  • Console shows "com.teamviewer" running on my Mac, but I do not have Team Viewer installed

Because of the constant crashing and having to restart my Mac like 5-6 times a day, I checked the first Console of my Mac. I do NOT understand the programming language, but still I find it disturbing to find what seems like Team Viewer running on my computer, while I have not installed this application. I searched through my Mac, but I found no evidence of this request.

Here is a part of the text in the Console (I think!) Watch Team Viewer running:

com Apple.XPC.launchd: (com.teamviewer.service [500]) Service has not been initialized: cannot set the current working directory. error = 2: no file or directory, the path = /Applications/TeamViewer.app/Contents/MacOS: 15F34: spcproxy + 12068 [1343] [F7717708-ACF7-307D-B04E-998DFC36598F]: 0x2

com Apple.XPC.launchd: (com.teamviewer.service [500]) Service worked only for 0 seconds. Push the respawn in 10 seconds.

This message seems to be repeated 3 times before being interrupted by other texts from the Console.

I would like to know what this means and what I need to do to keep my Mac "clean".

This means that you (or someone else using the computer) tried to remove "TeamViewer" by removing the application that does not work.

Any third party software that is not installed on the App Store or by drag-and - drop in the Applications folder and uninstall by drag - move to the trash, is a modification of the system.

Whenever you delete changes to the system, they must be eliminated completely, and the only way to do this is to use the uninstall tool, if any, provided by the developers, or follow their instructions. If the software has been removed incompletely, you may redownload or reinstall even to finish the job.

I never install modifications of the system myself, and except as stated in this comment, I do not know how to uninstall them. You'll have to do your own research to find this information.

Here are some general guidelines to help you get started. Suppose you want to remove the so-called "BrickMyMac" (a hypothetical example). First of all, menu using the product, check if there is one, for instructions. Not finding here, look at the Web site, let's say www.brickmymac.com. (Maybe it's not the name real site, if necessary, search the Web for the name of the product). If you don't find anything on the Web site or in your search, contact the developer. While you are waiting for a response, download BrickMyMac.dmg and open it. There may be a request here as "Uninstall BrickMyMac." If this is not the case, open "BrickMyMac.pkg" and look for an uninstall button. The uninstall program can also accessible by clicking on the button customize, when one exists.

Back up all data before making any changes.

Generally, you will need to restart the computer in order to perform an uninstall. Until you do this, there may be no effect, or the unpredictable effects.

If you can't remove the software in any other way, you will have to erase and install OS X. Never install any third party software, unless you're sure you know how to uninstall in the contrary case, it can create problems which are very difficult to solve.

Try to remove the complex system of changes by hunting for files by name, often will not work and can make the problem worse. The same goes for 'utilities' as the 'AppCleaner"designed to remove software.

  • Problem with your comments when you run Skype and Team Viewer 11

    G ' Day of Australia.

Today, I downloaded the latest version of Skype. I have Windows 7 Professional.

I contacted my friend on Skype and videoconferencing worked perfectly.

I then tried to take control of his computer via Team Viewer 11.

Hi, the computer is a Toshiba Satellite Pro running Windows 7.

Unfortunately, when I talked to him he got terrible echo feedback. He tried to plug the headphones in his computer, but also got terrible feedback when I talked to him. He also cut its speaker and still got feedback.

I've heard for me no problem.

I hope that there is some good soul out there who can help.

    Thank you.

    Paul.

    Wow Techfreak.

Thanks a lot for your response altogether.

    Works perfectly now.

  • HP ENVY 15 Notebook PC: Envy 15 empty show - but the windows facing up and running - and can be accessed via Team Viewer

    Hello

I used the laptop for almost two years, and today I came across the following problem (yesterday everithing worked fine):

I opened the laptop and the power light is on, the finger scanning led was light but no display on the screen.

