Telnet error on iMC DISH 5.1 SP1 (JF377A)

Hello!

I use HP Intelligent Management Center v.5.1

PA trying to manage my Procurve by Telnet switches from the iMC Web page. Get an error on the connection...!

Try to back up the configuration of switches of the iMC web page, getting expired.

Have installed SP1, same result, trying the same operation.

Can say you Telent to a command promt on the same server is OK. Can also manage switches by typing theire ip in the browser. Telnet to the old manager of Procureve application is also OK. But I can't do the BMI.

Can also mention that when I go to view resource-device - select a device a choice more and Telnet settings. Add the right connection and save... the message is Succsessfully, and when I test parameters: Telnet... I get with success. But the next time I do the same: resources-device view - select a device one more pick and Telnet settings the password field is empty.

This has something to do with my problem?

I also tried: find a device in iMC, on the right side, click on Telnet... then it tries to open av page Web instead of an og Telnet window command.

Clicking on Telnet/SSH Proxy gives me a command window with Telnet if...!

I'm out of luck here. Can someone guide me?

  • "WindowsUpdate_800705B3" "WindowsUpdate_dt000" error during the update to Vista SP1

    Windows Vista.

    Dell XPS M1530 laptop.

NVidia GeForce 8600 M GT graphics card.

I tried to upgrade to Vista SP1 at least 10 times.   It retores the previous version every time.   He died in post installation configuration phase each time, before and after the reboot.

I did this update with Windows Update and manually with the full 400MB download from Microsoft.  I cleaned the SWDistribution directory.

I did it with a clean boot. I tried with Norton Antivirus discharged.   I have removed all unnecessary applications.

I have updated all drivers, including a complete set of video drivers directly from NVidia.

I ran all stand-alone hardware diagnostics.   I have run chkdsk at startup.   I ran sfc.  I ran MS virus scan.

All these have been recommended in the forum posts.   None worked.    Many think 800705B 3 error is a video driver issue, but I'm now on the most recent.

I wish that the program of MS Windows Update would report is just a mistake 800705B 3.   Why is there no error message with the error number?

    Help, please.

This problem has been resolved by running the diagnostic MS tool and find that some system files have been corrupted.   We had to upgrade (IE reloading) Vista version original DVD.  Then the SP1 and SP2.    Thanks to MS Chat technology!

Click on the Tools tab, then click on check now under error checking

Use the default settings, and then click Start

Click on schedule the disk check

Restart the computer and the drive will be checked to find errors

    Or

Run Chkdsk in command prompt with administrative rights.

CHKDSK x: /F /R  (this command will perform a complete analysis (including bad sectors) and an attempt to remedy)

Step 2: Perform a upgrade on the spot:

I don't understand exactly how errors in the two newspapers are related, but my opinion is that, if I can solve my CheckSUR.log errors, CBS.log errors will disappear to, and then I might even be able to install SP1.

Any help that can be provided would be greatly appreciated.

For what is interesting, what I ended up doing to solve my problems was to re - install Vista with the 'upgrade' option, so I don't lose any of my files or desktop settings...

After that, I had a few problems with my OS reinstalled with several (80 +) updates, SP1 and SP2 from catching up.  But overall these problems were minor compared to it, that I lived just to fix some missing files.

  • Cannot install Vista SP1, error code "WindowsUpdate_80004004" "WindowsUpdate_dt000"

Summary: I have bad installation of Vista SP1 and would be grateful for any advice, see details below.

    B A C K G R O U N D:

I am running Vista Home Premium (32-bit version) and I need to upgrade Adobe create Suite 3 (CS3) to CS4. The problem comes from the fact that CS4 requires Vista Service Pack 1 (SP1) and I'm unable to install SP1.

I really, really want to avoid storing new factory setting and re-install Vista... So, I would be very grateful if there is someone out there who could offer some advice to help me correct my current system with SP1, allowing installation both need the software Adobe CS4. Someone has an idea of what I might try next?

    E R R O R D E S C R I P T I O N:

After trying to install the Vista SP1, I get the following under Windows Update error code: "WindowsUpdate_80004004" "WindowsUpdate_dt000" Leading to this following error occurs:

    1. SP1 is installed and Vista claims that it is correctly installed (it takes a few hours...)
    2. Computer is restarted and 3 updates are applied to the system. The first of these takes forever and housing is 98% completion for a few hours, not a sign of healty I guess...
    3. Computer is then restarted again (or maybe it goes directly from 2) 3) without a re-boot inbetween?) and now I am facing a window called "Start up repair" telling me "your computer is unable to boot"... here I just have to click Next and the computer now spends in the order of 45 minutes to fix the system. When it's done, Vista starts but without SP1 and Windows journal showing the unsuccessful attempt to install KB936330 entry more an upgrade.

    • AMD Turion 64 X 2 rocessor
    • 2 GB of RAM, 32-bit version of Vista Home Premium, no other OS
    • Trend Micro Internet security (antivirus and firewall)

Vista updated with all updates high priority, except the following:

    • KB905866, error message "WindowsUpdate_80004004" "WindowsUpdate_dt000"
    • KB936330 (SP1), an error message "WindowsUpdate_80004004" "WindowsUpdate_dt000"
    • KB955430, "WindowsUpdate_800F0825" "WindowsUpdate_dt000" (note the difference)

    W H A T I H A V E T R I E D S O F R:

    Diagnosis of basic computer:

    1. run chdsk: OK
    2. the verification of memory: OK
    3. I also downloaded a Vista recovery disk and booted from the recovery disc. In this mode, I tried to repair Vista, but no error was found.

I tried to install the SP1 with these configurations, all attempts to exactly the same error as described in detail above:

    • update of the "normal route" via automatic windows standalone
    • Downloaded the stand-alone SP1: unsuccessful (I read somewhere that has helped other users...)
    • disabled wifi: unsuccessful (I read somewhere that has helped other users...)
    • disable the antivirus and Firewall: unsuccessful

    That's all the advice?

    Thanks in advance,
    Peter
