Text 'Vertical Align Center' and a form

Hello developers,

I wonder if someone could give me a hand with the alignment of text and forms? I want to align a number at the center of a circle. "Horizontal center alignment" works well. "Center vertical alignment", however, does not give the desired result. The number turns out to be higher in the cycle (see figure below). The distance between the top of the circle to the top of the number zero, X, is shorter than the distance between the bottom of the circle and the lower part of the number zero. Is it possible for these two distances equal?

Vectorize the text and align it. Editable text is aligned based on the em box, which determines the alignment of the character, not only the visible contours...

  • Can someone Vertical align this (and perhaps fix the blocking)?

    Here's my problem:

    For the life of me I can not set the 'Add to Cart' button from Paypal.  I want it in the middle.  In Firefox, it looks perfect (well, almost perfect), but in IE it is not in the middle.  I tried to add ' vertical align: middle "in every possible position and adjust the padding and margin everywhere too... nothing works.  (Not to mention, it seems, slightly to the left as well horizontally, but I can live with that).  In addition, blocking worked perfect in Firefox and IE until I added the "add to cart".  Now, the 'blocking' is not quite right in Internet Explorer.  I would like to only it where when someone scrolls anywhere in the cell, the region becomes a darker gray.  I had this problem with the line-height of 250% until the "add to cart" button came and which becomes in Internet Explorer.  Now, I can increase this, but then the menu bar just keep getting bigger and bigger until it seems too big/too high.

    Can anyone help?

  • Problem: The Page with the title bar, Vertical alignment Center does not work BB 10 keyboard (720 x 720)

    Hello

    I want centered vertically align something (for example, a label) on a page with the qml following, but it is not aligned properly on the keyboard BB (720 x 720), it aligns on the contrary always on top. It aligns not centered vertically as expected on BB 10 all touch (1280 x 768).

    import bb.cascades 1.0

    Page {
        titleBar: TitleBar {
            title: "Title"
        }
        Container {
            layout: DockLayout {
            }
            background: Color.create("#444444")
            verticalAlignment: VerticalAlignment.Fill
            Label {

                verticalAlignment: VerticalAlignment.Center
            }
        }
    }

    I realize also realize that if I remove the title bar, and then it snaps as I want. Anyone have a solution this? Thank you.

    Try with this:

        titleBar: TitleBar {
            title: "Title"
            scrollBehavior: TitleBarScrollBehavior.Sticky
        }

  • Vertically-aligned graphic and title

    I'm trying to implement graphic images, with numbered titles (legends), aligned to the left of the image. I have a layout of single column with a head on one side. I wish that the graphics to go into the column and the title to go to the top of the left side, vertically aligned with the top of the chart.

    My chart title format has alignment head on one side and is in the right place. The anchor point for the frame that contains the chart is at the end of this paragraph of title. I tried different positions of anchor, but can't seem to get the image in the column, aligned vertically with the title. Does anyone do this?

    You can adjust the settings in the respective paratgs.

    For the legend of Figure paratag, set the alignment of the heads-side be "superior".

    For reinforcement anchored in the next paratag placed at the insertion point.

    • Have a paragraph between the chart title and the chassis, breaks the "keep with next" between the two, leaving the possiblitly to have the title on one page and the graphics on the next.

    The anchored frame should be in this next paratag. There should not be anything between the two.

  • need vertically align the text in the footer at the bottom

    I tried to add ' vertical-align: bottom 'and' vertical-align: text-bottom ' in the footer in CSS, but don't seem to do anything.

    any suggestions?

    Thank you.

    The vertical-align property is rather strange. If I remember correctly, it works only with items inline, such as images and table cells.

    To move your text to the bottom of the footer, add padding-top: 200px; to the #footer rule.

  • In the Label alignment Center

    Hello
    I work in flex 4.

    I use a string named str varaible and I stored
    Str = "would become computer literal to alll his things in six months with a computer."