I use team Viewer and I can access the computer laptop, scanned the finger and loads of windows 8.1 correctly, but still nothing appears on the screen of the laptop.

Using Team Viewer: right click on desktop-> screen resolution and there are:

    Display: 1 Digital Flat Panel (1024 x 768 60 Hz)

    Resolution: 1024 x 768 (recommended)<- is="" grayed="">

The screen should generally at a larger display: 1920 x 1080.

So far, I have tried the following: Hard reset, serveral reboots, but no idea what to do next.

    Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.

Have you connected an HDMI cable to the displayport to see if an external monitor works?

You should have seen a normal window with Teamviewer. As I understand it, the window of Teamviewer for laptop is grayed out.

This means that the solution of video display in your laptop has very probably.

The previous suggestion, I did check.

  • Team Viewer crashes after update 11/11/15

FYI after execution of updates today, Team Viewer crashes at launch.

Name: APPCRASH application name: TeamViewer.exe Application Version: 10.0.47484.0...

I have this resolved for now by running the system restore and have opened a support ticket with Team Viewer for them to consider.

I'm writing this for the benefit of third parties who may run into this.  I will you update when Team Viewer responds.

I received the following response today from Team Viewer

"Thank you for your message. Windows has released another update to correct the problem.

Could you please update Windows with the latest version and try again?

If the problem persists after the update, feel free to contact us again. »

I have conducted an audit of the updates refresh the list pending and then ran 25 updates.  This time, they do not cause a problem with team Viewer.

I suspect that the problem was in KB3097877 that caused other issues.

  • Finder keeps freezing

    Hello

    I use a Macbook Pro OS X 10.9.5 and 2.5 GHz, 16 GB RAM

My finder does not respond well at all. When I force quit and re launch I could receive a 20-30 seconds to respond to him then back to even again.

The last things I did are added a lot of samples and music loops to my folder of music and video files on my desktop filmed using a digital SLR. I have more than 90 GB of memory left so many doubt that would be the problem.

The steps I used to date are

    Delete the plist file

Installed software recently deleted (team Viewer)

    Thanks in advance

On a hunch, you have ALL software installed antivirus or uTorrent?  If so, remove the two, reboot and re-evaluate the slowness.

  • SSD disappeared after update

    Hi people,

I just did the last update of El Capitan on my Mac Mini 2011, 10.11.6, as well as the removal of Team Viewer (after the recent security issues) and reboot, the OS disk just disappeared.

It has 2 drives, a Samsung SSD 840 and 2 TB HDD; the SSD is the startup disk.

I started from a SD card and can not see the SSD drive in disk utility, nor I see the car at all from another Mac so start the Mini into disk mode target (also using disk utility). The regular reader of 2 TB appears in each case.

    Any suggestions on next steps?

    Thank you!

Update: I tried another drive in the same Bay, and it works, so the Board and wiring are OK. Tried the SSD again after re - install and still nothing. Looks like the SSD is dead unless anyone can offer something different...

  • alternatives to LogMeIn Pro for remote access?

Greetings.  Currently, we have systems in the United States, Switzerland and the Mexico that I supported via remote access using LogMeIn Pro.  We paid for a subscription before free LMI Pro has been abandoned even to appreciate the characteristics of LMI Pro.  But as LMI has eliminated this free service, it seems their subscription rate more than doubled each year.  We currently need remote access to 3 Macs and 2 units of Windows (ew).

Last year, we paid $174. for the annual subscription in support of these 5 systems.  I just checked on the price of renewal and it shows $349.00 for renewal.  This is getting too expensive!

Last year, I invested in ARD to support my mother MacBook and the MacBook from an old friend, rather than pay LMI for a subscription in support of these systems.  ARD was a good alternative for these systems, but it is not a realistic alternative to remote systems for charity I help support.  Partly because of the PC, also because what it requires port forwarding in the router and finally because I have to be at my computer to use ARD to access those other systems.  LMI offers the possibility to access systems through an iOS app and can be used by other members of the team of charity, anywhere in the world everyone is physically located.  That's why we have maintained the LMI Pro subscriptions for a number of years.

