• Glitch Visual blackBerry 10 opening text conversation in Z10 after OS 10.3.2

  I have a Z10 with OS 10.3.2.858 and since the update with the Visual changes to the app from native text messages, I have sometimes this annoying problem when I open a conversation either the Hub or the high instant notification - the screen will begin to Flash as a madman and the conversation looks like it scrolls vertically repeatedly (but not yet in the way he would if someone did actually just very wildly) and If I try to get the keyboard to expand, it will continue to glitch with the keyboard it and not allow to type, and I have to wait some time after touching the screen several times so he can stop acting in order to read messages and actually use the keyboard.   The most common thing to do every time an update of the OS causes problems is to perform a clean OS reload.

  Official methods, which will be controlled as to what exact OS versions are available:

  Non-official methods, which are cleaner and allow you to choose a version of the OS that maybe your carrier (or anyone they control your offers) delays in approval:

  Of course, before you start this, you want a good backup link, a manual copy of the memory of your device to your PC and complete documentation of your configuration (identification information of account, adding applications, configurations, etc.). • Numberic channel using Dict.Add text conversion

  I have several channels that have a text value for them and I used a Dict.add function to change the values of a number so it can be traced linearly.  However, I had to create a separate for each channel in the set data function.  I want to generalize it more so it will come out and watch an all channels and compare the values of the dictionary already created.  I have attached a sample form of how I currently do not change and I played with a new form called TxtToNum.vbs which is more widespread.  I have 6 dictionary that I use in total as well so who plays in the task.   I do a lot of work of script and could really use it little assistance.

  My text messages, new and old are inaccessible. New messages appear as received and the first list displayed in the index but I can't read any of them. They show just empty when it is open. Any suggestions please?

  Settings-applications-all-messages, force stop and erase the data. Turn it back on.

  RIM has not exposed everything sucks API for developers of third-party applications. There are a few other providers that has these fecilities and libraries for the use of third party. I could name as a shade, talkhose etc... Dn't know how procedure how you can exploit them.

  It simply refers to the icon next to the name in the message section.  For example, my BBM conversations have a small icon of phone next to them, while my sms have a 'bubble' and my emails have an envelope. Don't know what the 'band' would look like.

  Using a date in a column, I want to update a text field in another table for "mmddFH" or "mmddLH". Here "MMDD" is month/day the 'date' and FH and LH represent during the first half and the last half of the month.
  
  I would attribute
  
  (1) FH for all dates between 28 and 13
  for example, 29/03/2011 will become 0329FH
  for example 10/04/2011 will become 0410FH
  
  (2) LH for all dates between 14 and 27
  for example, 15/04/2011 will become 0415LH

  Returns a string like "0613FH" or "0614LH".

  As Dom said, think very carefully if you need to store it, rather than generation it as it as needed.

• Kerning after text conversion

  I work in a company sign where we get hundreds of orders per day. But going back, we are connected that everyone and their grandmother is trying to 'help' our art Department to find ways to get more orders made. Simply speaking, we do not have the staff to deal with the recent influx, but corporate is very cheap to make things THAT way.  Our production manager asked what exactly takes our orders if a long time, and we say it's the kerning of the art our customers send us. It is typical that we can actually create about 10% of the art we send and 90% is art of customer that us 'clean up', this includes the kerning and tracking, removal of nodes, fixing lines... countless things. In any case, our current model is to accept these signs converted, so we are not dealing with the police (if we did, we would have thousands and thousands of fonts sent by our customers). So what we end up doing takes the converted text and move it visually, many signs that can take hours if there is a lot of text. Training of our customers is out of the question as well. It seems most of them know typography design of a chimpanzee. SO, my question is, can we have an automated to this approach? Can one kern/track text in a document that has been converted to vectors with the same or at least near the facility as with the living text? If this isn't the case, in illustrator, including at - it another program which can achieve this? My production manager believes there is a way, and I have my doubts. I hear whispers of some program of Gerber or Artcam... but our design team of switching to a new software suite would be costly and come to a curve that seems counterproductive to me.

  Well, that's about all, you can do it. I doubt you will find a software solution for a problem which seems to be caused by a very unusual workflow. People invented the digital fonts in order to facilitate these tasks and your company is the first that I have I don't know not not using fonts for editing text. Sorry, I don't think that there is an easy way to do this.
