  Also if when you installed MS Office you decided at the time you had no need of Power Point and chose not to install it. You find out later you need to make a Power Point presentation, insert the Office CD and try installing PowerPoint and it causes an error.

  The tool using Windows Installer Cleanup will remove damaged installation files (located in C:\Windows\Installer). You then install Office and Power Point, once more, as they are not more present in the list of programs in the Add/Remove Control Panel. But at least this time Office and Power Point will install without errors as the Windows Installer Cleanup utility did what it was designed to do.

  The unfortunate side effect of the cleanup tool is when you select and delete software that works correctly you then will no longer be able to install this software because it is no longer in the Add/Remove Programs list.

  Now as to why there is so many files in the C:\Windows\Installer:
  You will find lots of them. MSI files belong to software such as Java, Microsoft .NET Framework software AV, Norton Ghost, file downloaded during a Windows Update session and so on. It would seem that some software will clean up after itself and deletions, this is the file that were in the folder C:\Windows\Installer. Windows Update failure will create and leave the folders and files behind every time that you try to install the update and so you could end up with a large number of files taking up disk space.

  It could also be a lot of files (is most needed) orphans.
  If you still have the original Windows Installer Cleanup utility, and then by using the msizap (msizap g!) command removes all cached Windows Installer data files that have been orphaned.

  I need the menu bar to open the submenu above the parent element.

  Here´s what I did: I inserted a spry menu bar and the only css change I did was one shown below in red "botom: 2em;"

  It works exactly as I need - in Safari, Firefox and Opera.

  However, in IE6 the submenu appears well below the parent element. Is there a solution?

  Perhaps.  It is difficult to say without seeing your page, however.

  The position of Spry menu bar submenus is controlledby the margin on submenu ul tags property.

  1. Locate the ul. MenuBarVertical ul or ul. Rule MenuBarHorizontalul.
  2. Change the margin:-5% 0 0 95%; default values the values you want.

  In addition, browse the CSS for IE hacks coments. Often, these workarounds for older browsers may be commented or removed.  Test before you remove anything permanently.

• How do you take off the case of installation of memory for U205-S5002?

  I was wondering how do you take off the case for this particular model for a while. I have not met these at my work as a technician, I mainly deal with HPs and valleys, but Toshiba is far the best laptop so I bought it I'm not sure how becoming apart if I install new memory chips live.

  Help would be greatly appreciated. A link to a couple diagrams would be perfect, but the directions would be also greatly accepted.

  To remove the RAM module on the Satellite U200/U205 is not so problematic.   Parental control works only on a non-administrator account. First, you log on to your computer as an administrator. After this, please follow these steps to remove parental controls on your computer:
  1. If you set up Parental control by using the control panel
  a. click Start, type Parental controls, and then press ENTER.
  b. Select the user who is under parental control.
  c. Select disabled, and then click Ok.
  2. If you set up Parental controls with parental controls
  a. connect to http://familysafety.microsoft.com using the parent account.

  b. click Manage list of the members of the family.

  c. Select the child's account, and then click Remove. Click delete to confirm.

  d. open the parental controls on your computer client.

  e. on the upper right side of the parental control window, click the icon to get the latest settings from the Web site .

  f. you can also uninstall parental in case you do not have access to the account that is used to configure the settings. You can follow the steps in this link.

  It could happen because of the USB 1.1 of your old motherboard version. But your compatible USB 2.0 device & back USB 1.0 compatible with reduced performance mode. So, if the devices work, then just ignore the message.

  Also make sure your Win XP has at least service pack 2 installed.

  To find your version of Win XP:

  Start > run > type "winver" (only the text within the quotation)

  Reading the dialog box for the Windows version, subversion of copyright, Service pack etc.

  Before Windows XP SP2, the OS had no compatibility issue for the USB 2.0 device.

  Hopefully this will solve your problem.

  My default Treo Pro with putting lock during a telephone conversation, which is usually a good idea, but there are times that I would like to unlock it so I can turn on the speaker, or put notes. Is it possible to do during a call, on a situation from time to time? I was not able to find the solution in the User Guide.

  Keypad lock does not come on during a call to phone so I guess you're talking about the touch screen portion disable under settings keypad lock.

  Now you can't really change that on a per-call basis unless you do it before actually getting the call.

  On a second note, you can still navigate around the device with the pentadirectionnel navigation button, just highlight the speaker on and you press the logo palm (middle button) and you will choose.

  The screen touch disable is only present while in the application phone. In turn, you can press the windows key and select today, then your touchscreen is reactivated and you can start to use again until you go back into the phone application.
