I tried your methods, but still did not work. In the meantime, I did a full restore to two partitions, and it worked. I guess the problem was I uninstalled a few unwanted games, which came with the pc and the anti-virus of the trial.

I had a particular problem. Whenever I have plug in a USB key and try and access it, I get a pop saying "Windows Explorer has stopped working." the file is closed. If I wait a long time (i.e. 10 seconds), I might be able to get into the drive without any problems, but even when there is no guarantee. The problem persists in each USB slot I use. In addition, it is not that the computer is not able to detect it. It can detect and identify that it is a USB flash drive. It's just that whenever I try to access (or the folders inside the flash player), windows Explorer stops working and restarts.

The mistake made reference the MSVCR80.dll, which is a Microsoft file, but it may be another third party file, causing the problem.

Maybe you have messed your OS and now OS doesn't function properly.
Have you tried to restore the operating system from the recovery CD?

If this isn't the case, then do it. The whole HARD drive will be formatted and the recovery CD to install the image of Toshiba which contains the OS, driver, utility and software tools extra.

Since I've upgraded to Windows 10, keyboard stops working randomly in different programs. For example, it might stop working in Firefox, but at the same time it would work very well in Chrome and Notepad. Or it stops working in Chrome, but works very well to edge and Firefox. Most of the time, closing and opening the progrm do nothing, only a reboot solves the problem for a while. I should also mention that, while the keyboard stops working in this particular program, the program itself is not frozen and it works fine if I use the touchpad.

I have read most of the messages of the community on this subject and tried without success. I am trying to copy pictures from my SD card to record pictures. It worked fine without problems in the past. Now when I do it, Explorer stops working, and a message appears, "Windows Explorer has stopped working - Windows Explorer is re-start", and the explore program stops. Doing so the bar tasks disappears and then reappears as if the PC starts. I would be grateful to know if someone had a similar problem and found a solution?

Found a box that prevents the bios to booting from anything other than the hard drive in the BIOS, under Security. Stupid because it still allows you to change the order of boot without any error message.

Once I changed I could boot from the cd and fix corrupted files.
