TCP/IP server

Buen dia,

Build a server Québec envia tamano 8.7 datos y 6 bytes. y tengo a client recibe tramas 8 bytes only (No puedo change el tamano del buffer of the client). Como puedo making Québec mi servidor want siempre tramas of 8 bytes, esto're por than in some momentos put datos tiene values inferiores al valor than client mi recibe, lo cual caused an error in los datos fijado.

MUCHAS gracias... Saludos cordial

UNA manera hacer lo than quieres seria fill bytes faltantes con los annoyingly an espacio, para hacerlo you can use a como el código you muestro a c.

Of despues if leer el number cerebro una funcion String fractional don't number any darte problema los espacios, pero should if need quitarselos you can use the siguiente funcion

I hope the information you sea ayuda

    This is certainly not the case: I managed to connect a PLC siemens-like through the ConnectToTCPServer without major problems.

    Do you get errors when trying to connect or command is simply delay? If so, if you increase the time-out period you are able to connect?

  • LabView to access the TCP/IP ESP8266 Server

    Hello world!

    I am an artificial intelligence system and must be monitorated on Wifi. I use a 12 ESP8266 to create a TCP/IP server. To test the server, I send data to port 80 and view by google chrome, the string is displayed correctly. The problem appears when I try to required data via TCP/IP client in LabView. I have tried a large number of ports with the same thing: held ESP account activity lights when LabView is trying to start a comunication and when timeout occurred. I'm a beast on communication networks, and for this reason, I'll have a lot of trouble in communication. Someone has an idea how to solve this problem? Thank you.

    I discovered the problem. When you configure ESP8266 to act as a server, it accepts only HTTP request, so a TCP/IP connection will get nothing. You need the GET HTTP range block, so that you can communicate ESP with LabView.

  • use of the server for executable files VI

    Hi all

    I tried to find a good explanation and example usage of VIserver to launch executables on client PC (XP) via a LAN to a PC (Win7) process controller. Basically, what I found for the controller is specified in this code snippet:

    The following was placed in the .ini file of the target at the time of construction to allow VIserver using an executable file (?):

    Server.TCP.Enabled = True
    Server.TCP.Access = "' + * '"
    Server.TCP.port = 3364
    Server.TCP.ACL = "290000000A000000010000001D00000003000000010000002A10000000030000000000010000000000"
    Server.VI.Access =""
    server.vi.callsEnabled = True
    server.vi.propertiesEnabled = True

    If a reference to an instance of application LV is open on the computer command on a specified port, and then a VI reference target

    for the .vi file (another instance?) opens on the same target for manipulation of knot VI. So what was lost for me is the executable

    I am trying to run the file. May not be wired to the terminal way to "ref Open VI". This implementation requires the .exe version and the version of VI

    I am trying to run the code? I launched with success of executable files over a LAN using plink with a script file. Problem is that I can't find a way

    get the target executables once loaded. There is most likely a C solution for this (I'll take it if anyone knows!), but since has VIserver of tools

    to control the execution, I would use it. Also, I want to understand the version of VI of the programme and the .exe in this case (s) link

    Version. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Ben OK,

    Your messages made me a technique to load with distance and running an exe file, built in LV8.5:

    1. to load: the controller emits a "tasklist" command to a target. The objective produces an output file of tasklist which is read by the controller. If it concludes that the target is already loaded, the controller will execute it with an invoke command node 'run a VI '.

    2. If the target is not loaded, then a script file is executed on the target via plink of the controller. This command will also start running.

    3. all the subVIs must reside on the target, as you said, even if (as in my case), the target has no LV Developer Suite installed. I placed Traoré versions of files and folders to exe in the same folder.

    4. the .ini file in the compilation has changed as shown in the first post of this thread. No special settings were used in the compilation.

    This probably isn't the exact technique you had in mind, but it doesn't seem to work... Thanks again for your help.

