Tables stored in the class

Hi guys,.

currently workng on my own class private access and store an xml doc.

my current class looks like:

// ---------------------------

class {Blogger

public var feedURL:String;
private var totalEntries:Number;
public var blogEntries:Array = [];

public void Blogger(feedSource:String) {}

feedURL = feedSource;
var data_xml = new XML();
data_xml.ignoreWhite = true;
var blogEntries:Array = [];

data_xml. OnLoad = {function (success)}
If (success) {}
totalEntries = data_xml.firstChild.childNodes.length - 10;
for (var i: Number = 0; i < totalEntries; i ++) {}
blogEntries.push ({author:data_xml.childNodes [0] Sublst.ChildNodes(1).ChildNodes(0) [(10 + i)] Sublst.ChildNodes(1).ChildNodes(0) [1] Sublst.ChildNodes(1).ChildNodes(0) [0] Sublst.ChildNodes(1).ChildNodes(0) [0] .nodeValue,})
Date: data_xml.childNodes [0] Sublst.ChildNodes(1).ChildNodes(0) [(10 + i)] Sublst.ChildNodes(1).ChildNodes(0) [4] Sublst.ChildNodes(1).ChildNodes(0) [0] .nodeValue.
Title:data_xml.ChildNodes [0] Sublst.ChildNodes(1).ChildNodes(0) [(10 + i)] Sublst.ChildNodes(1).ChildNodes(0) [7] Sublst.ChildNodes(1).ChildNodes(0) [0] .nodeValue.
Article: data_xml.childNodes [0] Sublst.ChildNodes(1).ChildNodes(0) [(10 + i)] Sublst.ChildNodes(1).ChildNodes(0) [8] Sublst.ChildNodes(1).ChildNodes(0) [0] .nodeValue
});
}
}
}

data_xml. Load (feedurl);
}
}

// -----------

Now all the xml code is loading and accessed fine, the problem that I push these data in the table that I created to store all «BlogEntries» So it is continually reverting in length 0 data are for some reason any not pushed... ideas or help gratefully received.

was soon everybody!
Nick

Seems all you need to do is copy the BlogEntries local to the classmember. Otherwise, you need a local reference to the object to access the members of the class in managers of reminder - see second piece of code.

  • Class property node information not stored in the class file

    Hello

    did happen to you that you add a property (accessor get/set of an attribute) in a class node, Save the project, move the project to another location and it open and that the property node is missing in the project, although that the file VI is there in the file system? Unfortunately, it causes other screws using the property node is broken after moving the project to new place.

    The class file is some sort of XML and I checked: property node information is missing indeed, that seems to be lost when you save the project to the original location.

    Any idea?

    Peter

    Peter,

    If the content about the VI for the property URL is indeed missing in the file lvclass, it should not be a problem of relatively/absolute path.

    So what I want to know to clear:

    -PC 1 is used to develop the project, including the class (file lvclass and a few screws). You save the project using project explore everything back up?

    -Then you copy EVERYTHING used in the project manually to 2 PC (a unique project directory?).

    -Open the copy on the new machine shows the issue: the lvclass file does not include the entry for the node property accessor get/set screw option, but the screws are in the space provided (in the project folder).

    Is this correct?

    If so, the file lvclass on PC 1 contains about property nodes?

    If the parameter is there, please compare the original file and the copy of the timestamp and size. It seems that the lvclass file is not copied correctly.

    If the parameter is missing on 1 PC, the question must also be enabled on the developer's computer. When you try to save the lvclass file: it overwrites the file and create a new stamp/size for her?

    Otherwise, wait for the lvclass file to be write protected...

  • Import of stored outside the class of XML as3 code?

    Hello

    I have the following code string stored in an XML file:

    MovieClip (parent) .gotoAndStop (15);

    That I imported it to the global var....

    Globals.Data.navtest

    ... to help...

