  For now, try to update the display drivers and see if it helps you to solve the problem. Drivers are updated occasionally. Windows can update automatically, or you can install the drivers updated yourself. It is important for you to have confidence in the updated drivers that you install. Windows warns you if it detects a suspicious or dangerous driver, you should not install.

  Although I see that two posts asking why this happens, the only answer has been asked which PC they had. I'm having the same problem (background colors and text are ignored) with this pavilion ze4900 (IE9.1). Pages display properly on my desktop PC but not on this laptop. Driver chart updated today but no change. I'm not formatting HTML simple like bgcolor = text color and black lime green = talking (even if the format #00000). I do HTML (no java, no flash, but a simple formatting) for my web sites and ebay auctions and have never had this problem other than on this laptop.

  After the search for other sources mentioning accessibility features, I thought about it. The IE Options for accessibility and the colors were not the solution, but by going to control panel, I found other accessibility options and had the function of "High contrast" which forced most of the elements without color and also made most of the invisible extra boxes (no border).

  When highlighted often is difficult to tell what color the text. You can work around this by doing the above, pressing ctrl-H or cmd - H on the keyboard and the highlight will be removed, but the text remains selected. Its exactly the same procedure that you use to make the mobile dotted lines disappear just leaving an active selection. Obviously the text tool must be still in use for all this to work with text.

  I noticed that this has happened after the update, not too long ago. I tried to print a separation to film using only the black channel, and it gave me an error saying that nothing prints because there is nothing in this color. So I did some research and discovered that all I've done lately the color of the text was 'Recording' instead of black. Why is this? It is not difficult to change to black, but it's a waste of time that whenever I need to change the default in my document. I don't see a way to change color permanently in the dark. I've never had to deal with the color of black text is NOT by default. All this experience? How can I fix it?

  Open the Swatches palette and click on the small button T in text format. Set the [Black] fill color.

  I have a user who is currently using Photoshop CS6 on a Windows 7 Machine and when to manipulate a text box, he sees the text above where the actual text box. I tried to format the text in multiple fonts and sizes with the same result. I also created a new text box on a new layer with the same results.

  Any ideas on that? Is there an option im missing which could solve this problem?

  You must physically delete (or rename) the preference files or, if you use the Alt, Ctrl, and shift, don't forget you get a confirmation dialog box.

  This resets all settings in Photoshop default.

  I porabe hepatitis has been able to find out how to set the caption of a text field above the value of the field.  I can't imagine that it is not possible.  Basically, what I want is:

  If you select the object and pass the object / tab layout, you will see a drop down, towards the end. He is legend. It will be by default "to left". Just change that to 'top' or 'top' (?) and you will get the desired effect.

  In Pages, type your number. Select the Edit menu: Emoji & symbols. This will launch the character Panel. In the search table, type "combining macron" without the quotes. The first character to appear on the central display is the macron combining.
