  Emails requesting Hotmail/Outlook.com/Microsoft user account, passwords, and personal information are phishing scams.  E-mails threatening closure imminent your account unless you answer are also usually scams.   Its a common phishing scam. Do not answer. Mark the email as spam and delete it.

  Microsoft doesn't send unsolicited emails asking for information about your account. Provide any personal information to anyone.