    Globals.Data.navtest = test.toString ();

    It works very well - if I trace (globals.data.navtest); It generates MovieClip (parent) .gotoAndStop (15);

    What I want to do is now actually use globals.data.navtest in my Flash project to run MovieClip (parent) .gotoAndStop (15);

    How do I do that?  I have to import it as something other than a string, or do I have to code something that says flash 'run the code that is in globals.data.navtest?

    I want to keep all the code in the XML tag, if I can change this without opening Flash CS4.

    Thanks for your help guys.

    I don't know how this works, but if you just need global vars you can use a class as they are global http://greenethumb.com/article/11/global-variables-in-as3

  • Huge table with PDF (1.4 TB) be stored outside the database

    We have a table with BLOB where a PDF one stored. Now, we want to bring these data from the database (backup reaseans etc..).

    Any solution? Maybe a total another data store - stuff 'BIG DATA '?

    Thanks - regards

    Oliver

    If some give me a solution for a way to store PDF files outside the database.

    If you want to store the PDF file outside the database, then there are usually two approaches.

    (1) in the database, there is a table that stores the name of the file and the location on disk of the PDF. The written application the PDF file in the file system and then updates the database with the location and the name of this PDF file. If the application must Access the PDF, it looks up info in the database and then retrieve this file. The application must be able to read and write to the disk outside the database.

    (2) use such BFILE as mentioned previously.

    In both cases, your PDF documents is stored outside the database, but in my opinion, this does not eliminate the need for backups. If these PDF are lost, and there is no backup, then the data are lost. Because its outside of the database, a database backup backs up only data. The backup may be different and however different backup method is used. But I've seen cases where the db backup was performed at a given time and the binary backup was done at another time and restoration, there were inconsistencies that needed reconciliation.

  • AF:table value of text entry box does not get stored in the database.

    Hello
    I use af:table in my jsff page. The table contains the column of text entry box. After clicking the Create (+) button, a line has been added to the table. I got value into the text entry field and click the 'OK' button to commit the transaction. When I check the database, the entered value is not stored in the database. What I've observed, it's that if I have more than 1 table in the af: table and after entering the value into the text entry field, if I tab out and control moves to the next line, and then click the OK"" button. This time, the value you entered get stored in the database. It's look like, the value of current row is not updated until the action tab. Please help me solve this problem.

  • In a table - looping through the rows and the stored procedure call

    APEX version: 3.2.0.00.27

    Hello

    I searched the forum and tried a few things but could not make it work.

    I have a tabular presentation, developed with the help of the ATD (Cascading LOV - method of tabular presentation - AJAX - ATD )

    What I'm trying to do now:
    -After submit and validations, loop through all the lines and
    -call a stored procedure passing 3 parameters obtained from each of the lines on the form of tables. This procedure will be an update of a database table.

    On the forum, I found that I could do the loop "* FOR i IN 1..." APEX_APPLICATION.g_f03. "LOOP COUNT *" syntax.

    Only for testing purposes, I tried just to view information with the following (On Load - after a footer) process (example of Denes Kubicek == > http://deneskubicek.blogspot.com/2009/05/execute-javascript-throuhg-plsql.html):
    declare
      v_today  varchar2 (200);
    begin
    --  :P40_test := APEX_APPLICATION.g_f03(1);
    --  :P40_test2 := APEX_APPLICATION.g_f04.COUNT;
      :P40_test2 := 100;

      v_today := to_char (sysdate, 'dd.mm.yyyy');

    --FOR i IN 1.. APEX_APPLICATION.g_f03.COUNT LOOP

      :P40_test := APEX_APPLICATION.g_f02(2);

      HTP.p ('<script type="text/javascript">');
      HTP.p (   'alert(''Today is '
              || v_today
    --          || APEX_APPLICATION.g_f04(APEX_APPLICATION.g_f03(i))
              || '.\n'
              || 'end!'');'
             );
      HTP.p ('</script>');

    --    :P40_test := APEX_APPLICATION.g_f02(APEX_APPLICATION.g_f02(i));

    --END LOOP;

    end;
    The foregoing would give me a ' * ORA-01403: no data found * ' message. I tried through various variants of APEX_APPLICATION.g_f0* #*, but still can't get anything to display correctly. In commenting on all the lines referring to APEX_APPLICATION.g_f0x above, the date would be are they displayed fine.

