tablespace expdp 10g default ORA-31626 31633 - ORA ORA-06512 ORA-06512 ORA-01647

Hello

I have currently a database 10g running on a server, AIX, one of its tablespace (CTSPRODDOC) data files located in two places;

1 /doc/ctsproddoc.dbf

2 /image/ctsproddoc_01.dbf

As he tried to export the tablespace for help after a command;

Directory of cts/cts expdp = tablespaces dumpfile = CTSPRODDOC.dmp dmpdir1 = CTSPRODDOC

It fails with following error messages;

ORA-31626: there is no job

ORA-31633: could not create the main table 'CTSPRODDOC. SYS_EXPORT_TABLESPACE_05 ".

ORA-06512: at "SYS." DBMS_SYS_ERROR', line 95

ORA-06512: at "SYS." "KUPV$ FT", line 863

ORA-01647: tablespace "CTSPRODDOC" is read-only, cannot allocate space inside

I was able to export a different tablespace with success of the same database to the same directory. But I'm unable to export CTSPRODDOC.

Can someone please advise.

Thank you

Hem

Hello

I suspect that the default tablesapce for the user of the CTS is CTSPRODDOC. You can change this something else? or do some export under a different name that has a different default tablespace?

See you soon,.

  • [10g XE] ORA-01652... Can I change the tablespace?

    My apologies if the questions to ask to seem silly... I'm not used to manage a database; I'm really only familiar with a database query, but I XE (10g) installed on my local machine as my test environment, and I came across a problem today that I have not been able to understand yet on my own like...

    There, I created a username for me to use, so I wasn't just connecting as sys all the time. (I hear this is a bad thing, but for a small test environment of XE, I don't know how important that is.) Earlier this morning, I tried to create a table such as selecting a remote (via a database link) when I got an ORA-01652 error. He said, 'impossible to extend segment by 1028 temp in the SYSTEM tablespace. I didn't know why he tried to use the SYSTEM tablespace, but I took a peek, and it turns out that all the tables I have create under my username gets stuck in the SYSTEM tablespace.

    I did some research and found:
    CREATE TABLESPACE mytbs1
    DATAFILE '/u01/oracle/data/mytbs01.dbf' SIZE 500M
    EXTENT MANAGEMENT LOCAL
    SEGMENT SPACE MANAGEMENT AUTO;
    to create a tablespace, so I did that, it's 1 GB, but then I couldn't figure out how to make my username use always this tablespace.

    Also, I saw that I have a file temp.dbf, which is only 20 MB, and I wanted to make sure that my user name that was used as its temp tablespace, so I found this piece of code:
    ALTER USER <user_account> SET TEMPORARY TABLESPACE <temp_tbsp>
    and tried to use it for my temp temp tablespace, but I got ORA-00922: missing or invalid option (with SET indicated that the problem).

    In addition, moreover, if I find that 20 MB is not big enough for my temp space, how to extend that?

    Thanks in advance!

    Search for the correct syntax in the SQL reference manual. (Lose 'SET').

    Get used to using textbooks.
    You can memorize the syntax for the commands and features that you use every day, but there's always a lot of things you do only from time to time. (You'll probably be creating or editing users only from time to time.)

    Are what OS you on.

    On Windows server, it may be that the user cannot write to this directory because of the restrictions of the user.
    The error is generated because he wants to write a log file to the location of the DIRECTORY.

    Check also if UTL_FILE_DIR includes the directory entry (post its value here)

    Workaround solution:

    -Move the file to another directory and work from there

  • Transport of Tablespaces in 10g

    Hello

    I want to carry a complete database of one OS to the other. I can't use RMAN CONVERT DATABASE because the endian format are different. I do with expdp and impdp.

    One of the most important restrictions is that I can't carry the system tablespace and it is obviuos according to the naturalness of this procedure.

    The important question is... I want to keep everything for transport statistics. With the old export & import utility, we had a setting to control this problem but with Data Pump, I do not see a similar setting...

    Thank you

    Hello

    By default the Datapump export records statistics. Extract from the book of public services , you can find this explanation:

    STATISTICS
    This parameter is ignored because statistics are always saved for tables as part of a Data Pump export operation.

    Otherwise, it is possible to export/import statistics using the DBMS_STATS package too:

    http://download.Oracle.com/docs/CD/E11882_01/server.112/e16638/stats.htm#PFGRF94753

    Hope this helps.

  • Recovery of the space in a file of data/tablespace in 10g

    We have a tablespace of 30 GB, made up of 15 data files of 2 GB each. However, there are only 5 GB of data in the tables within this space of tables.

    This occurred because the database kept growing (so the new data files have been added) until it was discovered that a single journal table occupied almost all the space. When this table was truncated, he left more space free, but "fragmented" across all 15 files given.

    I'm trying to reclaim the space in the data files to be able to go back to the OS (there is no reason to keep more than 7-8GB to this tablespace).

    From what I've read, the "alter table xxx move" command must relocate the tables to new segments to the 'before' of storage space, and then we should be able to delete the empty data in the end.

    However, when I run this command on a test table, nothing appears to change everything.

    I am running:

    ALTER table AAFDTCRC move;
    ALTER index RM. Regeneration of the PKAAFDTCRC;
    exec dbms_stats.gather_table_stats (ownname = > 'RM', tabname = > 'AAFDTCRC', estimate_percent = > null, method_opt = > 'for all THE COLUMNS of SIZE AUTO', degree = > 6);

    However, when I ask the dba_extents table, is to show the table always distributed in different data files. I use the "alter table" command incorrectly, or is the table dba_extents not up to date with new information?

    Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

    user11198894 wrote:
    Measure sizes might be a problem. Looks like that the previous data files use a size smaller than those created after measure. And I have naven can't able to find much information about what "alter table... move" when a tablespace has more than one data file. Maybe it does work in this situation?

    You will not be able to reduce the number of files in a tablespace; so if that's your goal, you will need to create a new tablespace and move objects inside. In addition, you will not be able to avoid a performance impact, unless you use the dbms_redefinition package to move tables because the MOVE command makes the unavailable table and requires you to rebuild indexes.

    There is a note that I wrote some time back - with a pointer to a helpfuil script - which gives you a few ideas of how Oracle behaves with management space with multiple files when you move objects: http://jonathanlewis.wordpress.com/2010/02/06/shrink-tablespace/

    If you want to keep the same tablespace you can try something roughly like this:

    Run my script to report on the current use of space
    Reduce as much as possible all the files
    Move objects more big are reaching the end of the files
    Repeat as necessary to step 1

    The explanation of the error posted by Aman (which you could have gotten for yourself) is quite explicit.

    Rather than SHRINK TABLESPACE, you should RESIZE the underlying data files.  You will not be able to resize below the HWM.

    Have you checked other values of 378 score very carefully. (Normally) you get the error message means that the value exists somewhere else already.
    You could also point out the high_value_length, just in case where the high_value isn't really what it looks like (e.g. some backspaces hide certain content).