  • SPA112 & SIP122 - bytes of garbage sent using the SIP over TCP

    Because the port UDP 5060 is blocked in my case, the SIP over TCP is a good solution for me.

    But when I put SPA112 to use SIP over TCP, the server record is still broken.

    (I used the version of the firmware is latest: 1.3.3 but older versions has the same behavior.)

    After capturing packets, a problem is found:

    Each time before SPA112 has sent a message to register, there were 9 frames of data sent before him.

    Each frame has 20 bytes, and the content is the same.

    The 20 bytes has a motive: the first 4 bytes is always 00 01 00 00.

    So come with 4 * 4 bytes, for example, d8 22 6 b 17 d8 d8 d8 22 6 b 17 22 6 b 17 b 22 6, 17

    So, in the stream TCP, the register message is like:

    ....."k.." k.. » k.. » k......"k.." k.. » k.. » k......"k.." k.. » k.. » k......"k.." k.. » k.. » k......"k.." k.. » k.. » k......"k.." k.. » k.. » k......"k.." k.. » k.. » k......"k.." k.. » k.. » k......"k.." k.. "" k... "k.NOTIFY sip:sip.callwithus.com:5060 SIP/2.0

    Via:...

    The server responded immediately "SIP/2.0 484 address incomplete."

    Then send SPA112 record message again, this time it succeeded and the server response "SIP/2.0 401 Unauthorized '.

    Seems good.

    Subsequently, SPA112 has sent a new message digest information register but the bytes of garbage appeared again.

    Is there any configuration on this bytes of garbage?

    It seems that you hit the Nice firmware bug. I can tell you what I see in captured TCP stream.

    Your client is connected to the SIP server, but it is not start sending SIP messages - it STUN via the stream instead. You caught "STUN Binding request" nine times before the first SIP package. And an another STUN is tried before the second REGISTER.

    This is a bug with doubt - STUN have nothing to do in the stream TCP SIP. As the switch waits for the SIP packets, it is confused by byte STUN causing packets SIP to be misunderstood and rejected.

    Unfortunately, I have no idea how to report a bug in firmware to Cisco, unless you are willing to pay for it.

    On the other side, it would be that hard to solve the problem. Just disable the STUN.

    Thread mark as answered if it solves your problem, it will help others to find solutions.

  • Strange behavior of GUI

    Hi all

    I'm a software developer in a neurosurgical research, and we are looking in a good software package to perform analyses on our biomedical data (16 channels of continuous data for 14 days at 200 Hz)... (btw: Labview is the way forward?)

    Therefore, I try to evaluate the latest version of Labview 2012 64-bit, but I'm having a strange problem. After a few seconds to play with the GUI (adding items to the VI,) or just resizing of windows, he answers correctly. It does not show the menus more (they appear for a fraction of a second, then disappear). I have to close the graphical user interface in the Task Manager... It also occurs in the window Gettings started...
    I installed the latest patch of f3, but it solves nothing.

    Here are my details:

    LabVIEW 2012 (allocated memory: 57629K, TCP idle server, Version 12.0f3 (64 bit))

    Windows 7 Pro SP1 64 bit

    CPU: Intel Core i7-3630QM

    RAM: 20 GB

    GPU: NVIDIA Quadro K1000M 4 GB with latest drivers NVIDIA

    I'm only using LV on a fairly normal installation of windows 7. Reboot does not change, nor a restore/update of GPU drivers doesn't change anything...

    In the meantime, I could save a simple vi, with only a few items and I open it as well, but I can't work with it for more than a minute...

    UPDATE: everything by typing this message, I tried to disable certain things, and at the moment, it seems to be resolved by disabling NVIDIA nView Desktop Manager (v 136.53), which I use for my setup dual monitor... I'll keep you updated if this really solves the problem...

    RESOLVED: I now use LV over 20 minutes with no problems... now I'll see if it can meet my needs...

