Test of the E-Business Suite applications using Oracle performance ATS

Hello
I'm going to do tests on the E-Business Suite applications using Oracle Application Testing Suite of performance. I used it for the Siebel load earlier tests, but never for E-Business applications. Can someone tell me what specific setting, I need to put in place on the side of the E-Business Application for load tests?

Are there any parameters server side that needs to be changed so that everything is saved in openscript? Please notify

Concerning
CP

Hello
Nothing to do on the side of the EBS.
Compare to Siebel, load tests using more memory agent, don't expect not to run too SAW with a single agent. So depending on the number max of SAW, you must properly size your CA.
Linux is a more scalable system to manage the memory usage. (you can not do that with siebel since the lib of correlation must run on windows).
According to the script (web or forms, mix, short or long), you will be probably limited to 200/300 users per agent.

    Does anyone know if the ADI for the E-Business suite 12.1.1 is compartible with Oracle Smartview 11.1.2?

    ADI is not certified with R12 - East ADI supported 7.2 with R12 (12 version) [420328.1 ID]

    If you mean WebADI with Smartview, I don't see any what docs MOS which show that it is certified or not, so I guess that's not (please connect an SR to confirm this with the support of the Oracle).

  • Photo search does not work in the Finder, but done in Spotlight.  In addition, can not see the Photos in other applications using the media browser

    Below is a screenshot of Photos with photo with the name IMG_1758.JPG.  On top of the image is my Finder window you are looking for this image under "This Mac" with no results.  Below the resulting from the spotlight that does not show the result.  I have only one library of photos under that user.  Also, if I am in another application such as Notes, Pages, Numbers, etc., I can't search and find images in the Photos.

    The Finder doesn't show images in boxes including the photo library.

    To access images sin Photos from another application using the media browser, this article was written for iphoto but it pretty much the same for Photos. The first option is to look for.

  • error in a WPF application using oracle.manageddataaccess.client

    Hello

    We have problems with a WPF MVVM using Oracle.ManagedDataAccess.Client application. We installed oracle.manageddataaccess.dll release 12.1.0.1.0 on a developer machine with 64 bit of Windows 7, Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 and Microsoft .NET Framework 4 OS. Installation seems to be ok and oracle.manageddataaccess.dll results to be registered in .net\assembly\GAC_MSIL c:\windows\microsoft. But when we try to compile the application, the following errors occurs

    Error 175: The ADO.NET provider with invariant name 'Oracle.ManagedDataAccess.Client' not is either not saved in the config machine or the application of the file, or could not be loaded

    errors are caused by the entity data model files (there is an error for each .edmx file).

    Note that the application works on another computer with the same configuration, so I guess that the problem is due to a bad setting on the computer

    any idea?

    Hello

    Finally, we have solved the problem! simply, we uninstalled and reinstalled Visual Studio and Oracle.manageddataaccess in this order. Now it's working. Thank you

    OK, so the situation is that you have an image in a BLOB, and you want to send this inline.
    Then you can do a combination of both procedures and the MIME technique described by Billy Verreynne in his post above (thanks, Billy: D)

    Sort of, something like this (restored your examples and Billys:)

      UTL_SMTP.open_data(l_mail_conn);

      UTL_SMTP.write_data(l_mail_conn, 'Date: ' || TO_CHAR(SYSDATE, 'DD-MON-YYYY HH24:MI:SS') || UTL_TCP.crlf);
      UTL_SMTP.write_data(l_mail_conn, 'To: ' || p_to || UTL_TCP.crlf);
      UTL_SMTP.write_data(l_mail_conn, 'From: ' || p_from || UTL_TCP.crlf);
      UTL_SMTP.write_data(l_mail_conn, 'Subject: ' || p_subject || UTL_TCP.crlf);
      UTL_SMTP.write_data(l_mail_conn, 'Reply-To: ' || p_from || UTL_TCP.crlf);
      UTL_SMTP.write_data(l_mail_conn, 'MIME-Version: 1.0' || UTL_TCP.crlf);
      UTL_SMTP.write_data(l_mail_conn, 'Content-Type: multipart/alternative; boundary="' || l_boundary || '"' || UTL_TCP.crlf || UTL_TCP.crlf);

