Text of label vertical alignment control

Hi How can we vertical align the text of the label at the top... as there is no ownership for this

Here is my code: -.

< mx:Box textAlign = "left" id = "bxMain" height = "13" backgroundColor = "#f3f1ee" x = "80" y = "5" >
< mx:Label color = 'black' id = 'lblDrawerName"fontWeight ="bold"textAlign ="left"fontSize ="11"width ="150"text ='{data. DrawerName} "x ="0"/ >
< / mx:Box >

the label is a box.the problem I m is the text of the label is cutting down... So I want to align on top.what I have to do is to do it within the height of the specified area is 13...

other thing I can do is decrease the size of the font to 10, but if I do the helvetica font I said overall the app... not "BOLD" as 10 and less than 10 rest the fontweight property stops working

What to do in this case...

Thank you

Hello

Use the canvas instead of the box and put a negative value for the y of the Label

    The section of the Menu on this site ~ > Menu

    Is there a way to get around this or fix it. I tried to look at the code in Dreamweaver and I saw some weird (> Span <) tags, I wonder if it might have to do with it.

    The goal is to align the right side (price) perfectly. I even had to do the 'follow-up' individually to each line. It works, according to what I'm working on is the platform, I work and publish from a Mac, it would look good no matter what browser I use, but when played on a PC of the text gets misaligned. The same thing happens if I work and publish from a PC, it would show misaligned on a Mac.

    Hope that there is a reasonable explanation for this.

    The main cause of alignment is the fact that the text uses a 'Web Safe' police. A police 'web safe' is not a single font. It is rather a list/stack of fonts for the browser of the visitor to the website to try up what he finds one that is available to the visitor's computer. That means on a single computer, the text is in a font (Arial for example) and on another computer, it's another (i.e. Helvetica) with the following impacts caused by the widths of character between the two police forces. The best way to reduce this variation between viewers of site is to use a Web font (one edge Web fonts or a Web of Hosted police).

    Alignment will not be still quite consistent between browsers (or even the versions of the browsers), because each browser has it's own text layout engine and engines sometimes change, but the variation will be drastically reduced.

  • Questions about css vertical-align

    given a list of the CSA page: Technologies of Mac OS X

    I do not understand vertical-align.  I will like to center the text in the vertical alignment.  I don't know what basis means, or intermediate. Where Ref base?  background of the characters or what?  I don't know how to work the percentages.

    In addition to all this lack of knowledge, 5% of the centers of communities Word for some reason I don't know.  'Contact support' appears to be centered for some reason any.

  • Vertically align multiple objects?

    For a brochure, I created a design of base consisting of a header, a continuous line and a text block containing a few paragraphs. To the right, I've created a spot for support information, which has a dashed line aligned vertically to the top of the page the paragraphs of text to the left (showing this alignment with a green line).

    Because the text can vary in length (I use vertical AutoSize under Options of text block), I'd give all this content to Center vertically on each page. The included Golden rectangles represent approximately an equal vertical size. If the header is increased to three lines (this block of text is anchored to the bottom) or if the text below gets more long/plus short (this text frame is anchored at the top).

    I also want to keep the vertical alignment of the text to the left starting point and the dotted line + the content to the right (indicated by the green line).

    I did a lot of research on this community discussion, as thus carried out several searches on Google and found only a few very basic information about groups and alignment and distribution. Can someone point me in the right direction?

    Second example (showing more text all in vertical alignment, as well as the vertical lock point with dotted supporting content to the right):

    Hello

    I'm not sure you really need of automatic sizing on your block of text - if you make the text throughout the depth of the frame and then just Center your content it contains.

    With regard to the supporting content goes, I would like to group the items and then anchor text in your main text block. Then, it moves upward and down according to the amount of text you have. It doesn't matter that he will sit outside the main text frame.

    Hello

    You should first establish what layout you use I guess you used a vertical arrangement. Then you have tabs in your editor so that they become part of the text string

  • File IDML opening with vertical alignment of text in the box set "Center".

    I got a batch of files, asking me to review. They were saved as files CC as well as .idml. I have used .idml since the sender used plugins files that are not included in the package. Using the .idml, I do not get the warning about the missing plugins. However, when I open the idml files that all text boxes are the vertical value Center instead of top. Very tedious. CC files opened correctly (with the exception of the warning about the missing plugins).

    Is it possible to open the idmls and get the vertical alignment to open as "top"? Or should I use the CC files and ignore the warning on the plugins?

    Thank you!

    Tim

    Guess I'm stuck with opening the idml docs and manually change each vertical alignment of text box.

