  No, you can't. If something is using data on an iDEN connection, that's all. That's all it will do. It's just the nature of identity. If you want a phone that will have voice and data communications at the same time, you need to use CDMA or GSM.

  Thanks it worked perfectly for me!  Sorry, your options appear on the screen for you, but they did it for me.

  Just make sure you change your new router wireless to the first WAP and it should work fine.  No need to reinstall any software or drivers as some previous posts said.

  Go to: network, Wireless Setup Assistant, (I had to scroll down to the second page to find where to enter my new network name) and enter the new network name configured on the router.  I changed my network name of the WAP2 name that I had originally put in place, so it was easier to distinguish that one has on the WAP.  Enter your WAP password and you should be good to go.

• Empty Connections window network and could not start the network connections service

  Problems with Verizon router and during diagnosis discovered that the network connections window is empty (found by clicking on change settings for the network and sharing Center map).  We are currently connected to the Internet with the new router and Ethernet cable, but the cannot connect wireless (what we could do before) - apparently not to display icons in N.C. window is not necessary to have connections.  Found a reference to the network connections service and check it is running as a solution to the window being blank.  The service is not running, and when I try to launch it I get "Error 1083: the executable program that this service is configured to run in does not implement this service."

  I've seen a lot of suggestions on fixes for the problem of the empty window.  I did the sfc /scannnow and found no problem.  I tried to update the network adapter driver, but it was very good.  None of the solutions seemed appropriate perfectly adapted to this situation.  Is this really a problem?  Any suggestions on what to do about it?  We are about to use an USB adapter until our connection speed and I want to make sure that everything works first.  Thanks for any help.

  I have two routers and want to build two IPSec encapsulated between them, with the help of ASIT tunnel interfaces.

  The interaces two tunnel would in that case the same source and destination ip addresses.

  With a single tunnel interface defined, it works well, however, as soon as the second tunnel interface is defined, the first breaks down.

  Hi Frank,.

  As a general rule, you cannot have two interfaces of tunnel with the same tunnel source (series 1/0) and destinations (10.1.1.6) tunnel; with the same method (ipv4) tunel.

  The work around that would be to bounce one of the tunnels on a loopback interface.

  This tunnel 1: tunnel_interface_1 - series 1/0---internet---10.1.1.6

  and tunnel 2: tunnel_interface_2---loopback---serial1/0---internet---10.1.1.6

  In this way the two tunnels can be up at the same time.

  If clearing cookies doesn't help, then it is possible that the cookies.sqlite file that stores the cookies is corrupted.

  Rename (or delete) cookies.sqlite (cookies.sqlite.old) and delete cookies.sqlite - journal and cookies.txt, if they exist, in the profile folder in case the cookies.sqlite file has been corrupted.

  I have a similar problem after the most recent update of Windows. My IPv4 network properties manually configured outside the range of the DHCP from my router. This is so that I do not receive IP addresses different natted attributed to my computer.

  After the update of Windows, the IP address of the GATEWAY is cleared after each restart of the operating system.

  If you use the manual IP settings, check to see if this can happen to you.

• Firewall PIX to connect to router - link light not on

  I'm trying to connect the PIX501 firewall to our router (router PortMaster) to test the external connection but light not on port 0.

  I used the crossover cable (also try normal cable), also to reboot the router. After the reboot, the light becomes on for a very short time (10 or 20 seconds) and then turned off and never more.

  Anyone know what happened? Any suggestions are welcome.

  Are the PIX or router interfaces to close? If this isn't the case, which are then they fixed on duplex speed? If it has a value of 10, the other 100, they won't come to the top.

  If they do not resolve, try another device on each port (501 and router) to check the status.

• OfficeJet 7410 does not connect via WiFi and will not scan

  I don't know if this post is in the right place, but here goes:

  I have a 7410 OfficeJet that was connected to my home network so that I could print/scanning wireless to it from any computer in the House.  It worked well for a while.  I am running Windows XP SP 3.

  We lost power for a few days during the hurricane (Fortunately it was our one central issue), and when the power was restored the 7410 wouldn't connect to the wireless network (we have FiOS).  I checked the unit identifies the correct system ID (and I entered the WEP key), but when I try to install from the desktop computer, it can not find the 7410 (laptop computer also was not able to find the 7410).  The only way I could get the desktop to detect the 7410 is to connect it to the router with an ethernet cable (it does not work with the laptop).  I also can't connect to the wireless printer if I put the IP address in my browser (I'm able to do when it's connected via ethernet).  Not sure if it is a firewall issue.

  When the 7410 is connected to the router with the ethernet cable, I could print to it without any problems.  However, I can't scan from it.  When I try to scan, I get the error message "when trying to scan, could not find the required user interface file (Please reinstall scanning software).  I uninstalled and reinstalled the HP software, but I still get this message.  I also followed the instructions here: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00516936 but that has not solved the problem.

  This morning, I uninstalled the printer with the hope that, put it back in place could solve the problem of scanning, but now the computer is not able to find the printer, even if it is connected by ethernet.

  I hope I gave enough information.  Ideas/comments/suggestions would be appreciated.

  I think I see what's happening. You just need to reestablish the connection to the printer wireless. The document below should help you with that. Once you have done so, the software shouldn't have a problem connecting to the wireless printer.
