Targeted LDP sessions

I have a question about targeted LDP sessions - as I in red MPLS Fundamentals book we can configure mpls ldp discovery targeted Hello parameter. Which makes me doubt this is - why we need discovery of the LDP for targeted session?

If I understand the function of discovery LDP is to discover LDP neighbor and get him information such as the ip transport to establish the LDP neighborship. But for the targeted session, we can define statically neighbor. So from my point of view I don't see reason to send messages of discovery between targeted neighbors - why not immediately establish neighborship?

Kind regards

Alexey,

LSR triggering a tLDP session must first understand or otherwise takes the remote side supported a targeted LDP session. To do this, DSL will be unicast Hello with R bit set. If it receives a response from the remote node, on to the next step in the creation of the session.

By my knowledge, it's a kind of security check that node unintented establish tLDP session and to avoid to try creating unsuccessful if neighbouring TCP session is not interested

HTH,

Mr. Nagendra

    Hello

    I had the problem on a router ASR 1000 with MPLS on DMVPN, which the LDP session is beating periodically aproximatelly every 3 minutes.

    The router is a DMVPN spoke with the 3.7S4 software. At the central site, I have a router ASR 1000 DMVPN hub with 3.7S1 software

    The router id of talks I (related to the loopback0) is 10.100.249.24, hub-router id is 10.100.255.110.

    We run OSPF on the tunnel interface and the neighborship ospf is up and running - without flaps, no problem there.

    Here are the journals spoke:

    012742: 2 December 11:53:41.518 PUTS: % LDP-5-NBRCHG: LDP neighbor 10.100.255.110:0 (1) is in PLACE

    .... And so on.

    The central router probably really doesn't get the LDP keepalive messages:

    Time: 00:01:03

    Sources discovery LDP:

    Tunnel20, Src IP addr: 10.100.237.23

    The strange thing is that he has more than 27 (mixture of 7200, ASR 1000, SRI) routers connected to the central site, but only this one has problems.  I compared the configs and found no difference. I tried to close - no tunnel closed, no change in behavior.

    It's the strange, the problem disappeared for about 3 weeks without any reason, but it reappeared once the DMVPN tunnel interface went down and until recently.

    Someone at - it never more than this as well?

    What could be the cause?

    You have no idea where to look for troubleshooting?

    Thank you

    Alexander

    Hi Alexander,.

    I had a similar problem with the LDP, but not used DMVPN.

    Can be a problem in the MSS.

    You can capture traffic on the interface on the plant and the spoke routers.

    Thank you

    Alex

  • 1 single MPLS tunnel between routers directly connected. Traffic routes and others not?

    Hello

    I have a unusual problem, I can not explain.

    I have a simple scenario

    LAN1 = 4500 = OSPF = R1_6500 = OSPF = R2_6500 = tunnel mpls TE with Highway = R3_2900 = 1900 = LAN2

    1 enable MPLS TE tunnel between the Router R2 6500 and 2900 router

    2. everything is ok until I have activate the router R3 2900 highway. LAN1 can reach the printers in Lan2 via the web. ŒUVRES of ICMP in all CASES!, however, (172 bytes) ICMP packets generated by the Solarwinds network browser find only 30% of the Lan2 network...

    Once you turn off highway on 2900, it works normally...

    3. I have the implicit null label on 2900 and R2 6500 (if I activate highway on two tunnels), CEF seems to be ok, OSPF routes are present, however, some of the traffic simply does not pass through

    4. I have it fixed construction of a second tunnel of 2900 to 6500 R1 and it works well, but I don't understand what in fact behave this way?

    Hello Vadym,

    Perfect :)

    Why should I activate targeted Hello

    [Akash]

    Connected nondirectly MPLS LDP sessions

    The DSL is more than one bond of his neighbor, if non-connected directly to his neighbor. For these nondirectly neighbors connected, DSL text Hello targeted as a UDP packet, but as a message specifically addressed to this DSL unicast. DSL connected nondirectly meets the Hello message and the two routers are starting to establish an LDP session. This is the so-called scope of discovery.