      IF p_text_msg IS NOT NULL THEN
        UTL_SMTP.write_data(l_mail_conn, '--' || l_boundary || UTL_TCP.crlf);
        UTL_SMTP.write_data(l_mail_conn, 'Content-Type: text/plain' || UTL_TCP.crlf || UTL_TCP.crlf);

        UTL_SMTP.write_data(l_mail_conn, p_text_msg);
        UTL_SMTP.write_data(l_mail_conn, UTL_TCP.crlf || UTL_TCP.crlf);
      END IF;

      IF p_html_msg IS NOT NULL THEN
        UTL_SMTP.write_data(l_mail_conn, '--' || l_boundary || UTL_TCP.crlf);
        UTL_SMTP.write_data(l_mail_conn, 'Content-Type: text/html' || UTL_TCP.crlf || UTL_TCP.crlf);

        UTL_SMTP.write_data(l_mail_conn, p_html_msg);
        UTL_SMTP.write_data(l_mail_conn, UTL_TCP.crlf || UTL_TCP.crlf);
      END IF;

      IF p_image_blob IS NOT NULL THEN
        UTL_SMTP.write_data(l_mail_conn, '--' || l_boundary || UTL_TCP.crlf);

        /* These values taken from Billys example - replace by your own image name and type >>> */
        UTL_SMTP.write_data(l_mail_conn, 'Content-Type: image/png; name="image1.png"' || UTL_TCP.crlf);
        UTL_SMTP.write_data(l_mail_conn, 'Content-Transfer-Encoding: base64' || UTL_TCP.crlf);
        /* Use something unique here - the value of Content-ID is to be used in your HTML IMG tag */
        UTL_SMTP.write_data(l_mail_conn, 'Content-ID: ' || UTL_TCP.crlf);
        UTL_SMTP.write_data(l_mail_conn, 'Content-Description: image1.png' || UTL_TCP.crlf);
        UTL_SMTP.write_data(l_mail_conn, 'Content-Location: image1.png' || UTL_TCP.crlf || UTL_TCP.crlf);

        /* <<< */

        /* >>> This is your own example of writing the image blob into the mail as base64 encoded >>> */

        /* Writing the BLOL in chunks */
        WHILE l_pos < l_blob_len LOOP
          DBMS_LOB.READ(l_blob, l_amount, l_pos, l_buffer);
          UTL_SMTP.write_raw_data(l_mail_conn,
                                  UTL_ENCODE.BASE64_ENCODE(l_buffer));
          UTL_SMTP.WRITE_DATA(l_mail_conn, UTL_TCP.CRLF);
          l_buffer := NULL;
          l_pos    := l_pos + l_amount;
        END LOOP;

        /* <<< */

        UTL_SMTP.write_data(l_mail_conn, UTL_TCP.crlf || UTL_TCP.crlf);
      END IF;

      UTL_SMTP.write_data(l_mail_conn, '--' || l_boundary || '--' || UTL_TCP.crlf);
      UTL_SMTP.close_data(l_mail_conn);

      UTL_SMTP.QUIT(L_MAIL_CONN);

    And then your body HTML should be something like this:

      l_html := '

          Test HTML message

    This is a HTML version of the test message.

    ';

    The trick is that img src can point to an image in line with the cid: syntax, where you use the value of the Content-ID header.
    If you have multiple images, you just repeat add blobs as above with each their own unique Content-ID you can then use as img src tags in your HTML code.

    All this is not tested and I leave you to encapsulate in a procedure and to BLOB handling etc.
    But you get the idea, I am sure - just mix your solutions with Billys ;-)

  • How to get the webservices project customer specific use Oracle.

    I have a Web services project I developed in VS2005 where I use the Oracle.DataAccess.dll provided by Oracle 10 g ODAC to connect to an Oracle 8.1.7.4 database. I add a reference to the dll in the folder c:\oracle\product\10.2.0\client_1\ODP.NET\bin\2.x. I create and publish Web services and checked that Web services are working correctly. I ran into problems when I installed the latest version of the ODAC for Oracle 11, where the webservice Gets the following error ORA-03134 - this version of the server connections are more supported. Based on what I read here and ther panels, it seems that when I installed the ODAC for Oracle 11 he installed a policy file that redirects all calls to use Oracle 11 components data access rather than that I've specified explicitly in my project.

    Is it possible for me to always have the components of Oracle 11 working side by side with Oracle 10 g and forced my project to always use the components of Oracle 10 g?
