  more than an hour on these problems:

  @Rob: I used command-Shift and it always works when the black Selection tool is active. By selecting and dragging to create a copy of the object.

  A workaround solution was found:

  In ADF 12 c, it can be solved by changing Updatable "Always" in the details tab of each attributes to read-only view object without entity object.

• Problems with the highlighting of the mouse and copy - paste

  In Word 2007, click the Windows orb in the top right corner and select Word options at the bottom next to the exit button.  Click on advanced, then uncheck the "when selecting, automatically select entire word."

  There are also some other options here, you might be interested.

  I accidentally opened two windows of Firefox and closed one with all my tabs pinned first, then the second tab. After Firefox reload all my tabs are missing and I tried to rename files, copy and paste files, etc. as suggests these forums, but nothing has worked. I have myself screwed on?

  Check first the Menu history for any tab restore options.
  In the second place.
  If you have already restarted Firefox and have a copy of the files: close Firefox

  1. Open the profile folder profiles - where Firefox stores your bookmarks, passwords and other user data
  2. Save the previous.js recovery.bak and recovery.js under another name
  3. Place the recovery files in the profile folder.

  So that this does not happen again change your tab Preferences and settings or try Session Manager add and save your profile.

• How to display an object while ALT-do drag and copy, then release?

  I'm working on Indesign version 8.0.1 with my new Macbook, but when I duplicate an object, it will not show the object when I'm dragging all by pressing ALT. I can only see part of the object, but not the object itself, until I actually pick up, which is really a lot of time and practice. It wasn't a problem on my computer where I work. Anyone know if this has something to do with preferences?

  but I suggest that, as it can slow performance of InDesign considerably.

• Scenario: Creating layers and copy/paste

  I have a JSON data structure that import from a file, which defines a hierarchy that I need to recreate tree.
  At each point of the tree, I need to load an image and place it correctly on the screen (all data in my JSON file).
  
  I can write the script to create the hierarchy (using addNewLayer() and addNewSubLayer()) very well.
  I can write the script to import all the graphics very well also.
  
  However, if I try to combine the two by importing the graphic so as to create the layer, it fails. Trying to create the next layer for graph fails, a message "-1073741819'.»
  
  I was stuck on this problem for days now, and I got to this point stuck on other issues, this is my last option for what I do! (frame export of graphics for the production of Blu - ray)
  
  The only other option to avoid this encrypted error message would be to create the layers, then import the chart subsequently and then re - position the graphics in the correct layers...
  
  
  What would be really really useful would be to get into the conversation by e-mail or otherwise with the Fireworks javascript expert so that I could discuss other dead ends, I came to (leading back me to Photoshop for this last phase of the color reduction)

  Well, it looks like what I really need, it was doc.importFile ().

  Thanks to John Dunning to host a scripts ("order Page") that has used it. It is in the documentation of FW, but I forgot of course. However, its funny (and reasuring) John was also having the same problem when using an another doc after calling doc.close ().

  If Workstation is able to detect when travel/copies have been made and then by making modifications in the case of a copy, which completes clone offers just copy + paste the entire folder, and then click "I copied it" when asked is not?

  Copy / paste includes all snapshots.
  Full clone you gives a choice, and you can select what snapshot is used. This snapshot is then consolidated so that the result is a virtual machine without clichés.

  For virtual machines that have no pictures, there is no difference between a full clone and copy/paste of VM

  The operating system would prohibit me files copy/paste and drag and drop files text copy and paste all of a sudden. No error message; the right operating system does not respond to my 'stick' and 'slide' actions; 'paste' is grayed out in the menu. ('Copy' seems to be black if I remember correctly).

  I got 6.5 VMware workstation installed about 3 weeks now and I think my wife think me crazy for buying the license last night due to the fact that he has several features that simply do not work.

  Now I ask anyone with knowledge of this product for shut up here and explain it.  The instructions are not difficult to understand, and no reason I can think to copy and paste them here since the help files.

  I will say this however.  I am running windows XP pro host and Vmware with Linux Red Hat Fedora 10 as the guest OS.  I'll probably install XP on it in a day or two to see how it works.  Long user VPC time here to try VMWARE first at the time I also tried connectix VPC and choose to keep the VPC then as the top program.  It is quite obvious that VMware is the best of both in its current phase, but how in the world can you expect from ourselves to a program that does not work in some critical areas.

  Is anyone else out there there's this version 6.5 installed and if yes can actually use you files shared?  Someone there itstalled with XP and Linux Guest host?

  Any one that can have drag and drop?  Copy and paste work?  Anyone with shared working folders?

  15 + years here making advanced computer repair and management of small groups of private programmers and even if I'm not him the brightest star in the sky, I think that if these features worked I could do it, but they simply do not have.

  I noticed that vmware - the user does not seem to start on RPM based distributions.  I saw this on Suse 11.1, F10 and Centos 5.2.  It starts automatically on debian (lenny) and kubunto at least here.

  I have vmware workstation 7.1.1 on a host windows7 (64) and xp (sp3) client. I'm trying to copy some text from the client to the host with the Clipboard. It does not work.  The setting for the isolation of the comments in the Settinmgs virtual machine (options tab) are both enabled. I also activate vmci.

  I tried to copy back and forth and you don't see any effect (dough is always disabled or not content). Drag-and - déposer stop when I try to leave to the client window.

  any help is welcome.