    The default behavior of an LSR is to ignore the other DSL applications that send targeted messages to Hello. You can configure a DSL to meet the demands of targeted Hello messages by publishing the discovery ldp targeted Hello mpls accept small order.

    Why do you think that the LSP is broken, if we do not use the LDP

    [Akash]  If LDP is not enabled on the tunnel, R2 will not any label R3 on the tunnel interface broadcast and R3 sends the traffic untagged to R2 [only rsvp label which is implicit null], and ip lookup will happen on R2, so this is not end-to-end LSP. If ip loopup happening on the router of the base, I would say that LSP is broken here. But if LDP is enabled on the tunnel, R2 will announce a local label R3 more targeted LDP session. L3 will send labeled package [implicit null for RSVP, label IGP announced by R2] R2 and R2 will make label swapping and send traffic to R1. All the way labels switching and LSP is intact.

    If it would have been scenario L3vpn, traffic would have been blackholed on router core cases get end of tunnel. In your case all core routers have routes with destination so accessibility is there but LSP divided again.

    Kind regards

    the Member of 4100 not showing this info, all connected to the 6100 Member?

    side esxi 5.5 its projection lost way, restoration of path error messages

    clues

    Hello Dan,.

    This first message is normal, because this is a message of level INFO, not WARN or ERROR.  It only means that a connection has been disconnected so that it can be moved to another port in the group.   I suspect that you run MEM?   Who's going to move, start, stop to need iSCSI sessions to hold the input/output symmetrical on the ports available on the berries.

    ESXi 5.x will always report any kind of connection as an error problem.  Even when he is projected as here.  EQL uses a mandatory iSCSI command under the title "async logout" say disconnect the iSCSI initiator then go to discovery and connect immediately.  However, this time it will be moved to another port on a table.   MEM regularly consults the current connections and may decide to change the layout of the connection.

    The 6100 is probably the head of the group.  So it stores and displays all messages from all members of the group.  Buried in the text it can show you that some are from the 4100.

    The other message on the "6 sec timeout" is different.  This means that, during this period, the table failed this server.  Periodically, initiator and Exchange EQL keep packages of persistent delay.  (KATO for short).   This is so that the two are always answer.  If it fails repeatedly, this message appears and the connection is complete.  Once the initiator (server) is back, he will open a new iSCSI session to replace.   You see this message when you restart a server, or there are problems with the network.

    If you are really interested, you can open a case of pension with Dell.  Please gather the diags table (all members), config switch logs, and supports the VM node ESXi.   They can check this info and verity that the configuration is OK.    They can examine the nodes ESXI to ensure they are in compliance with the best practices with Dell's best practices.   There is a Tech report.   TR1091 that covers this.

    You can find a copy here.

    en.Community.Dell.com/.../Download

    Many problems have been resolved by choosing ESXi for current construction, set up in accordance with this document and Sunrise switches to spec as well.

    Make sure also that the EQL table running 6.0.7 or later.  Running current firmware is much better.  Earlier than 6.0.7 saw potential for corruption VMFS Datastore.  Therefore, it is very important to keep up-to-date.

  • Engine session and export in binary form

    I seem to have a binary export problem when the script uses the targetengine session. I tried to work through the examples of export to Xhtml, but have had no luck. If someone could point me in the right direction that would be appreciated, or if it is not possible to save me the time to try to get to work.

    Here is an example of a simple dialog box that works like a jsx but not a jsxbin.

    #target indesign
    #targetengine "session"
    if(app.documents.length != 0){
    var myDialog = new Window('palette','Starting Pg No');
        myDialog.dPgNo = myDialog.add('panel',undefined,'File details');
        myDialog.dPgNo.alignChildren = 'left';
        myDialog.dPgNo.myPgNo = myDialog.dPgNo.add('group');
        myDialog.dPgNo.myPgNo.myGroup = myDialog.dPgNo.myPgNo.add('group');
        myDialog.dPgNo.btnGroup = myDialog.dPgNo.add('group');
        with (myDialog.dPgNo){
            myPgNo.myGroup.orientation = 'column';
            myPgNo.myGroup.alignChildren = 'right';
            myPgNo.myGroup.preferredSize = [90,15];
            myPgNo.myGroup.st  = myPgNo.myGroup.add('statictext',undefined,'Your Doc starting page is:');
            myPgNo.et = myPgNo.add('edittext', undefined, app.activeDocument.pages[0].name)
            btnGroup.btn = btnGroup.add('button', undefined, 'Update');
            btnGroup.alignment = 'right';
        }
    myDialog.show();