    With Find\Change you can:

    Find/replace > object tab

    Tye: Blocks of text

    Change object Format: click on specify the attributes to modify > text frame general Options > vertical Justification > Align > Top

    Then find and change or change all

  • Text 'Vertical Align Center' and a form

    Hello developers,

    I wonder if someone could give me a hand with the alignment of text and forms? I want to align a number at the center of a circle. "Horizontal center alignment" works well. "Center vertical alignment", however, does not give the desired result. The number turns out to be higher in the cycle (see figure below). The distance between the top of the circle to the top of the number zero, X, is shorter than the distance between the bottom of the circle and the lower part of the number zero. Is it possible for these two distances equal?

    Vectorize the text and align it. Editable text is aligned based on the em box, which determines the alignment of the character, not only the visible contours...

    Live Cycle Designer ES 8.2.1.nnnnnnnnnnnnnnn (Acrobat 9) on a PC Win7

    How do you change the vertical alignment of the text in a text field. By default seems to be centered.

    Have a large field of observations.  Allow multiple lines works well, but to be Top vertical alignment.

    Have seen some discussion and at least one of the possible solutions, but can't make it work as I can't find the same items in the described pallets.

    Thank you

    Turn on the paragraph palette by selecting it in the Windows menu. Then click on the object that you want to manipulate and on this palette paragraph are alignment icons that allow you to set the text to start at th etop of the field instead of in the middle.

    Hope that helps

  • need vertically align the text in the footer at the bottom

    I tried to add ' vertical-align: bottom 'and' vertical-align: text-bottom ' in the footer in CSS, but don't seem to do anything.

    http://studiot15.com/b/DAV/

    any suggestions?

    Thank you.

    The vertical-align property is rather strange. If I remember correctly, it works only with items inline, such as images and table cells.

    To move your text to the bottom of the footer, add padding-top: 200px; to the #footer rule.

  • Cascades - Vertical alignment does not work after you add a higher container

    Hi all

    I am facing a problem with vertical alignment... Trying to play and to imagine a way to transfer my apps to BB10, I wanted to create a page layout and Center my components in the center of the screen. I created the necessary containers and things, it worked, but then, my baggage was obviously only in the center of the screen too.

    So I decided to add a top-level container that would hold only the background. But then, my content is not centered (in the container for the child). I do not understand why and I don't know I'm missing something.

    Here is the structure:

    {Page}
    content: container}

    layout: {StackLayout}
    }
    background: Color.create ("#555555")
    {Of container
    layout: {StackLayout}
    }
    horizontalAlignment: HorizontalAlignment.Fill
    verticalAlignment: VerticalAlignment.Center / / DOES NOT WORK

    {Of container
    horizontalAlignment: HorizontalAlignment.Fill
    layout: {DockLayout}
    }
    {Label
    text: "save location".
    horizontalAlignment: HorizontalAlignment.Left
    verticalAlignment: VerticalAlignment.Center
    textStyle {}
    Base: tsd1.style
    }
    }
    ToggleButton {}
    horizontalAlignment: HorizontalAlignment.Right
    }
    }

    Anyone have any idea on this? Is there a simple way to have centered on the content with a background full screen? I tried a lot of different ways, but none gave me the result I wanted (except setting a padding but that is not as I wanted).

    Thank you

    Add an empty container with spaceQuota 1 down. It will take all of the remaining space.

    Container {
      layoutProperties: StackLayoutProperties {
        spaceQuota: 1
      }
    }

    If you want to Center controls, adds another container empty in front of them.

    Also try to play with preferredWidth: Infinity / preferredHeight: Infinity and modes of different adjustment (filling or Center).

  • Problem: The Page with the title bar, Vertical alignment Center does not work BB 10 keyboard (720 x 720)

    Hello

    I want centered vertically align something (for example, a label) on a page with the qml following, but it is not aligned properly on the keyboard BB (720 x 720), it aligns on the contrary always on top. It aligns not centered vertically as expected on BB 10 all touch (1280 x 768).

    import bb.cascades 1.0

    Page {
        titleBar: TitleBar {
            title: "Title"
        }
        Container {
            layout: DockLayout {
            }
            background: Color.create("#444444")
            verticalAlignment: VerticalAlignment.Fill
            Label {
                text: "label"
                verticalAlignment: VerticalAlignment.Center
            }
        }
    }

    I realize also realize that if I remove the title bar, and then it snaps as I want. Anyone have a solution this? Thank you.

    Try with this:

        titleBar: TitleBar {
            title: "Title"
            scrollBehavior: TitleBarScrollBehavior.Sticky
        }
