Icons in folder is no longer displayed content
My icons folder in the Explorer no longer display their contents. What watch is on the edge of a shadow where thumbnails must be.
Hello
Thanks for the reply!
As the steps mentioned above did not help you to solve the problem, I suggest you try the following steps.
How much space you have in the drive?
Method 1: I suggest you to clear the cache of thumbnails and see if that helps.
Navigate to the.
C:\Users\User-Name\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\ExplorerNote: view the files and folders first.
Clear the contents of the folderMethod 2: do a disk cleanup and check the box next to thumbnails.
Delete files using disk cleanup
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/delete-files-using-disk-cleanupNote: Removes temporary files, empty the Recycle Bin, and removes a variety of file system and other items that you no longer need.
Method 3: I suggest you run SFC scan. Scan SFC will be scans all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with appropriate Microsoft versions.

When I open a folder of images, it no longer displays thumbnail previews of the images
original title: thumbnails not showing upward
For some reason any when I open a folder of images, it no longer displays thumbnail previews of the images. Instead, I get the generic pictures of a red & yellow flower or a lake and mountains. I did research online and found the problem, which was "Always show icons, never thumbnails" was checked in the control PANEL, OPTIONS of FOLDERS, thenVIEW. Once I found the problem, I disabled it and clicked on apply. But nothing. I restarted and it still does not display thumbnail previews. Last night for some reason, he began to build, but then stopped. So, although the "always show icons, never thumbnails" setting is not checked, it will still not display thumbnails. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Can you do a system restore and choose a date where you did NOT have this problem as your restore point?
System Restore:Start button > Search box, type system restore > press the Enter key > uac prompt > click on choose a different restore point > next > select dates as your restore point, until the click > next > finish
To sit and wait. The machine restarts when it's done.Note: In most cases, do it in safe mode system restore is more preferable.
Here's how to get safe mode:Shut down your computer > turn it back on and immediately and repeatedly tab key F8 until you see a black and white screen. The top/down arrow and select Safe Mode.t-4-2

Display the volume on f20 - 137
How can I display the volume on screen disply bar when I increase/decrease the volume on the volume wheel.
Hello
When you move the volume wheel in the middle of the screen, you will see notification signal volume. It's a little graphic, and you can also hear the sound. If the signal is stronger, the signal will be stronger. Using the FN + ESC key combination you can switch to the mute box.
Good bye

I use Windows 7 Home Premium on an AMD Athlon (TM) II X 4 630 2.80 GHz with 6.0 GB of RAM (64 bit OS). PC is up-to-date with the latest updates and use Norton Anti Virus.
I used this PC for several months with no problems. After doing some research in my menu of the taskbar Windows Explorer and start icons have become corrupted. The links always work but do not show the right program.
I tried several things to fix this. I removed everything in the start menu and taskbar, rebooted, added a few back but the problem still exists. I deleted the icon cache file (renamed to db.old), restarted, problem still exist. I made a recovery of a checkpoint system before the problem was still not fixed. When I go to small icons, the problem disappears. The problem only seems to appear when you use large icons in the bar of tasks and the start menu.
Based on what I've tried so far is there any other suggestions on how to fix this?
This tutorial is to rebuild the icon cache when the cache is corrupt.
http://www.SevenForums.com/tutorials/49819-icon-cache-rebuild.html
Option One is easier.

Z5 no longer displays the number of notifications that I have on each app
Given that I've updated the marshmallow last night, my Z5 no longer displays the number of notifications that I have on each app :-( Does anyone else have this problem? Notifications will still appear in the notifications bar, but not on the applications themselves (the few).
I just got some information about this. This is due to the fact that the snippet of code (API) which has been used by applications such as WhatsApp Messenger, to display unread messages, was not official, and is obsolete. The new API is shared among the partners and will require implementation on the side of the partner.

Menu start no longer displays options to shut down the computer, someone knows how to change that? The power options menu did not help.
When this happened to me, it was malware that didn't stop my computer, probably because she wanted to do something with it. I held the power button down until the computer is turned off manually, then I rebooted in safe mode - I run Vista - and ran some virus and malware programs until I found the beast and it crashed. You can also run a scan MS online at onecare.live.com, which was updated earlier this week. Moreover, I had not any data loss or permanent damage.
