  Following article will provide you with information related to the integration of the OID:

  13.2.5 oracle Internet Directory (OID)

  You can implement an OID authentication scheme have Enterprise Manager to authenticate users against the OID.

  The emctl config auth oid on the WHO command creates an OracleInternetDirectoryAuthenticator type WebLogic authentication provider that uses the configuration specified by the command parameter values. All the configuration values specified not retain the default values. Tuning and modification of the OID advanced configuration settings is performed through the Console of Administration WebLogic Server and not the emctl config oid auth command.

  Prerequisites

  LDAP Directory Internet Oracle server is turned on.

  Run the oid emctl config auth on each SGD command.

  emctl config auth oid-ldap_host - - ldap_principal ldap_port [-ldap_credential ] [-sysman_pwd ] - user_base_dn - group_base_dn
  where:

  ldap_host: LDAP host name

  ldap_port: the LDAP port

  ldap_principal: the unique name (DN) of the user LDAP of the WebLogic Server should use to connect to the LDAP server.

  ldap_credential: password for the user specified by ldap_principal.

  user_base_dn: the basis of unique name (DN of the tree in the LDAP directory that contains the users).

  group_base_dn - the base distinguished name (DN of the tree in the LDAP directory that contains the groups).

  Example:

  emctl config auth oid-ldap_host "ldaphost" - ldap_port "3060-" ldap_principal "cn = sleep" - user_base_dn "cn = users, dc = us, dc = oracle, dc = com" - group_base_dn "cn = groups, dc = us, dc = oracle, dc = com" - ldap_credential "my_ldap_password" - sysman_pwd "my_sysman_password".
  Stop the SGD.

  emctl stop who-all

  Restart the SGD.

  emctl start SGD

  Note:
  For deployments of Enterprise Manager in several instances of the WHO, emctl config auth oid must be run on each SGD. Each MSO must be restarted so that the changes take effect.
  Test the Configuration of OIDS

  Use the WebLogic Server Console of Administration (tab users and groups) to check if the configuration of the OID is successful. To access this tab, select Home/summary of Security Realms/myrealm/users and groups. Tab users and groups, you will see the users and the groups showing the OID.

  A project to migrate our RMAN recovery catalog (11.2.0.3 database) to the CAR, I need to update the Manager of the company with the new catalog of recovery settings. So far I couldn't find how to change it for each database individually, which will be your time to 40 + databases! I found this doc metalink [Doc ID 840051.1] on how to do it in the EM grid control, but don't find anything on how to do this for Cloud control 12 c.

  Does anyone know how to do this? Pointers would be much appreciated.

  This should also work for Cloud control 12 c.

  -Go to the homepage of the EM.

  -In the target tab click on databases.

  -In availability tab click 'Catalogues of recovery. "

  Hi, I need Cloud Control for my review "performance and Tuning. Is... i have a problem can not install it.
  Everything was perfect until the-> 'contact information database connection"where I need to write:

  1 host database name: ORCL

  2 port: 1521

  3 services/SID: orcl

  4 password SYS: < my password for sys > (it's all 100% good data to my database, I checked in EM Express)

  And when I click on the button 'NEXT', error window comes up with 'u host name entered can found should. "
  I used google and find this:

  • If you see an error message indicating that the connection to the database has failed with ORA-01017 user not valid name and password, and then follow these steps to resolve the issue: (1) check the SYS password supplied is valid. (2) make sure that the database initialization parameter REMOTE_LOGIN_PASSWORDFILE is set to Shared or Exclusive. () 3) check this file password with the file name orapw<SID> is in the <ORACLE_HOME>/dbs Directory of the House database. If it is not the case, create a password file using the ORAPWD command.

  I did all this but the problem just stay.

  Yes, EM 12 c, you can navigate to the page "Get started with database Resource Manager" Resource Manager by selecting from the drop-down list of the Administration in a homepage of the database. I believe in 'EM 10g resources manager link is in the Server tab.

• Question tab User Interface control

  Heey everybody,

  I have disigned a program and user interface, on this user interface, there is a tab (see attachment) control in this tab control, you can select several measures. It is a school project and according to my professor is not clear enough what measure is selected.

  My question: is there a way to give the active tab a different color? If you know a way to create a nice user interface that has the same capabilities as the control tab (select measure and wire in measured values).

  It is possible to give different tabs of different colors, first of all, you must enable several colors - "just right-click on a tab on the control. "Select Advanced" allow multiple colors.

  I would advise against using tab for navigation has been standardized for a long time.  But you can use the button Down? event filter in an event structure to change a behavior of keys.  Specifically if someone hits the identification key 9 by Char and ASCII for Vcleentry.  You can also use this to disable the tab key.

• Broken tab LV8.6 control

  Hi guys,.

  I just started working with LabView a month or two ago.   I make the front of my VI to look nice and pretty, grouping and locking of the things that I went so I wouldn't keep grabbing the wrong items.  I tried to block the tab control, but when I went to unlock it, it said that it had never been locked.

  Now, I can't grasp the tab and resize/etc-it, like he was really stuck.  In addition, if I add a new element to any given tab, I lose control of it and can not resize/right click or anything.  I can drag to select an item, then delete it or move it with the arrow keys, but I'm not even those to the tab control.

  I tried locking and unlocking of the control tab, but if I play too much, I get an error message about fpsane.cpp.  It is certainly not go far, however.  Any thoughts on how I can avoid completely rebuild the façade?

  Hey,.

  I think that I managed to unlock it. If you check the box that is around the tab and send it to the back. then move the tab area. Select the entire tab control and then unlock it. It worked for me. Please see the attached VI.

  LV7.0 running.  Just set main tab on vi order.  VI main has some controls tab, each control tab with several pages, each page has controls.  What hardware is connected via USB, the program talks, determines what options it has installed and active / deactivate the corresponding tab pages.  Using the mouse, the disabled tab pages can be selected, so no button residing on a disabled tab cannot be clicked.  However, using the tab key, I can control tab and use the arrow keys left and right to go through the pages of tabs, even the disabled, those.  Whats more, if I stop on a disabled tab page, press tab again, it will select the buttons disabled in the disabled page.  By pressing the Enter key, I can activate this option.  How to stop the button tab allowing me access to the disabled tab pages?

  How can I get LV jump pages disabled or greyed out in a tab control, while allowing the other pages to be tabulated.  Cannot be done.  you will be able to tab to a page turned off unless you disable the entire tab control tab.

There are propmts me to light them mannualy in systems that they tab already, but they do not always allow me to turn on the automatic updates on the Security tab. I don't see the yellow shield appearing at the bottom RHS of the screen more updated?  someone know why?

  YAY. I got it fixed. I had to reinstall the automatic updates service and everything works. All updates now came through windows and the Security Center has all the lights GREEN.

  You can not.  Your choice is, distribute the script for all servers and run via the single command in the corrective action.  Or, put the script in the corrective action so that everybody calls him together, instead of a single cmd call a script.

  Can I set up a cloud Incident control waiting, maybe 10 seconds, before rule of triggereing a connection failure / inaccessible? We sometimes have errors of transient connection to monitored hosts, and I get inaccessible agent and other errors, which are erased a few seconds later. I therefore really Cloud Control to pause and try again before you trigger the rule.

  There is probably a way to run an external script, but if it is possible to do with CC, it would be preferable.
