  • In Windows Vista, when I type text in an e-mail message and then try to highlight, the text disappears.

I HAVE WINDOWS VISTA. WHEN I TYPE THE TEXT ON THE E-MAILS AND TRY AGAIN AND HIGHLIGHT THE TEXT DISAPPEARS FROM IT. I'VE BEEN ADVISED THAT PERHAPS THE COLOR IS WHITE (I THINK THAT OUR GIRL CAN ACCIDENTALLY CHANGED SOMETHING SINCE IT IS A NEW PROBLEM)
I DON'T KNOW HOW TO CHANGE THE COLOR. PLEASE CAN YOU HELP. Thank you.

original title: TEXT DISAPPEARS WHEN I TRY TO highlight THE TEXT

You can open Notepad and type something.  Press the Insert key, and then try to go back and change what you type and you will see the difference between insert and Overtype.

I can't help with Firefox, but in IE, you can change the colours via Tools | Internet Options | The colors.  I think Firefox has a similar option, but you need to ask in a forum of Firefox to see the option.  As it happens in the browser, then it is clearly a browser problem and not a problem in Windows mail.

  • Unable to print selected text in an e-mail message.

Using Thunderbird 24.6.0, Windows 7, Brother mfc 260c printer window print doesn't let me choose this option.
I saw an answer to something like that, but it has been dated to 2006 and suggested installing an add-on.

I don't know the answer, but he probably has not changed over the years. Thunderbird has really very basic printing features, and the selection option is supported by the printer driver and not Thunderbird is not available for use. (Note that this window belongs to the printer driver not Thunderbird)

So I think this add-on is always the answer https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/printingtools/

  • Can the text indicating "See attachment" that appears in the body of an e-mail message edited?

When I join an e-mail text that says: "See annex" appears in the body of the e-mail message. I would like to change this text to say something else. I can't find where this text is stored in the settings, and I don't know yet if it is generated by thunderbird or the software that I use which called thunderbird.

Anyone know where this text is stored, or if it can be changed?

Nothing like what you're talking about, so I'm not sure that it really is.

When you click on write an e-mail and then add an attachment, I see nothing but a name of attachment in the upper right of the email.

  • Analyze the text file javax.mail.Message

    Hello

I have e-mail messages saved to disk in the form of text files and I'd like to load each message as a javax.mail.Message and analyzed. The reason I want to do is that I will be able to use the java mail API and I already have an analysis program that can scan the headers and the body. Is there a possible way to do this?

    Thank you

If the emails are saved as EML file, then you can load them as MimeMessage and then easily analyze.

    Source InputStream = new FileInputStream (emlFile);
    MimeMessage message = new MimeMessage (mailSession, source);

If you mean an e-mail message, Firefox is not 'do' by email.

If you use Firefox to access your e-mail, you use "webmail". You must seek assistance from your service provider or a forum for this service.

If your problem is with Mozilla Thunderbird, let know us and we can move this thread to the queue of Thunderbird. This issue is currently in the queue of Firefox to get answers.

  • When I reply to an e-mail message, I need an option to have the active attachment to this email (as in redirect)...

When I send an e-mail message, the attachment is automatically added to the new e-mail message. It is ok. However when I answer, the attachment does not come and sometimes I need to have the current attachment. So I need an option like "reply with attachment" or something like that...

    Thank you

    Re: Forwarding

You have the possibility to transmit the received email 'inline' or as an 'attachment '.
This can be set up here:
'Tools' > 'Options' > "Composition" > tab "General".
It is because you do not react to a specific e-mail - selection of information of another person to another person, who may be better sent as an attachment.

    Re: response
In this case, you have the possibility:

    • include the email received in a response
    • Does not include the e-mail received in a response
    • include the selected part (citation) of the email received in response.

A response implies an ongoing conversation and if the option to include the conversation is available.
This is put in place here:
"Tools" > "Account settings" > "Composition & addressing" for the e-mail account.