  • Data transfer Ethernet fails on deployed Application RT

    I wrote a TCP/IP client that interacts with a TCP/IP server on a LAN (cable). I've developed this during a few months on LabVIEW 2014 (no SP1) targeting a cRIO9068 chassis.

    Development went very well, never had any problem Ethernet flaky with LabVIEW. Once I got all the balls I have deployed and went out of the factory.

    Ethernet connects at the factory, but no data is transferred. Puzzled, I reconnected my LabVIEW Development for the chassis machine, opened the project from which the application has been deployed and ran from the project. This works. I see this behavior on the original chassis also, so I have two chassis, which work with the development environment but do not work when it is deployed.

    What's up with that? All ideas appreciated, I can't on this topic in these forums or a general search on Google.

    Thank you

    Bill

    The problem was caused by the execution of the first level VI is the reentrant value framework. I put it to not reentrant.

    With the help of the key has been

    netstat - a

    I saw that demand had several ESTABLISHED connections where alone should be possible.

    Along the way I cleaned up my code a little, but the root cause was multiple instances of the application currently running on the cRIO. If the boot vi is reentrant and then you get an instance when the material starts or restarts, then you get another instance when you launch the front panel on the web. Instead of the Panel connection to the program running, another one is started.

    During the execution of the development environment, that this does not happen. The development environment requires a single run on the top-level vi.

    A shout-out to the people of software OR: a small warning: 'several instances of the program can execute because the first level VI is reentrant' to the start of construction, and add something Panel documentation as "Connect a remote panel based on the web in a VI environment level a second copy of the top-level VI will call" would have saved me a day...

    See you soon,.

  • Open a command of the vi of high level for an executable

    Hello everyone

    I was wondering how you would open a command remotely for the first level vi in an executable?

    I created a LabVIEW application and tested opening remote control when it is running as a result of labview full development - it all works very well. I'll just exploit > connect to remote control and enter the address of the server, the port (8000) and the name of vi in the format of ' My Project.lvproh/My Computer/main.vi ' path.

    However, if I can build this application into an executable file that I don't seem to be able to open a remote panel - it may be that I'm just in the name of VI incorrectly.

    with VI or VI = "main.vi" name name = "C:\builds\main.exe\main.vi" and the exe file. running, I get the error:

    Connection to the server remote panel...
    Asked that VI is not loaded in memory on the server computer

    But I don't know how I would be.

    The main.ini has the following configuration:

    server.app.propertiesEnabled = True
    Server.OLE.Enabled = True
    Server.TCP.ACL = "0800000008000000"
    Server.TCP.Enabled = True
    Server.TCP.Paranoid = true

    WebServer.Enabled = True
    WebServer.TcpAccess = "" + c * ' "
    WebServer.ViAccess = "' + * '"
    DebugServerEnabled = True
    DebugServerWaitOnLaunch = False

    Both machines have LabVIEW 2011 Profesional Development System SP1 so I don't think it's a matter of limited remote access license.

    Any suggestions as to where I'm wrong would be very appreciated.

    See you soon

    John

    It seems that you can actually use remote panels within an executable file.

    The problem I had was that I had left the port of the web server for the panels of distance to the LabVIEW development environment. Which means that the main LabVIEW web server was in the path of the web server that was associated with my built application.

    With web application server on a different port and the VI in memory (and the file in a directory/external library to the exe if this is not the top level VI), you just need to specify the name of VI such as main.vi.