• Windows XP SP3: Unable to start, System Restore cannot drag and drop ALL the files/folders on the desktop and applications, many unable to start, services cannot search, cannot copy or transfer the any files folders...

  After a recent power outage, my system has restarted with a weird and very common Windows problems range. The system boots fine, all my personal files/folders/apps are intact, have suddenly stopped almost all functions of applications, but many crucial functions of the Windows kernel. Everything seems to point to several Windows Services are unable to start (administrative tools on the start menu). I am running Win XP SP3 and that he was going to upgrade to Windows 7, but I wanted to backup everything in advance. As I have 29 000 hours on my C: drive and a lot of time invested in my system, files, and applications, I am extremely reluctant to risk losing my files and applications by performing any type of reinstalling Windows. Strangely, begin to almost all my apps and all my files are accessible for the most part, but I've lost the ability to drag and drop files, folders or items in a list within the applications COMPLETELY. I can't copy or paste anything, can't move the desktop icons (although I can create new files and folders). So at the moment I can't save anything or even a single file transfer to a hard drive on another storage medium. Immediate reaction: try safe mode and try the system restore safe mode has the same problems (likely due to the large number of system services that inexplicably refuses to start) and the system restore says an error window saying "system restore is not able to protect your computer at this time. try restoring the system running and restart again", which of course NEVER changes. It's the equivalent of getting a tire on your car in the middle of nowhere to find the spare tire flat and the missing Jack. I have used to be fanatical about the definition of the regular restore points, but now can not access them. I have backups of most of my personal files, but over years have lost most of the original installation CD for many of my applications (there are over 100 applications on my system) and I don't want to lose the file associations and architecture of directory tree that it took my so long to implement. I started with Win XP media center edition of first (circa 2004 or almost) and have migrated twice more of 3 hard disks and 2 computers. All this time (5 years of daily use), I have NEVER known so many malfunctions for as many Windows basic and vital functions at the same time. I tried a lot of 3rd party "windows fix - it / registry repair" apps, all have no effect. Everything I can speculate is there was some serious damage to the registry and have no idea how/why so many Services refuse to start. In MMC, more than half of the services actually start and run, the rest all give the error message "the service or dependencies is not start (error 1068).» In addition, very oddly, no. APPS or windows appear in the toolbar AT ALL, but the Quick Launch toolbar works very well, just like the tray button and start tasks (?! )!). If I reduce a window, it "disappears" (Nothing on the task bar), but I can restore it using the alt - tab keyboard shortcut to switch apps, so all applications/windows appear on the list of the Task Manager. A few apps is paralyzed bad, as the player windows media, itunes, etc. (I guess because the service windows audio can not not start), some won't start at all, but 90% of them work fine, except to try to copy or back up all files. I can create new files, however. I'm desperate to find a solution to repair XP3 Win WITHOUT losing my installed applications and files, before I try and switch to WIndows 7. Any help/suggestions/links/advice would be much appreciated. I'm an experienced user, but I've never met so many malfunctions based on the OS at a time. I, however, very painfully learned (years before that my system so complex) it's been almost a re-installation of Windows guarantees to lose my installed apps and files, the directory tree architecture associations.

  I'll be honest with you - your message is so difficult to read that I don't bother to go through all that. Next time consider using white space, ball or points numbered, etc. to make your message more readable. I stopped reading after your first sentence and only scanned the rest quickly. I do not mean to hurt your feelings; just trying to help you get targeted answers you need for the future.

  The blackout has corrupted your Windows installation. Back up your data now. Since you have problems so much, it would be probably best is to remove the hard drive, put it in a USB drive enclosure and attach it to another computer to copy the data OR start the target with Linux Livecd such as Knoppix system and copy the data to an external hard drive. IOW, do not use the damaged windows to try to get your data.

  You can try a repair that will leave your programs and facility data intact, but with this widespread bribery, it is unlikely to work. However, it takes only a few minutes and is so worth a try. If the repair facility does not work there is nothing to do, but a clean install. And Yes, it will mean that over again.

  Consider buying a UPS to help prevent future damage by power outages. For a single computer, you should look for one in the area of $60 to 80. A more expensive UPS is not necessary. Another good disaster recovery strategy is to buy an external hard drive and Acronis True Image. You can image your system (and can make an incremental backup image so that your image is still current). You can apply your image and be back running that you were in relatively few minutes after a hard drive or Windows to fail.

  I have installed the agent of sight, recorded the comments with the connection to the server and can connect using client PCoIP.  However copy/paste, drag-drop and file share do not work.

  I installed each open-vm-tools * available on the guest computer (apt - get install open-vm-tools-lts-faithful open-vm-tools-lts-trusty-dkms open-vm-tools-lts-trusty-desktop & & apt - get install open-vm-tools open-vm-Tools-office open-vm-tools-dkms) individually and together.

  Running vmware-user-suid-wrapper manually in the connected session errorcould not open proc/fs/vmblock/dev .  lsmod does not show vmblock module loaded, nor can it be found if I attempt to modpobe it manually.

  Anyone got this working on 14.04.03?

  P.S. I don't think that this is not due to politics in sight connection to the server.  MMR, USB redirection are all enabled.

  The documents are for vSphere, not Horizon Linux Desktop.

  Linux Desktop 6.2.0 horizon has no support on the copy/paste.

  Linux Desktop 6.2.1 horizon will be released soon, which has official copy/paste support on RHEL/CentOS 6.6 x 64. For Ubuntu 1204/1404 x 64, although there is no official support for copy/paste, it should work.
