I have no idea what it means. My laptop does not start. Unable to boot from disk or in safe mode.

The hard drive has failed and needs to be replaced. If you are still in warranty HP will send a replacement. If this is not the case, a laptop SATA hard detail can be used. Just be sure to get a quality at least equal the original in order to use recovery disks. It may be big, but not small ability more. For example if you have a 500 GB hard drive you can use a 750 GB hard drive, but not a 320 GB hard drive.

SMART in short Self Test cannot run - and other problems

I have a used Dell XPS 15Z which is buggy since I got it. At a difficult time running Windows updates. A friend at work solved that one by assigning a letter to the hard drive or something.

My Device Manager shows 4 'other devices '.

Three of them are as follows:

Bus PCI 5, device 0, function 0

Bus PCI 5, device 0, function 3

Bus PCI 5, device 0, function 4

The fourth is:

How can I know what they are so I can update and assign to their appropriate places?

I am trying to run the remote RDP Single-VM test according to the instructions of Installation and user's Guide.
When I start this test, the client virtual machine console turns off completely and I'm unable to see if any operation is going on.
Also 'viewplanner.log' shows "connection started from the client: fe80::457f:815 c: a8b6:317% 13" message and I see no progress after that. "
Everyone met such a problem? Any ideas?

Couple of fixes and testing is currently underway with success.

-The version of Adobe Reader must be v9 or v10. I comply v11 and errors.

-For the 'IE_ApacheDoc_BROWSE', run with IE v8. I ran v11 IE on Windows 7 and became the error. When you update the packages on Windows 7, it will update IE to v11, uninstall this update and it should be good. Found this solution on another thread of discussion in this forum.

I just checked our vTCS, it shows only a single IP address. If the server has more than one virtual nicinstalled, you can probably remove the sound that shouldn't be there. Although I'm not a VMWare administrator, so I can't say for sure, comparing what has my TCS.

Run unit tests different projects

I would like to start automatically tests in several projects.

Here's the scenario: given A, B, C,... independently developed projects and say the developer has introduced an amendment that affects the B and C and maybe other projects too. now, I would like to re - run all unit tests in A, B, C,... to see if the change results in errors in B, C, or any other project.

I thought to create a master project containing all the tests of A, B, C,... in auto-complete files but: 1) auto-complete files must be added manually and I would have a general solution; (2) auto fill records appear to be buggy or at least that they do is refresh as expected; in any case, 1) already is a show-stopper.

LabVIEW can be script? Other solutions?

Why the total time required for the test sequence is different during the test runs

-J' have different test resources to test our product which includes engines and the NOR-Box (6351).

-Number of test files in sequence that are called during the test (ca. 20)

-The problem is that when I run these test sequence files separate (say only 3 out of 20), total time by these tests are t1, t2 and t3, but when - I left all 20 tests to run without jumping all the time needed by the 3 tests above is t1 + 60 s, t2 + 80 s and t3 + 50sec. Why it is so and how can I avoid this problem.

-The tests are motors to move, take samples or box then save them on my computer after testing the limits. Since they are time critical, when I do all the running tests in a test go a lot do not PASS. I can't run them separately because it takes more time, more interference by user and also more than one report that is not desired.

-J' tried unloading after execution steps, but it did not help.

This probably depends on that made your sequence. Have you tried shrink where extra time is being spent? You can time how long different parts of your sequence are following the steps of the expression as follows:

Locals.StartTime = Seconds()

Locals.ElapsedTime = Seconds() - Locals.starttime

You can also watch time module in your reports. There is nothing specific on TestStand that should cause some sort of slow down like this. I recommend trying to figure out where the extra time is being spent. I suspect once you do, the cause will become obvious.

Running tests of OpenScript in OTM
Hello

I added an OpenScript form functional script in OTM and when I click on "Run test", and I see no action. In the history of the race, OTM shows in the 'Results' column that the test is 'Running', although more than hour elapsed since the beginning of the test to run.

I tried: OTM System Manager (Tools-> systems) and enterd my windows account password, but
It still does not work.

Can someone advise something?
