this is true?, or,

Give me a link explaining the optimum settings in gamma of the monitor calibration settings?

    Any help would be appreciated,

    Thank you

    Mike

There is no optimal target. Only L * if you have a really good monitor that can be calibrated to a deltaE in point 1 and you know very well what you are doing. Very few applications (only the properly color managed ones) will show you a correct color if you go. Otherwise, you should choose 2.2 and 6500 K for almost all cases. If you do a lot of internal printing and have a view calibrated printing environment, it sometimes makes sense to go for calibration of color temperature 5800 k. For some screens, it is better to use the native color temperature and the native gamma for calibration, but most of the screens do not need that.

Essentially if you have to ask, you probably won't do.

  • When I close FF4 I not give me the ability to save multiple tabs open on my next session

When I upgraded to FF4, I was sad to see one of my favorite features was no longer there. With a mile long bar address and the home button which is almost off the screen. I also noticed that there is no history button next to the front buttons and back why does. I like FF4 but I have about these features I'd seen on.

One of the changes in Firefox 4: by default Firefox 4 does not display the warning "Save tabs and exit" then to the closure of several tabs, but it can be turned on again by changing some preferences.

    • Record of the tabs was not removed from Firefox 4, but it works a little differently.
    • By default, Firefox 4 will not ask to save tabs, but instead it will always save your tabs on the output unless you're in private browsing mode. You can restore the next time by:
      1. by clicking on the Firefox button > history > "restore previous Session ', or
      2. type of Subject: House in the URL bar and press the Enter key, then press the button "restore previous Session."

To display the message "save tabs and exit" when closing multiple tabs, you can do the following:

    1. Type of topic: config in the URL/address bar and press the Enter key
    2. Accept the warning message (promise to be careful)
    3. Open the preferences/list page
    4. Filter = browser.tabs.warnOnClose
    5. If its value is set to false, double-click top (in the lower panel) to toggle its value to true
    6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 for the 3 following preferences also:
      • browser.warnOnQuit
      • browser.warnOnRestart
      • browser.showQuitWarning

  • How can I save my tabs for the next time I open the browser?

In the previous edition (3.6.12) if I want to close my pc, I had the ability to save my tabs for the next time... I can't find this option in this version.

Firefox 4.0 automatically saves your session when you close Firefox. Next time you open Firefox, click on the link of the Previous Session restoration on the default on: Home home page or in the menu of the Session previous restore point in the history of menu drop-down.

  • How to get to the homepage on the tab 'for you '?

    12.4.2.4 iTunes

With Apple's music subscription, I am browsing inside the tab "for you." There is no button to take me directly to the page by default "for you" main see you playlists and albums selected for your taste.

The only way to get there is by using the ' back' button on the left and the high if iTunes, which is a real pain, because it works as a browser, to get to where you have just before, so if you've been suspended for different pages for half an hour, you may need to click on dozens of times to return to the home page.

Please see the image as an attachment, I searched the last album of Daft Punk, chosen. I'm under the tab "for you", there is no button to go home. I have to click several times on the ' back' button on the left corner of the tab bar.

Is there another way to go to Homepage?

    Hello

Click on for you. This should bring you back to the default display. It works for me!

  • Want Firefox to save your tabs for the next time it starts?

FF 27.0.1 on Linux Mint XFCE 16, up to date.

I have my preferences set to "show my home page".

Whenever I close FF with the X in the upper left corner, he gets up and asks me "do you want Firefox to save your tabs for the next time it starts? I check the box to ask next time and have tried both save and exit and just left. When I open the browser again, it seems to randomly decide to open all the tabs I had last time, or sometimes (rarely) just my home page tabs.

I don't want to open all the tabs I had open, and I don't want the question whenever I have leave FF. I used FF for years with XP, but I am new to Mint.

  • Why gesture to turn on my trackpad behaves not as before for switching between tabs when it works the same with all other programs besides Firefox?

Why gesture to turn on my trackpad behaves not as before for switching between tabs when it works the same with all other programs besides Firefox?

I changed the subject: config to make the rotation gesture to move between tabs and it worked great for well over a year. It now behaves properly, as described here:

    https://Bugzilla.Mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=877598

It used to be very controllable move a tab on, now it is erratic and moves quickly and the unexpected tabs regardless of the slowness, I do the gesture of rotation. It's the main reason I use Firefox on Chrome and I will continue to do so unless there is no solution for this.

Just put the browser.gesture.twist.threshold to something around 15-25.

When firefox load it also load another tab for the search engine. How can I remove this where it will load only my start page?

You can check the setting of the home page and make sure that it doesn't have a leak ' |'.

Firefox supports several home pages separated by ' |' symbol.

  • I want to open several tabs for the same Web site. 9.0 will allow me to do this?

I keep getting pop up windows to update to Firefox 9.0 because its faster etc. I look round and he tells me he asks me if I already have one open. I WANT THE SAME SITE OPENED IN SEVERAL TABS according to what I'm working on. Is it still possible with the updated version. IF this isn't the case, I don't want it, but none of the FAQ questions even thought my question.

When you enter a site in the URL/address bar and see the section "Switch to tab" in the drop-down menu, you can

    • use ALT + ENTER to open the new tab (duplicate) anyway
    • Use CTRL (CMD on OSX) + left click on the original tab and drag until you see an arrow under the point of rupture between the two tabs upward, then release the left button, then release the CTRL/CMD key to obtain a duplicate of the tab with all of its history (front/rear)
    • Press the SHIFT key while an entry in the drop-down list is highlighted to disable 'Switch to the tab' and see the URL.
    • Use the right arrow to select an element marked as switch to tab in the menu drop-down and copy the URL in the address bar.
    • Open the URL in the current tab by using shift + enter on the highlighted entry.
    • ALT + Enter open the URL highlighted in a new tab.
    • Shift + enter opens the URL highlighted in the current tab.
    • Cursor right copies the URL highlighted in the address bar where you want to change it.

You can install this add-on to completely disable "switch to tab": https://addons.Mozilla.org/en-us/Firefox/addon/switch-to-tab-no-more/
