• Tecra A10 HDD SATA drivers (Windows XP)

  I need to download drivers Windows XP SATA HDD for Toshiba Tecra A10.

  I searched all websites of Toshiba in the world and the closest I can find is "Intel Storage Manager" stating "Intel Matrix Storage Management utility to manage your local storage space, including support RAID, including drivers, you will need to provide the installation manual to make the HARD disk available to the operating system OS installer" in the description

  However, the Intel Storage Manager cannot be installed on a laptop with XP is already installed. There is no drivers for the SATA HARD drive included in the compressed package I downloaded (stormng - 20080903143138.zip).

  Sorry for the long message but I would try and give as much information as possible.

  I recently inherited my old M2 TECRA (model # PTM20E-0QC4M-EN) work as a PC replacement for your old desktop at home.   According to the description of your fault, I think it might be a problem with the FL inverter.
  The FL inverter is part controlling the backlight.

  I think you could try to replace the inverter FL. You should get the compatible portion of the ASP in your country.

  I thought then that I was here anyway I could ask this too.
  The tecra S2 has 3 USB ports, they all work very well for my USB mouse and other small things like the wacom tablet...
  But when I plug my external hard drive in two of them, it says that it is an unknown device...

  Dell won't repair it themselves. Reference Dell just checks the failure to distance and sends you a new hard drive to install yourself. It takes a hard drive with windows and all the original software already installed. You return the defective hard drive in the same box. Dell generally requires a credit card where you do not return the failure.