    I tried uncomment the FOR... LOOP and play with the code (defining the process runs "On submit - after calculations" and Validations), I got was a ' * ORA-06502: PL/SQL: digital error or value: character conversion number error * "message.

    Here is the script of the form in a table:
    select
    "V"."MSLINK",                                       -- hidden (number)
    "V"."INSTALLATION_DATE",                        -- editable date picker
    "V"."MANUFACTURER_INDICATOR",              -- editable (cascading LOV -- text)
    "V"."MODEL_INDICATOR",                           -- editable (cascading LOV -- text)
    "V"."DIAMETER_INDICATOR",                      -- editable (LOV -- number)
    "V"."PURPOSE_INDICATOR",                        -- editable (LOV -- text)
    "V"."VALVE_NUMBER",                                -- shown but not editable -- number
    "V"."MODIFY_DATE",                                  -- shown but not editable
    "V"."MODIFY_USER",                                   -- shown but not editable
    "V"."VALVES_STYLE"."FEATURE"                  -- shown but not editable -- number
    from "#OWNER#"."VALVES" "V"
    Where
      "V"."PROJECT_ID" = :P1_PROJECT_NUMBER AND
      "V"."VALVES_DFLAG" = 0
    Regarding the parameters for the stored procedure, it would the MSLINK, VALVE_NUMBER and the VALVES_STYLE. FEATURE.

    Help, please!
    (Sorry for the long post).

    Thank you

    Tan

    Hi, Tan,

    I have not seen that type of object - I've only used custom types for purposes of test years ago and have never used their within Apex!

    One possibility is that the value of checksum being is based on all of the content of these fields, rather than only the part of the FEATURE. If there are other parts of the object, you could include those items as well.

    Otherwise, as you f01 KP for a record, you will need to retrieve the values of the FUNCTION in your PL/SQL code directly from the table (because the user cannot modify these fields, you can be sure that the values in the table will be still valid).

  • Unable to apply the class style to the line of the table?

    created a class style with pad of 10px on only right & vertical alignment at the top.

    I want to apply this class to a table row - but when I do - I get the correct vertical alignment - but none touch.

    If I apply the same class style to each td cell - then the alignment and buffer work.

    I have a stupid mistake? There are 40 cells of td in the rank - so it would be more quickly just to apply the class to the whole line. any ideas what I am doing wrong? much thanks in advance.

    And by the way, the best way to proceed would be next, using a
    descendant selector-

    .padThis td {vertical-align: top; padding: 10px ;}}

    ...

    Now, all thetags thatwill be filling and alignment
    you want.

  • Given Oracle Spatial are stored in the database tables?

    Given Oracle Spatial are stored in the database tables?

    Oracle spatial is DBMS oracle server functionality. It allows you in NATIVE mode, store and manage all standard types of spatial data and their attributes and metadata in the oracle database enterprise, in the way that you are quite familiar with. on top of standard oracle database features, adds types of geographic data, spatial index, geometric operators and queries, functions, spatial and analytical, to name a few.

    MapViewer is a feature of Oracle Fusion Middleware, which makes cards using spatial data managed by Oracle Spatial. That's what you called "generator of maps. but of course, it's not just a map generator, he has much more to offer, such as MapBuilder, WMS, Oracle cards.

    When I try to run the following code, I get the error:
    1120: access of undefined property myArray. for lines 4, 5, 6 and 7.
    This code is copied from the Adobe documentation and works if it is placed directly in a frame. Declare a new object will fail in the same way inside the class. But another class of upper level new Date works as expected. What I'm missing here?

    variable declarations are doing inside a class definition. variable assignment must be made within the constructor of the class that you are missing...