But whether you choose to "automatically quote the original message when replying" or not, you can always highlight a section of text and then click 'Reply' to include only the selected section of the text.

A response will also include all received attachments attached to the original email because you don't need to send the shippers own spare.

Otherwise, you create a new message 'Write' and attach the original e-mail, so this isn't technically an answer - you do not use the 'Reply' button and these emails will not be strung. It is more difficult to see the continuity of the conversation.

  • How to check my hotmail (while zooming) e-mail messages without having to scroll down to each new e-mail (after pushing to the top of the arrow for the next message)?

In other words, I want to be able to change the default value from the scroll position of "high" to "low" or customize it to "somewhere between the two," so that I don't have to scroll down before the reading of each new e-mail message.

Have you tried the Firefox zoom feature? Font size and zoom - increase the size of web pages
You can "zoom in" all sites using this add-on: NoSquint. After setting your overall zoom level, you can still adjust the zoom on different sites.
After the installation of NoSquint, click on the % in the bar of the add-on call site preferences, then click the global settings button, then the zoom tab.

If you do not have the bar the module displayed, you can click the new tab button ("+") or a box empty bar tab to the right of the item and choose the module bar on the shortcut menu.

You can experiment with sizes greater than 125%, but I wouldn't not much higher than 150% unless you have a large screen high resolution.

If there are sites that are still a concern, feel free to post their URLs.

You can find more information about the features of zoom Firefox offer in these articles:

Font size and zoom - increase the size of web pages - to zoom text only

Font size and zoom - increase the size of web pages - to zoom the entire page (including images etc.)

  • I want a newsletter to read directly in the body of the e-mail message

I did a 4 page layout newsletter on my Macbook Pro, OS X Yosemite. I don't want to be seen as an attachment when someone opens it. I want to read in the body of the email. Anyone know how?

There is no simple answer to this unique.

"To begin to realize that e-mails have no notion of the 'pages'... they are just continuous flow of content, so it is unlikely that you can duplicate your ' 4 page newsletter" in an e-mail message. The best you can do is to approach, but it will become really confusing if you have items that cross the spread or are kept on separate pages.

Second to that, 'style' (i.e. non-text gross) emails use HTML to format, you must convert your document Pages in HTML format. There is no one-click this option. The best you're likely to get is to copy all Pages content and paste it into a new e-mail message (more a few cleaning). Have you tried? how it worked?

The advantage of this approach is that non e-mail clients will always see a text version of the email.

The other option is to 'print' each page as a separate image (for example JPEG) and insert 4 JPEG images in the e-mail message. This will ensure your shape/layout layout, even if it is somewhat difficult for users to navigate... and text browsers will not see any content.

At the end of the day, you're still at the mercy of the messaging client of the recipient, each of which can have different options for the display of rich content.

So, still today, fill the physical (printed/hard copy) and the digital worlds / email is still a bit of black magic.

  • How can I send HTML as text in an e-mail

I am trying to send HTML as text in an e-mail, but the message still appears in the html code.  I'm using LabView 8.6.

I tried the advice in the following links:

    http://forums.NI.com/NI/board/message?board.ID=170&message.ID=94185#M94185

    http://digital.NI.com/public.nsf/WebSearch/E9544A158AFE8D1C8625705400751DE1?OpenDocument

But it does not work.  When I change "SMTP Email MIME text content - Type.vi", the email is now sent with no text in the body and attachment data file.

Does anyone else have this problem?  I triplechecked for simple errors, but the Advanced Knowledge Base has been quite easy to follow - it just works.

    Any help would be appreciated!

Often, when I'm compiling an e-mail message, a light touch to any key will delete everything!  So frustrating and why this happens?

    original title: automatically deleted text

If you touch CTRL-A you will highlight all characters in the message.  If you then press any character, it will replace what is highlighted by this character.  It is a plausible explanation for what you are experiencing.  Be careful if you type a capital A and use the SHIFT key CTRL pressed.