    myDialog.dPgNo.btnGroup.btn.onClick = function() {
        var myPagestart = myDialog.dPgNo.myPgNo.et.text;
        myDialog.close();
        if (app.activeDocument.pages[0].name != myPagestart){
            app.activeDocument.pages[0].appliedSection.continueNumbering = false;
            app.activeDocument.pages[0].appliedSection.pageNumberStart = parseInt(myPagestart);
            app.activeDocument.pages[0].appliedSection.sectionPrefix = "";
            alert("Your document start page has been changed to "+myPagestart+".");
        }
    myDialog.show();
    }
    }else{
        alert("Please open a document and try again.");
        }

    Hi John,.

    Create a folder in your Indesign Scripts folder Panel, lets call him myaccount.

    In this case, let's put two files, the first is your script as a binary file, the second is a charger as jsx file.

    Following should be pasted in ESTK and exported in the form of jsxbin, save the file in myFolder as myScript.jsxbin:

    app.scriptPreferences.userInteractionLevel = UserInteractionLevels.interactWithAll;
    If (app.documents.length! = 0) {}
    var myDialog = new window ("palette", "From Pg" no);
    myDialog.dPgNo = myDialog.add ('panel', undefined, 'File Details');
    myDialog.dPgNo.alignChildren = 'left ';
    myDialog.dPgNo.myPgNo = myDialog.dPgNo.add ('group');
    myDialog.dPgNo.myPgNo.myGroup = myDialog.dPgNo.myPgNo.add ('group');
    myDialog.dPgNo.btnGroup = myDialog.dPgNo.add ('group');
    with (myDialog.dPgNo) {}
    myPgNo.myGroup.orientation = "column";
    myPgNo.myGroup.alignChildren = 'right ';
    myPgNo.myGroup.preferredSize = [90.15];
    myPgNo.myGroup.st = myPgNo.myGroup.add ("statictext', undefined,' Doc your start page is :');")
    myPgNo.et = myPgNo.add ('edittext', not defined, app.activeDocument.pages [0] .name)
    btnGroup.btn = btnGroup.add ('button', undefined, 'Update');
    btnGroup.alignment = 'right ';
    }
    myDialog.show ();

    myDialog.dPgNo.btnGroup.btn.onClick = function() {}
    var myPagestart = myDialog.dPgNo.myPgNo.et.text;
    myDialog.close ();
    If (app.activeDocument.pages [0] .name! = myPagestart) {}
    app.activeDocument.pages [0].appliedSection.continueNumbering = false;
    app.activeDocument.pages [0].appliedSection.pageNumberStart = parseInt (myPagestart);
    app.activeDocument.pages [0].appliedSection.sectionPrefix = "";
    Alert ("your start page of document has been changed to" + myPagestart + ".");
    }
    myDialog.show ();
    }
    } else {}
    Alert ("Please open a document and try again.");
    }

    Following should be pasted in ESTK and saved in the jsx form, save the file in myFolder as myLoader.jsx:

    indesign #target
    #targetengine "session".
    var myScript = loadScript ("myScript.jsxbin");
    If (myScript! = undefined) {}
    Run it
    eval (MyScript);
    }

    function getScriptsFolderPath() {}
    try {}
    script var = app.activeScript;
    } catch (e) {}
    We are short of the ESTK
    script var = line (e.fileName);
    }
    Return script.path + ' / ';.
    }

    function loadScript (filename) {}
    var file = File (filename + getScriptsFolderPath ());

    script var = not defined;
    If (file.exists) {}
    leader. Open ();
    script = file.read ();
    leader. Close();
    } else {}
    Alert ("unable to locate the file:" + filename);
    Exit();
    }
    We return the script rather than the eval() here calls
    because the results of eval() are only valid in the
    scope of the function that called eval()
    return of script;
    }

    Now just open Indesign and run the myLoader.jsx script and it should work.