    {Classes package

    var myArray:Array = new Array (); \
    public void TryArray (): void {}

  • Select a table returned in the result of the query

    Hi, I'm trying to find a way to query a table name that I'm back to a different query. I am doing this in pure SQL and PL/SQL, if I can.

    Here's the situation. I have a table called FILES, a table called TYPE and an unknown number of different reference tables with different names.

    Each entry in the FILE has a reference to a TYPE id, and each entry type is a varchar that contains the name of a table reference, such as PHOTO_INFORMATION, PDF_INFORMATION or XML_INFORMATION.

    I want to be able to extract the data from the reference table for any data file. So with a file id, I question TYPE to get the name of the reference table (IE, "PHOTO_INFORMATION" back) then the request it is at this table for all of its columns, using the reference id in the FILE table.

    The thing is that I wish it were generic, so that I can just add an entry to AA_TYPE and a new table for this type, and then I can ask her but I want, through the FILE table. The reason is that there are some data that is common for all files, and I would like to that data in one place.

    Here is my paintings, I have two reference tables of the sample to the bottom "AA_FILETYPE1" and "AA_FILETYPE_PHOTO".
    CREATE TABLE  "AA_FILES"
       (     "FILE_ID" NUMBER,
         "FILE_NAME" VARCHAR2(4000),
         "FILE_TYPE" NUMBER,
         "REFERENCE_ID" NUMBER,
          CONSTRAINT "AA_TEST_FILE_PK" PRIMARY KEY ("FILE_ID") ENABLE
       )
    /

    CREATE TABLE  "AA_TYPE"
       (     "TYPE_ID" NUMBER NOT NULL ENABLE,
         "REFERENCE_TABLE" VARCHAR2(4000),
          CONSTRAINT "AA_TYPE_PK" PRIMARY KEY ("TYPE_ID") ENABLE
       )
    /

    CREATE TABLE  "AA_FILETYPE1"
       (     "REFERENCE_ID" NUMBER,
         "DATE_MODIFIED" DATE,
         "SUMMARY" VARCHAR2(4000),
         "TOTAL_VALUE" NUMBER(5,2),
          CONSTRAINT "AA_FILETYPE1_PK" PRIMARY KEY ("REFERENCE_ID") ENABLE
       )
    /

    CREATE TABLE  "AA_FILETYPE_PHOTO"
       (     "REFERENCE_ID" NUMBER NOT NULL ENABLE,
         "DATE_TAKEN" DATE,
         "CAMERA_NUMBER" VARCHAR2(4000),
         "WEATHER_CONDITIONS" VARCHAR2(4000),
         "CONSULTANT_NAME" VARCHAR2(4000),
          CONSTRAINT "AA_FILETYPE_PHOTO_PK" PRIMARY KEY ("REFERENCE_ID") ENABLE
       )
    /
    Here's an example query I would use:
    select * from (select REFERENCE_TABLE from AA_TYPE where TYPE_ID = AA_FILES.FILE_TYPE) where REFERENCE_ID = AA_FILES.REFERENCE_ID;
    So who withdrew all the columns in the reference given in AA_TYPE table based on an entry in AA_FILES.

    I'm not entirely sure how to do this, or if this is possible even without using PL/SQL.

    I'm open to suggestions on how to achieve what I want with a different design of table, I am a student and I'm not really experienced in database design. (My first design of database class isn't until next year!)

    Thank you very much!

    Sorry about the confusion about file_id = 3, I meant the insert in the third I've included. I did not indicate the id_fichier in my inserts since it is the main key and it auto increments.

