Tent detail install CS6, but produced at each attempt on Win7x64 install failure

First of all, apologies for this post, I'm a little upset.

New computer Win7x64 and an attempt to install retail CS6 failed. I now get the following on each attempt installation error message: "could not initialize installation.  File not found.  Download Adobe Support Advisor to detect the problem".  I did, and with problems of the internet, I finally sent in a report.  I tried the tool cleaning several times, no help.  I tried to delete a registry entry, as described in trouble "bootstrapper error", but this 'InProgress key' special does not exist.

I even tried to download and install a trial version of CS6, but trying to install, got the same error message again.

What is my next move?

As with anyone else having a problem, I want to install CS6 and be on my way.  I'm also owner of retail LR3 and Nik Silver Efex Pro 2 (plug-in), but I will not try to install these until I can solve the problem installing CS6.  I need all 3 of these programs, now.

Once again, thank you for any help that can be provided.

I solved my problem with a work around which I can live with, but I still have questions about why my CS6 disc would not install initially.

Well, I decided to create a new user account Admin and stop BC  "In the new user Amin account I loaded the CS6 disk, I returned with a": you need to restart "error.  Yes, I did.  Re-loaded CS6, I got Setup, I got the ueula, I got the product key page, I finally got the product screen allowed, then when trying to connect in my journal in the impasse for 15 minutes.  Just a gray screen with no other option but to stop the installation completely with the Task Manager.  I did and waited for the program to end on its own, and do NOT select the end option now.  I started the process again, got the sign and I picked it up again.  The third time was eventually switched, and then I was able to install CS6x64 on my Admin user account.

Once completed, I checked the program well.  I have then closed and restarted, but connected to my original Admin user account.  CS6x64 is there and fully functional, and plug-in Silver Efex Pro 2 has been added without problem.

So I'm happy I got the installation work and that I can fully use the program as planned, I still have questions about issues which would not permit the installation normally.

Thank you for looking and I thank you for your responces Curt.  I think I'll still call Adobe and run this by them.

Setup error not solved, but around.