    External calls (phone > voice/VXML GW > GK > CVP) do not use DSP resources when in q e-mail plays GW, which is good.

    What I'm trying to understand is why DSP resource is used when the call is delivered to the phone?

    When I change my config GK to direct the call directly to phone no dsp resource is used.

    Michael,

    Looks like you are using a resource of PSG where he shouldn't. Check your gateway CVP device in CCM. You do not want PSG checked on this device, otherwise each call transferred out of CVP will use a PSG.

    Instead what you want to do is to create a new and distinct GK-controlled trunk. Activate the PSG on the trunk. Create a routing model in MAC which tip calls from IP phone to CVP to this trunk GK-controlled. So * only * the IP-phone calls came from will have to use a PSG and normal call of the CVP to CCM will not transfer. Tip: on the configuration screen road in CCM, make sure that you add a # 2 to the number otherwise the call will never happen to the CVP. You need not put a zone prefix in the GA if you precede the # 2 as the GK automatically finds CVP since it saves by default with the prefix # 2 tech.

    Hello world

    Thank you for taking the time to read my post.

    Using the ISO version 12.4 (13r) T11

    I have setup an IPSEC tunnel between my cisco 2821 and UBNT device.  The LAN side 2821 is 10.0.1.x and the LAN side UBNT is 10.0.2.x.  The internet is in the middle.

    Since the ubnt device, they can access everything on the 10.0.1.x network, but 10.0.1.x cannot access anything on the 10.0.2.x network.  IM thinking I have not missed any statement nat somewhere...  but where?

    Hello

    you have problem with ACL:

    you need to do it this way: because recommend Cisco ACL must be mirror on both sides.

    access-list 101 permit ip 10.0.1.0 0.0.0.255 10.0.2.0 0.0.0.255
    No access list 101 didn't allow ip 10.0.2.0 0.0.0.255 10.0.1.0 0.0.0.255

    and

    No access list 100 deny ip 10.0.2.0 0.0.0.255 10.0.1.0 0.0.0.255

    When you use pure IPSEC a site not of GRE over IPSEC, then you need allowed ESP not Grateful

    No access list 184 allow accord a

    access-list 184 allow esp a whole

    the latest Cisco recommends for no. - nat with road-map:

    IP nat inside source map of route No.-nat interface GigabitEthernet0/0 overload

    route map no - naallowed t 10

    corresponds to the IP 100

    Kind regards

    Thank you.

    Can stick us to the standard terminology of APEX: do you mean Parent (level 2) tab or the tab Standard (level 2)?

    Parent tabs this is done directly using the box Erase the Cache property and reset pagination for this page of the tab target.

    For the Standard tabs, create processes from before header tab target:

  • Session state > clear Cache...

  • Reset the Pagination

  • [JS] CS3 ScriptUI - progress bar

    Hello

    I know I'm late to the game with ScriptUI in CS3, but I would use a progress bar with some of my scripts any longer.

    I read through the relevant part of the guide to script, but can't seem to get things to work, the guide seems to refer to a script that is not in the file.

    Can anyone offer some simple tips on what to do, or point me in the direction of a script that uses this feature that I can pull out and use?

    Thanks in advance,

    Roy Marshall

    Roy, download the SDK from Adobe Bridge CS3 and watch SnpCreateProgressBar.jsx example. This should help.

    Here's a quick example will create a doc Virgin 100pg:

    indesign #target
    #targetengine "session".
    var myDialog = new window ("palette", "ProgressBar");
    myDialog.btn = myDialog.add ('button', undefined, "that there is a progress bar.");

    var myProgressPanel;
    var myMaximumValue = 100;
    var myProgressBarWidth = 300;
    var myIncrement = myMaximumValue/myProgressBarWidth;

    myProgressPanel = new window ('window', 'Progress');
    {with (myProgressPanel)}
    myProgressPanel.myProgressBar = Add ("progressbar", [12, 12, myProgressBarWidth, 24], 0, myMaximumValue);
    }

    myDialog.btn.onClick = function () {}
    myDocument var = app.documents.add ();
    myDialog.close ();
    addlotsofpages();

    }

    function addlotsofpages() {}

    myProgressPanel.show ();

    for (var myCounter = 0; myCounter< 99;="" mycounter="">

    myProgressPanel.myProgressBar.value = myCounter/myIncrement;
    App.Documents.Item (0) .pages. Add();
    if(MyCounter == 100) {}
    myProgressPanel.myProgressBar.value = 0;
    myProgressPanel.hide ();
    }
    }
    myProgressPanel.close ();
    Alert ('Done');

    }

    myDialog.show ();

  • Session connection problem target MD3000i

    I have a MD3000i connected to 2 iSCSI SW.

