  • Too many cases of taskeng.exe

I have vista 3 systems a 64 and two 32-bit, 32-bit and 64-bit are having problems with a large number of process taskeng.exe (over 500 to be exact). The total number of processes run anywhere between 450 to 701. The taskeng uses anywhere from 372 k for k in 1468. There are times when I can't open an internet window because so many processes. Is it normal to have so many process with vista and is it normal to have several taskeng.exe running process? If she is not normal, how can I solve the problem.

You can always disable services for Task Scheduler, if the maleware scan did not work.
    http://forums.techarena.in/operating-systems/1124908.htm
or you can do it yourself
    1. in the Start Menu, type Task Scheduler.
    2. click on Task Scheduler, and then select run as administrator. Accept the UAC prompt.
    3. the Task Scheduler console will not appear. In its menu, select view/show hidden tasks.

  • is it normal to have 4 files taskeng.exe?

    Hello

I know that Windows is supposed to have a file called taskeng.exe and is usually in the C: / / WINDOWS/Systems32. but I did a search on my computer and I found taskeng.exe 4 different files (3 in other places). I was wondering if the other three are viruses/malware that I should delete? I also found 4 files called TaskEng.exe.mui, are these reliable files?

I looked into it because my computer has been late to the questions most frequently in the last two weeks and from time to time a pop-up of the small black window and goes immediately, that I can't seem to take the name of the window. I did several scans with AVAST, but the remains late development. so I was wondering if these files Taskeng.exe is an indication that I have malware running and causing disturbances.

This is a picture of the search results I got:

    Thanks adavance for any help
