  The quick answer is, no there is not, unfortunately. InDesign can't do 'conditional paragraphs', but it would be a very good feature request.

  What could be done is a script: the script to find paragraphs at the top of a page or column and remove the dash.

  Finally, I wonder if Framemaker has such an option. It's somehow better suited to long documents that InDesign, I just realized.

  Had the same problem.  You must have changed the font size of your device to a point 10 or above fonts.  If you set it to original font size which is 8, it works perfectly again.  IHAVE that mine now set at 9 and it the text field scrolls correctly now.  It must be a bug in Blackberry software so if you read these messages please fix it as I'd rather watch 10-point font.

  Somethings to try:

  Each of the replicated text boxes give a unique name (Text1, Text2, Text3, etc..)

  Or placer place Text1, and then in the context menu, select "Place multiple fields".

  My form has a-line dynamically expandable by the user who clicks on a button. I put a maximum of 8 lines. Some users of form just a line while others need more than one. When I export using X Arcobat forms, any form that has several lines exporting other data of the line in the column on the right very far in Excel.   The field "rowObj [*]" was just an example. You need to substitute the name of your lines. So based on your example form, the code would be:

  Make sure you get this last bracket closing too, I missed it in the first block of code I posted.

  Another problem in the form, it's that you have "Repeat row for each data item" checked in the binding tab delete this for all lines. Lines are there all the time (even if they can be hidden), their presence is not driven by data, so it is not necessary.

  In addition, your script to remove line buttons required a change of:
