  I need help for a formula; I want to enter a specific word in a text field (labeled: food Group1).

  On the forms fields can be visible or hidden. Appear implies that they are not visible or do not exist.

  If you have a limited number of registrations and specific words in a specific foramt, I would use a drop down box.

  "Combobox1" so has "A specific text" selected, but the "k" key does not appear visible, and the rest of the code (a calculation) returns empty.

  If I delete the internal code of "for () {}", the rest of the calculation works, if the syntax error is specific to the part of text comparison.

  I tried 'value', ".innerHTML", ". export.value", '.change' and '.changeEx' instead of '.text', nothing has worked.

  The value property returns the value of export of the selected item if it has one, otherwise it returns what appears, which is what you call text. SO if someone type something, you can retrieve it with the value property, even though you really better to use valueAsString. Check the console JavaScript (Ctrl + J) to see if errors are reported.

  If you need to get the value of the export value display, you can use the field currentValueIndices property to get the index of the selected item and use it with the field getItemAt method to get the display value. A code example is the Acrobat JavaScript reference.

  I don't notice anything wrong with your script updated, if you add a break after the k.display statement statement, since you do not need to keep a loop once it is set. Unclear if it is initialized to display.hidden somehow, what would make sense.

• Modernization of the OPA - documentation?

  Where can we find documentation on how to set the OPA from 10.3 to 10.4.
  
  I guess on the desktop that OPM 10.3 must be uninstalled and installed on 10.4. If all goes well there is no parameters which will be lost in this process.
  
  But we want more documentation on how to upgrade server OPA... We do not want to lose a lot of our existing settings. We believe that we need to modernize our rulesets. Is there an easy way to do this? We use IIS 7.5 on W2K8.
  
  My current hypothesis is that I have to do the following:
  
  Copy the files from the current server settings to a new location and open them in a text editor for the future copy and paste.
  I need to stop IIS.
  Then I need to copy the determinations of the Web and determinations on existing directories top server directories.

  The OPA Déterminations Web upgrade requires that you merge with the new version, any changes.

  1. make sure you keep a copy of the existing Web application

  2. If you have made changes to any of the template files (*.vm) you must merge these changes into the new models of determinations of Web. These do not change between versions

  3. If you have made changes to any in the configuration, you must merge the changes into the new determinations of the Web. Once more, they do not change between versions.

  4. the plugins or extensions must be recompiled with the new version (dll or pots) libraries.

  5. all rulebases will need to re-compiled b in the corresponding version of the OPM

  For the changes of properties and model, you must use a text comparison tool like WinMerge (http://winmerge.org/) to help cope with any complexity. For the most part, you should expect that plugins or extensions will require no changes or minor, but do not test them again against a new version.

  Determinations server you probably don't have to worry about steps 4 and 5, although if you have made changes to configuration file/properties (step 3) you will need to merge these changes as well.

• Problem with comparison of input text

  I tried searching for an answer to this question, but I did have a little chance to find something that actually fits the question.

  I created three zones of text entry with the instance names: input001, input002 and input003.

  The three boxes are used for a comparison of values of simple text for an exercise in question.

  The entry text boxes have been entered restricted so that only the values A, B, C or D can be entered (representing the four possible answers).

  I created a button and event listener and the following function.

  When I compile the SWF, I get the following error:

  1067: constraint implied of a Boolean value to a number that is unrelated.

  The error is attributed to the combination of else-if statements. If I comment on the other if statements, the SWF compile without error and the code runs correctly, when I enter the correct answers in entry areas (A, D, C).

  What I don't understand is why my comparisons of strings in the world if the statements are generating an error, or why this error would have something to do with Boolean or number, as I compare the string value of text entry boxes (input001.text, for example) with a string.

• Text with the letters No. and TM sometimes display as exhibitor.

  On some web pages, words that begin with the letters NOT or include TM were part of the word displayed as an exhibitor. For example, if the sentence starts with the Word no, the part not of the word has triggered o and stressed that it is an abbreviation for the word number. A reference as STM32F103 number will have the letters TM raised as if it were an abbreviation for the word mark.

  I tried to place different fonts and found that specifically put a font while not allowing the site to replace, it avoids the problem. Unfortunately some sites use characters that I can't identify just, so I normally run with the option to allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of using fixed fonts.

  On ebay, for example, I have the problem with the characters superscript. I tried to use Google Chrome is a point of comparison and found that the pages display correctly with chrome, but not with Firefox. Search on Google or Yahoo gives me a results page that does not have the characters superscript.

  Is there something that I am missing in the configuration of Firefox which is the cause? I need like sites to choose their own fonts, because otherwise I find myself with looking for very strange pages (even weirder to have numbers or TM poster evil).

  What the font is used for these characters?

  You right click on a web page and select "Inspect element" to open the Inspector (Firefox/tools > Web Developer).

  • You can check the font used for the text selected in the tab fonts in the right pane of the Inspector.

  You can try different default fonts temporarily disable fonts site to test the selected default font.

  • Edit > Preferences > fonts and colors of content > advanced

  You can do a test of fonts to see if you can identify not police work.

  Hello. Thanks for this direction. Problem turned out to be coming through "Elegant". A style to remove ads from eBay has proved to be the root of the problem, and eBay has been fully functional as soon as I disabled the style.
  I really liked this style... think I'll keep it for viewing and clear to sell! Elegant, which is easy using the toolbar in the Firefox Add-on.

  The comparison is between FF4 on top and Chrome below. See the text of the article to see the difference in the fonts to display. This happens almost every Web sites that allows the browser to choose the font (Google, Bing, etc.).

  I tried to watch the display of content options and set them by default. Also exhaustively, I googled this problem without results that were helpful.

  to fix it, I went to this web site and downloaded the Arial font (not the Mizo Arial at the top, it is about five fonts down) and placed on the Arial in my Windows/Fonts folder:

• configuration of the plugin simple text report

  I am updating a project of Teststand 4.2 for 2012. The original was a text via a report updated the sequential model and ICB code. I have trying to find current best practices to achieve a similar report.

  I installed the plugin to report simple text example but can find no documentation on how to configure it.

  The example works fine, but the columns have no limits or the measured value and have other items that I didn't need.

  Looking through the code I can see these are defined in the settings of the plugin, but I do not see where in my project to put.

  I'll also have to configure the report header and the name of the file.

  What exactly do you mean by "key values"? Are you referring to the Key property in the NI_SimpleTextReport_CVI.seq?

  

  In order to get the type of comparison of a numerical limit test, for example, you can use an Expression like this post:

  Regarding the addition of the results of the report, the key values are a string of research compared to a result object. In this case, you can add what you want to log on to the other results of this approach. Then, you can add a new column to the report in the NI_SimpleTextReport_CVI.seq file and the value of the key:

• Comparison of reference

  I have references for dynamic dispatch two screws, two clones of the same VI, with the pooling of the clones re-entrant execution. They run in parallel, a little as the way in which the framework of the actor launches actors. When I use equal to primitive on the references, it returns true, despite the hexadecimal values of the references being different. If I type mount references I32 and then use equal to primitive, I'm wrong.

  My only thought is that this has something to do with the possibly overloaded equals operator for references, and perhaps because I use shared clones or something references, although different values can point to the same location in memory and it actually compares to that. I know for example, that you can have two different pointers pointing to the same location in memory. I don't know if this is possible with good references. Just grasp at straws, with my very limited low level, text from the programming knowledge. Any thoughts, anyone?

  I have a problem with how the two enter keys on the keyboard Act.
  Admission to the center of action keyboard as a newline, in other words, a line in a string of finishing and start a new.

  I see you have 8.6, but maybe this picture (an extract from V9) will show you an approach (at least for a VI running).  You can use a key down? filter throw the Enter key or replace it with a return of the event.

  

  This image shows how to replace the back entry, you could also wire the result of the comparison to the terminal of discard to disable the Enter key.  It shows how to do for a set (current) VI, you can also use the Down button? event for a control of the channel limit the effect.

  I have a huge text with a different pressure values in different ports. My goal is to find the average value of the two ports and the dP and this value, I need to find the max value of dP.For that please see the attached VI. and see the structure 1st case of this home VI. This I already have.

  Basically, I would take the attached VI and change so that the user can send the value of control 'String In' to the indicator "String Out" either by pressing the 'Return' key or press the button 'send string. '

  This example has nothing to do with the RETURN key specifically.  It fires all simply whenever the value of the control is changed.  If you click outside the text box or on another still controls the value changes and still the event is raised.  This is often the desired so if it works in your application, you good to go.

  You CAN ONLY answer a particular key if you wish.  Set your event to meet 'This VI' > key down.  Then, read the proposal Vcle on the left side of the structure of the event and compare it to the RETURN (for example).  The Boolean result of the comparison gets connected to a structure to deal with your code to run inside.  You can also wire Vcle directly to a case structure and execute different code based on which key was pressed last.