  • SelectThreadIdealProcessor

    I use the LW/CVI FDS 7.0.  I have a programme of work to acquire data at the same time a data acquisition card and two serial devices. I now need to add another sensor that acts as a TCP/IP server.  I have worked successfully with the new sensor that communicates via TCP/IP using a test program. In my data acquisition program, I will acquire new data the main thread sensor because it is intensive reminder for TCP/IP communications and use a second thread for the existing DAQ card and two serial ports.  If the program is unable to obtain the data fast enough, I want to assign the second thread for the second processor on the computer. The white paper NOR 'Multithreading in LabWindows/CVI' says setting the preferred processor for a thread using the 'SetThreadIdealProcesssor' Win32 API function LW/CVI will automatically search the SDK Windows/for unresolved references after searching for the libraries of LW. When I try to compile the exe, I get an error in 'Unresolved Reference' linker for the function "SetThreadIdealProcesssor".  By examining the NEITHER provided the files 'sdkfuncs.txt' and 'sdkfuncs_base.txt', no reference to the "SetThreadIdealProcesssor" is located. I found the function prototype in the file "winbase.h. I was unable to find "SetThreadIdealProcesssor" in any file where LW/CVI is installed with the exception of a .pdf on multithreading file and the file "winbase.h.

    Is or is not the "SetThreadIdealProcesssor" included with LW/CVI FDS 7.0?  If Yes, where and how I reference to bind.  I have add "windows.h" and "winbase.h" as include files to try to resolve the problem without success.

    I saw a forum a few years ago, but there was no resolution.

    Are you sure that it is a mistake to link that you see and not a compilation error? The problem I see is that the function in winbase.h prototype has a guard preprocessor around it (probably because that feature was added only in Windows 2000). These guardians of preprocessor to protect against using the use inadvertently a function does not much sense, since what matters is the version of the operating system when you run your program, not the version with which you compile.

    In all cases, you should be able to work around this problem by adding the following to the top of your source code (before include windows.h):

    #define _WIN32_WINNT 0 x 0500

    After that, you should get is no longer a link error. Let me know if this isn't the case.

    Moreover, the implementatin function is in C:\Program NIUninstaller Instruments\CVI70\sdk\lib\msvc\kernel32.lib. You don't have to add this library to the project.

  • global functional

    Hi all.

    Having the application main and 4 under apps.  Each of the 4 under apps functional a global (or motor action) in which he writes and reads a cluster of app-specific data.

    The idea is that using a functional overall for each application data could be transmitted between all and APP of the hand.

    For example, I want to be able to drop the sub-app1 FG on the BD for sub-app2 and read all the data.  At the same time sub-app1 would update its FG on his own comics.

    This doesn't seem to work.  For example the FG1 is updated by sub-app1, BUT the instance of FG1 on the BD for sub-app2 is empty.

    None of the fivet is reentrant; That of why there is never a single instance of each FG, correct?  There is only one (1) instance of each FG on the disk.  Each sub - app and FG are located in a separate LV project.

    Confused.

    While the two screws are running the two project go to hiarchy screen and press 'ctrl-a' to show all.

    Still, I can't ping ASA remote outside from outside of the Local interface. And there is no connectivity between the 192.168.80.0 distance and local don't say 192.168.1.0. I have run out of ideas

    Would appreciate any help. Thank you in advance...

    If the tunnel is up (phase 1), but no traffic passing the best test is the following:

    Add order management-access to the Interior , and then try to PING the intellectual property inside ASA counterpart.

    inside x.x.x.x ping --> x.x.x.x is the IP of the ASA peer inside

    The test above shows if the traffic passes through the tunnel (check encrypted/decrypted packets of sh cry ips its).

    Test on both directions.

    Please post the results.

    Federico.

  • ORA-12154 for sqlplus username/password@TNS but tns ping works and sqlplus username@TNS works.

    Hello-

    I am facing the following question when I try to connect by using the command prompt sqlplus for Oracle 11.2.0.3 DB installed and running on HP - UX.

    The password is not all special characters & I also tried with the double quotes which did not work.

    Following want to work with username/password@TNSNAME because I'm trying to get my application to connect to the database, the schema mentioned because it uses the jdbc connection with the connection as (username/password@TNS:1521) string.

    C:\Users>sqlplus username/Pa55w0rd@DBNAME;

    Hello

    sqlplus username/Pa55w0rd@DBNAME;

    Try it without the semicolon;

    sqlplus username/Pa55w0rd@DBNAME
