Tabs to go to the new window when I don't want what it

When I work with pages (tabs) they suddenly in a new window when I don't want it. It only started doing this recently. Don't know if it's a upgrade, or because of a certain add-on thing.

If you select a tab, you move the mouse? By dragging a tab opens in a new window. I don't have this problem because I use a trackball, but which can be difficult to avoid when using a mouse.

New tabs always appear in the new window - how to change back?

Just upgraded to FF4. Now, when I try to open links in a new tab (by Ctrl-click), they always open in a new window. Subsequent links also open in the new window, so I have to have two windows open, rather than to have just all tabs in a single window.

SOLVED after restarting. I could not mark my answer as a solution for some reason any.
1. Press Alt + T
2. Click on Options
3. Click on the category tabs
4. Check the option "open new windows in new tabs instead of this"

I want to change the placement of the order to open it in a new tab and open in the new window on FF4.0 on OSX, please.

FF3.x, right-clicking on a link gives you open in a new window and open in a new tab in that order. In FF4.x, this order was reversed. Under Mac OS x, is it possible to change this order in a resource editor?
I tried to watch the bandages, but I don't know what we call this contextual set of options, so I apologize if this has been answered before.

I wrote an application to mobile scan...

For speed, I have a dynamic action when you press on enter the barcode... He called pl/sql and then updates a region.

There are no branches or process page on this... only a process of pre-charge to create a collection

I did a lot of pages in it... last page... that I work... continue to submit when I press on enter on the question. When submit enter pressed is unchecked.

The question is not set to submit to enter...

I disabled my dynamic action and the page keeps submitting

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

now, it kind of works that im having the problem is that when I hit the random button it puts the male sex and selects random h_female not the h_male auto
I could be wrong, but I think it's the (this.getField("gender").value = "Male") written in the kind of field instead of read? If yes how can I fix

When I have 4 or 5 tabs open, by selecting one of them often force this tab to open in a new window and close the original window

FF 32.0.1. Move between the tabs that are already open, clicking on which I opened before forced to close and open in a new window, which is a real pain. It seems to happen when I have 4 or 5 tabs open, rather than 2 or 3.

Only, this happened last week, once reinstalled a clean Windows.

I searched and found a lot of people have problems with the new windows that open when they want just a new tab, but this seems to be on the opening of the fresh rather than return to already open tabs, so I can't find the same problem I describe.

Everytime I open a new Firefox window, the new window opens to the page of hope (as I want him), but then a tab opens with the new window. I want Firefox to stop doing this. When I open a new window I want just the window to open it. I don't know how to solve this problem I've known idea how I did that happen. First of all, it happened when I hit Ctrl + N to open a new window, but I did not hit the "N" itself. I pressed one of the other keys around the "N" and this issue has started.

Whenever I try to open a new tab, it opens a new window instead. As one allows an example say I have my e-mail address on the Startup tab but want to Watch youtube vids on another tab, normally I can just right click Open in new tab without problem, it will stay on the same window. Now when I try to do that it opens a new window instead. Even if I click on the + sign next to the tab that normally opens another tab. This started after I downloaded the latest update last night (may have came a day or two ago I have the bad habit of putting it off for a day or two). I have not changed any settings before or after the update. I can drag the new window to the starting as a tab window but any tab that I try to do this will also result in a new window instead.

I'm running FF 14.0.1 and the problem has persisted through a number of versions.

Initially FF will open new tabs... CTRL + t work, do a right click to open in a tab etc all work fine. Sometimes the tabs are now question and I can get maybe 20 or open several tabs. And then other times we seem to be an arbitrary limit, say 5 tabs, and then each new tab opens a new window. No external link opens in a new window, a Ctrl + t opens in a new window, all new windows are the only image, for example, you can have a number of windows each tell 5 tabs, just the original (for example) window 5 and then a series of windows with only unique pages in each, and which Ctrl + t doesn't open a new window.

A full restart sometimes heals things and I can go back to have different pages in different tabs and then something... without obvious motive... launch us in the "new window only" mode after what even if I reduce the number of tabs in the original window many tabs, Ctrl + t opens only new windows.

He's really starting to happen to me... I have searched the technical support information and wonder about a full reset or even uninstall and reinstall. places.SQLite is verified as valid and I also, have it reindexed all to no effect.

Try Firefox Safe mode to see how it works there.

A way of solving problems, which disables most of the modules.

(If you use it, switch to the default theme).
- You can open the mode without failure of Firefox 4.0 + by pressing the SHIFT key when you use the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
- Or use the Help menu option, click restart with the disabled... modules while Firefox is running.
Do not choose anything at the moment, just use 'continue in safe mode.

To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before using the shortcut of Firefox (without the Shift key) to open it again.

If it's good in Firefox Safe mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to understand that one.

It is the characteristic of tear-off/detachable tabs in Firefox. A small downward movement when clicking on a tab can cause the tab to rip and in a new window. You can drag the tab in the window of the new window origin.