But with the perennial increase rate of LMI ridiculous (I think they can take their pricing of Obamacare), I'm on my eternal quest for an alternative to remote access.

    Can anyone offer advice?

Thank you very much for your review,

    Dee Dee in Florida

  • Can the iPad will be the single monitor to a Mac Mini?

For the most part, everything we do on the computer can be done with the iPad. However, there are some applications for which we need a computer that is running something other than iOS. What we have is for each family member to have an iPad, that would work for 95% of what we do and then have a Mac Mini that anyone can use for applications that do not work on an iPad. We really don't want children using a MacBook, because they are too fragile, and we do not want a monitor constantly sitting around the House. I saw a software that will transform the iPad into a monitor for the Mac Mini. Can this work as the single monitor? I consider the MacMini sitting quietly somewhere in the House, so that each of us could 'plug in' (either wireless or wired, not sure how it works) to him with an iPad when it takes more computing power. The MacMini would never be used with anything other than an iPad as a monitor. Is this possible? Thank you!

There are apps like the Team Viewer free (for non-commercial use) and the paid LogMeIn and the GoToMyPC that allows an iPad control/use a computer...

  • Best way to connect my computer to computer outside

What is the best way to connect to my server from 14 Filemaker from an outside computer.  Both computers to run OS10.11.  Team Viewer is the only way I just need to do one or two weeks a year, in order to access the program.

You can use any service remote desktop, such as VNC, Apple Remote Desktop, etc.

  • With the help of an old sim card in the iPhone?

I finally convinced my MOM to get an iPhone.

Here, is the fun part. It is 1200 miles away so I can't be there to help him with this. She lives in an abdelkader * town so not Apple store or engineering support. I do this anywhere in the phone. She bought a reconditioned 5 or 6 for storage AT & T probably will not be that useful.

It is on AT & T. I'm on Verizon. His current phone is so old that she cannot yet use AT & T cloud backup. It's something Huawei. It has a sim card. My phone does not have a sim card, so I'm flying blind on this one.

My questions are these. It is theoretically possible for her to use the old phone sim card in an iPhone? I need to identify the card for me, I know. It seems that if it's an AT & T card, it should work.

Is this what is causing problems for her? She wants to use the card so that it will not lose its photos and will not have to enter all its numbers again. Once the info is in the iPhone, I'll put it up with iCloud so that she should not rely on the map.

If she can not use the old sim card, what is the best way to get the data of the card and on the phone? It has a Dell laptop. I have not persuaded to get a Macbook yet. I read that I can get a converter any for the card to be used with a USB port. Would it not easier to import the data on his laptop computer, and then in iCloud? Then once she has the iPhone, hover over the address? I'm assuming the pictures import as jpg files. Does anyone know how to import the addresses? I Team Viewer if I can take her cell phone if I need to.

My other thought is to try to connect his phone to his laptop computer. I'm not sure she can find a cable with USB on one side and everything that will connect on the phone on the other. I'm not sure that it will work at all, but I think it's worth it.

Ideas, tips or tricks to help me help my mother would be greatly appreciated.

Where exactly she buys this iPhone "reconditioned"? Apple does not sell reconditioned iPhones and if it has been refurbished by a 3rd party, he will be untouchable as far as Apple is concerned.

That said, if it is AT & T, she can get an AT & T Nano from AT & T SIM. They charge him for it. Her old SIM does not fit into a new iPhone. Heck, he probably does not take in an old iPhone unless you want to track an iPhone to original iPhone 3G or 3GS, which are obsolete.

Get photos off the old phone is based entirely on what type of phone is and what kind of data transfer utility (and special cables) are available. If fact, she buys a new iPhone, someone at the AT & T store can help with this and contact transfer.