    When you add the connection at the Session of Targe, only one NET sub appears in the drop target portal.

    My IP is:

    10.23.250.1 and 10.23.250.2

    10.23.251.1 and 10.23.250.2

    BTW, it's in Windows 2 K 3 64-bit.

    Thank you!

  • Do not get data in the target after the beginning of the session.

    Hello

    I applied the filter. source and target table are Oracle database tables. Source have data. Target of no data. I chose insert, update, commit as true in the properties of the target. Eventhough

    After the execution, I do not receive data in the tables of the target. Please check below the images.

    Thanks in advance,

    A.Kavya.

    err2.png

    Hello

    Screen capture, I see you used LKM as well. Then, probably, you can start by consulting the table loading step $ CAN to see how many rows were loaded into C$ source table.

    If you have data in C$ then next step would be to check the data loaded in I$ table. I can see screenshots that you set the false Frother so that your data can not go to E$. PS please check where your data falls to C$ I $ loading.

    You can restart the interface and you can set the property 'drop of temporary objects' false so that C$ I $ table not deleted and are there for analysis.

    It will be useful.

    Thank you

    but when im trying to execute commands remotely I get:

    Runtime error: the session is not authenticated.

    A suggestion?

    In this post, I answered my second question, and I think

    Re: vMA 5.5 error: cannot add users.

  • I'm fed up with Firefox, I can't seem to restore my previous session. I'm ininstalling it.

    I keep trying to put Firefox to "show my windows and tabs from last time", but he continues to show this http://search.us.com/v/2/?guid={A665B7FB-CC63-4DF6-A03A-AE7DF57CDAF0} when I start. I'm fed up. I uninstall

    I think it's because of software (adware or virus) on your computer or Web sites you visit. Many of these change home pages without the consent of the user as a way to aggressive advertising or people of the scam. Generally, these target your browser by default, so even if you go to Maxthon, you might get some problem. To avoid this, you must use anti-virus software to find viruses and adware, then remove them.

    Even with the adware you can probably always restore your previous session by clicking on the "Firefox" > 'History' > ' restore previous Session ' (or 'History' > 'restoration of previous Session"If you do not have the"Firefox"button).

  • Closing of individual sessions (while leaving other Open Sessions/windows)

    Firefox 14.0.1; Windows XP Pro SP3 (8 GB of RAM)

    I usually run several sessions/windows. (There may be several tabs in each window/session.)

    Lately when closing session/owners - either with the file | Output or "X"-close ALL sessions/windows, not only the one targeted. "." It is annoying and non-compliant. It is a relatively new problem; Another reason I resist "revaluation". Thank you.

    In Firefox, you normally have only one session; This session can have multiple windows. (In order to run simultaneously over a session, you must create multiple folders settings and use a special command line switch to separate sessions).

    Output means certainly leave Firefox completely. However, using the Red Cross should affect only this single window (the caveat against the closure of several tabs should list the number of tabs in this window). I don't know why yours gives you the same results as the output. Maybe an add-on?

    A standard diagnosis for issues of the add-on is to try Mode without failure of Firefox.

    First of all, I recommend you backup your Firefox settings in case something goes wrong. See back up and restore the information contained in the profiles of Firefox. (You can copy your profile folder Firefox together somewhere outside the Mozilla folder).

    Then restart Firefox in Mode safe (questions to troubleshoot Firefox in Safe Mode) of Firefox help

    Help > restart with disabled modules

    In the Safe Mode dialog box, do not check the boxes, just click "continue mode without failure."

    Any changes in red X behavior?