    It is important to post of the CREATE TABLE and INSERT statements that work. All those who want to help you to will want to recreate the problem and test solutions. Also, do not use strings for all entries. If the column is a NUMBER, use a NUMBER in the INSERT statement. If the column is a DATE, use a DATE or a function that returns a DATE.
    So you should post something like:

    insert into AA_FILES(FILE_ID, FILE_NAME, FILE_TYPE, REFERENCE_ID) values (1, 'test-photo-1.jpg',  1,  1);
    insert into AA_FILES(FILE_ID, FILE_NAME, FILE_TYPE, REFERENCE_ID) values (2, 'test-xml-1.jpg',    2,  2);
    insert into AA_FILES(FILE_ID, FILE_NAME, FILE_TYPE, REFERENCE_ID) values (3, 'test-photo-2.jpg',  1,  2);
    -- The value file_type=1 immediately above was not in your original data, but seems to be what you meant.

    prompt =====  AA_TYPE Table:  =====

    insert into AA_TYPE(TYPE_ID, REFERENCE_TABLE) values (1, 'AA_FILETYPE_PHOTO');
    insert into AA_TYPE(TYPE_ID, REFERENCE_TABLE) values (2, 'AA_FILETYPE1');

    prompt =====  AA_FILETYPE1 Table:  =====

    insert into AA_FILETYPE1 (REFERENCE_ID, DATE_MODIFIED,                 SUMMARY,                                    TOTAL_VALUE)
           values           (1,           TO_DATE ('01-01-02', 'MM-DD-RR'), 'An XML file that has some information about something', '14');

    prompt =====  AA_FILETYPE_PHOTO Table:  =====

    insert into AA_FILETYPE_PHOTO (REFERENCE_ID, DATE_TAKEN,                 CAMERA_NUMBER, WEATHER_CONDITIONS, CONSULTANT_NAME)
                    values            (1,          TO_DATE ('01-01-01', 'MM-DD/RR'), 'abc123',      'rainy!',         'John Smith');
    insert into AA_FILETYPE_PHOTO (REFERENCE_ID, DATE_TAKEN,                 CAMERA_NUMBER, WEATHER_CONDITIONS, CONSULTANT_NAME)
                    values            (2,          TO_DATE ('01-01-02', 'MM-DD/RR'), 'def456',      'slightly cloudy',  'Jane Jones');
    commit;

    To give you my workplace, I'm applying in Application Express. A user has entered the number '3' the file_id (I'm not worried about the distinction between passing in the id_fichier and the name of the file, I just my application one application or the other).

    Now, run a query that will get related data which table it is stored in. I don't know the name of the table at design time, as that particular file may be of any type (each of which has a different table name). However, with a the file_id, I have a file_type (in aa_files) which refers to an entry in aa_type.

    I see. You could add even add new tables after this query is written. As long as the new table has a column named reference_id, and there is a line for the new table in aa_files, the following query should work.

    >

    select FILE_TYPE
    from AA_FILES
    where FILE_ID = 3

    I stored the name of the table, I need to ask for the rest of the data in aa_type at design time, so using the file_type value, I can get the name of reference_table:

    select REFERENCE_TABLE from AA_TYPE where FILE_TYPE = 1

    In the sample data, you have validated, Type_de_fichier = 2 on the 3rd row. I've changed that in my example 1 revised data.
    Be very careful that your explanation fits your data. You talk to people who know about your application, and it is very easy for them to be induced in error or confusion.

    Now the '1' is here that the first query would return. I would like to use a subquery to combine these two queries into a single (I think?). This second query would return "AA_FILETYPE_PHOTO", which is the reference table.

    So I have the reference table, which is a name of table to another table in my database. It contains the data that I'm actually looking for. I want it for this particular file (file_id 3), and in aa_files, I have a value of "reference_id", which refers to the respective line in the reference table. File_id 3, the reference_id is 2.

    select * from AA_FILETYPE_PHOTO
    where reference_id = 2

    If the above query gets me my final data.

    Now, I've been watching substitution values and bind variables, here's another way to explain what I want:

    Explanation step by step below is very useful. It would be more useful if each step uniquely and gavce movement results given the sample data and an example of setting (3 in this case)

    -- get the file_type from aa_files for the desired file
    EXEC :file_type := (select file_type from aa_files where file_id = 3);

    That we will call the step step (a) above.
    Step (a) sets: Type_de_fichier 1 (given my corrected sample data)

    -- get the reference table from aa_types using the file_type
    EXEC :reference_table := (select reference_table from aa_type where type_id = :file_type);

    That we will call the step step (b) above.
    (B) sets the stage: reference_table to 'AA_FILETYPE_PHOTO '.

