  When you start a text layer, you can click on the color box of text at the top that will launch the color picker (text) and from there you can select your desired color.  -See the attachments-

• Message box color settings disabled when you use the dialog "Windows color and appearance".

  When you use the configuration dialog box 'Window color and appearance', why are there color settings invalid?  I want to remove the default 'Pastel Pink' value that I find unacceptable.

  I can switch to "Classic Windows" that uses no pastel pink color, but "Classic Windows" does not support "Aero Peek", and the windows look pretty tired.  You can only take "Classic Windows" for many years.

  Color settings are disabled for: buttons, Message box, title of Palette, scroll bar.

  Help, please!

  Me too I'm frustrated by that.   Found the old windows with very honest XP environment.   I used the advanced settings, but has not found a way to save the changes with a label, so I knew that the changes you made.   It is just Frigging trial and error and very frustrating.

  Why are there no way to return either to the default value (not found a default label) or save the settings changed under a name?    It is a productivity KILLER.

  Interface user of Windows 7 is theme based. The colors are defined by the theme.

  You still have many color options that can be used to change the colors.

  Right click on the desktop and select Personalize. Click on the color of the window at the bottom of the window box.

  You can select one of the colors in the boxes colored at the top.

  Adjust the intensity of the color with the cursor.

  Click on the color down mixer and you can a lot of variations on all the different color choices.

• Menu is wrong color and the text unformatted when published?

  I publish direct from Muse to Business Catalyst. I tried to download all the files. I went even manually and remove the entire site and reissued, but I get the same result. Any help is greatly appreciated!

  There are many solutions. A more simple: put the text and the items colored in the back and put the 'shape' on it. Configuration of the 'shape' become transparent in a stationary state.

  IIRC, this has come up before, maybe a year or to go back in time. I think that there is a solution. Someone might remember more about this.

  Try this. I have Excel 2007 so it can vary between different versions...

  In Excel, and draw your desired shape.

  Right-click in the form, and then click

  In 'Fill' change the color of what you want.

  In the line of color changes the color of what you want

  In the line style change the width you want.

  Then click on your form should now be necessary.

  But now right click again in the form and click on 'set the form by default'.

  I think that all future forms in this journal will be the right color and line as required.

• Help! Arbitrary text defined as English UK boxes

  Hello!

  So I have a book with 23 files file, and I started to go through them all and start their spelling. All of a sudden, he highlights the "color" and said it should be spelled with a u. Yes, does not happen! I noticed that the text box is set as British English. Then I noticed that arbitrary areas are defined this way. We worked with InCopy as well, so I think that the editor may have incorrectly tongue (or it has been wrong from the beginning and it didn't fix it). Is it possible to change all the text boxes in a document in US English? I tried the command set + something, but not luck. It drives me crazy. I don't know how to fix them one at a time, but I really hope that there is a shortcut!

  You can use find/replace. Set it to find English: UK and replace with English: USA in the advanced character formats section of the formatting options. Search the whole doc.

  Note that this will change all the words that SHOULD be UK.

  Thank you for the update. If you notice anything important missing, as the parameters for an add-on, you can open this prefs.old file in a text editor and probably find it in there. We'll be there if you need help in this sense.

  What you want to replicate from El Capitan in Yosemite?

  1. The file containing all the samples stored color of the Apple color picker?
  2. The color picker itself?
  3. Both?

  Question 1 is a simple transfer of a single file.

  1. From the Finder, press shift + cmd + G keys to go to the folder. Copy and paste the following in this dialog box:
     ~/Library/colors
  2. The file has your stored color swatch is: NSColorPanelSwatches.plist
     1. On Yosemite, quit Word, Pages and other applications that use the Apple color chart
     2. Repeat step 1 on your machine of Yosemite
     3. Rename (do not remove) the Yosemite NSColorPanelSwatches.plist existing NSColorPanelSwatches.plist.old
     4. Copy the color swatch file El Capitan in Yosemite file location
  3. Launch the applications that use the color chart to see Apple El Capitan from swatches.