    -- get the reference_id from aa_files for the desired file
    EXEC :reference_id := (select reference_id from aa_files where file_id = 3);

    That we will call the step step (c) above.
    (C) sets the stage: reference_id 2

    -- using the reference table and reference id for the desired file, get the rest of the data
    select * from :reference_table where reference_id = :reference_id;

    Not sure if this makes it more clear or not.

    Yes, it helps a lot.

    Basically I have a table full of table names. How do I write a query that pulls one of these table names and it then queries?

    You need SQL dynamic, because you can't hardcode a table name in the query that you normally would be.
    How dynamic SQL works normally (and the functioning of this example) are that the query is built by using a variable. In SQL * more (as shown below), you can simply use a variable substitution instead an identifier hardcoded, and that's what it takes to make the dynamic query from SQL * more resolves the substitution variables before sending the code for the compiler. I don't know much on the Apex, but I bet there's some way to do dynamic SQL in the Apex, too.
    So the dynamic part here should include step d, since you can't hardcode the name of the table in the query.
    Until we can step (d), then, did they to us to do the steps (a) and (b) to obtain this file name. In the example blelow, I used a separate, preliminary request to get the & table_name...
    Step (c) could be made in the main query, using a subquery or a join. However, I chose to step (c) in the preliminary motion, as well as steps (a) and (b), since it's the same table same step (a). In this way, step (d) must refer to a table.

    Here's (finally) how to make this work in SQL * more:

    ACCEPT     file_id     PROMPT     "Enter the file_id (a number, e.g. 3): "

    -- Preliminary Query, to set table_name

    COLUMN     reference_id_col     NEW_VALUE     reference_id
    COLUMN     table_name_col           NEW_VALUE     table_name

    SELECT  f.reference_id          AS reference_id_col
    ,     t.reference_table       AS table_name_col
    FROM      aa_files     f
    JOIN     aa_type          t     ON     f.file_type     = t.type_id
    WHERE     f.file_id     = &file_id
    ;

    --     Main Query

    SELECT  *
    FROM     &table_name
    WHERE      reference_id     = &reference_id
    ;

    The results, account required to the data from the sample I posted above, and the & file_id 3, are:

    `                      CAMERA_    WEATHER_        CONSULTANT_
    REFERENCE_ID DATE_TAKE NUMBER     CONDITIONS      NAME
    ------------ --------- ---------- --------------- ---------------
               2 01-JAN-02 def456     slightly cloudy Jane Jones

  • Insert row into table 2D retaining the previous values

    Amendment of data entered in a 2D array and also displayed a table. When the time rolls 3 columns of data are held and then created line. Problem is the line moves downwards, but the previous data is not stored. I tried using shift register, but that only auto markings lines table to fill as the iteration of the loop. Looks like a basic really simple problem but going round in circles on this one there...

    In this case, the function 'Replace table subset' is what is needed to replace the last values in line with the current values of the user interface.

    On the evolution of the time, an addition occurs.

    An update of the VI is attached.

  • Block of data to be inserted using the class SqlBulkCopy - constructor type not found System.Data.DataColumn

    I am using the SQLBulkCopy class methods for bulk inserts data into a PostgreSQL RDBMS. Think "table grapes." I'm basically buffer a lot of data to be inserted when a task is completed, rather than constantly doing transactional inserts have a lot more overhead.

    To do this, I use the SqlBulkCopy(DataTable table) method as the IDataReader objects and DataRow have no public constructors in LabVIEW. Here's my current implementation:

    But it fails with this error:

    The VI is attached for reference. Any ideas (or alternative bulk insert) would be appreciated.