    I want the str variable is divided into San and William. I used to divide the str variable by using the following lines

    if(Str.Length>50)
    {
    San = str.substring (0, str.lastIndexOf ("", 50));
    slithe = str.substring (str.lastIndexOf ("", 50) + 1);
    firstLine();
    Alert.Show (William);
    }
    on the other
    {
    San = str;
    slithe ="";
    firstLine();

    }

    So I want to create labels of words each using these lines

    private void firstLine (): void
    {
    Alert.Show (San);
    var l1:Number = fline.length;
    Alert.Show (L1. ToString());

    myArr = Fline.Split ("");
    myarr1 = slithe. Split("");

    var l1:Number = Number (l);
    = myarr.length inputValue;
    Alert.Show (inputValue.ToString ());
    for (var intLoop:int = 0; intLoop < inputValue; intLoop ++)
    {
    LBL = new Sun;
    LBL.ID = "l" + intLoop;
    LBL. Text = myarr [intLoop];
    LBL1 = new Sun;
    LBL1.ID = "l" + intLoop;
    LBL1. Text = myarr1 [intLoop];

    lbl.addEventListener (MouseEvent.MOUSE_OVER, onLabelOver);
    lbl.addEventListener (MouseEvent.CLICK, onLabelClick);
    lbl.addEventListener (MouseEvent.MOUSE_OUT, onLabelOut);
    lbl.styleName = "hai1";

    LBL1.addEventListener (MouseEvent.MOUSE_OVER, onLabelOver);
    LBL1.addEventListener (MouseEvent.CLICK, onLabelClick);
    LBL1.addEventListener (MouseEvent.MOUSE_OUT, onLabelOut);
    LBL1.styleName = "hai1";

    labelBox.addChild (lbl);
    labelBox1.addChild (lbl1);

    }
    labelBox.styleName = "lblalign";

    }

    After I shared the words Add the words (lbl) in labelBox and labelBox1.
    Here the LabelBox and LabelBox1

    < mx:HBox id = "labelBox" x = "54" y = "263" width = "389" height = "18" color = "#FFFFFF" alpha = "0.40" backgroundColor = "#000101" >

    < / mx:HBox >

    This is displayed as follows
    Would become computer literal to alll
    its things in six months with a computer

    but my requirement is to align this line towards the Center.

    Would become computer literal to alll
    its things in six months with a computer

    Is this possible.
    If possible ways give me some ideas.

    Hi Athiroy,

    Specify the properties... horizontalAlign = "center" on HBox, if you want to align the label horizontally Center.

    If you want to vertically align Center... then specify verticalAlign = "middle" for HBox

    horizontalAlign = "center" verticalAlign = "middle" color = "#FFFFFF" alpha = "0.40" backgroundColor = "#000101" >

  • vertical align text and image in a cell of table CS5 (center)

    Hello

    I'm having a bit of a rut trying to provision several pages that have an array that I imported to excel.

    Some cells of the table have a text and an illustration of corresponding in excel are correctly centered vertically (text on the photo on the left, right, everything centered vertically). but when I import a table in indesign, the text is aligned to the bottom of the image, I tried setting align vertically from the cell to the Center, tried the different alignment for the pictue options (overtext, less/wrap, etc., did nothing), nothing, google constantly and could not find a solution (do not remember what I did that I managed to move the image relative to the text box (, but if I Center them it goes outside the boundaries of a cell).

    any ideas?

    Ah, it's one thing to the table. Cut the text and picture and paste in a new block of text outside the table (on the editing table) and adjust the frame to adapt, then cut that frame and pick up in the cell of the table.

  • File IDML opening with vertical alignment of text in the box set "Center".

    I got a batch of files, asking me to review. They were saved as files CC as well as .idml. I have used .idml since the sender used plugins files that are not included in the package. Using the .idml, I do not get the warning about the missing plugins. However, when I open the idml files that all text boxes are the vertical value Center instead of top. Very tedious. CC files opened correctly (with the exception of the warning about the missing plugins).

    Is it possible to open the idmls and get the vertical alignment to open as "top"? Or should I use the CC files and ignore the warning on the plugins?

    Thank you!

    Tim

    Guess I'm stuck with opening the idml docs and manually change each vertical alignment of text box.

    With Find\Change you can:

    Find/replace > object tab

    Tye: Blocks of text

    Change object Format: click on specify the attributes to modify > text frame general Options > vertical Justification > Align > Top

    Then find and change or change all

  • Text won't align horizontally and vertically

    Hello. I'm doing navigation buttons that consist of a text box to the inside. By default, the box is transparent, but when you rollover the text inside the box turns white and the box will turn dark gray. And of course, the substitution effect appears permanently when you are on the page corresponding to the button. Rolling works correctly, but the text should be Center (or middle) aligned vertically and horizontally in the box, and it does not work.

    I tried to use the tutorial here, that's why I used 'inline-table' and 'table-cell' in the css. I had to use 'inline-table' instead of 'table' to make the boxes stay on the same line.

    Here is a test page site: http://gchiller.com/test/

    Can someone please?

    Add this to your CSS:

    #nav p {}

    text-align: center;

  • Left edges of printed lines moving in and out of vertical alignment, goes to the bottom of the page.

    I downloaded an upgrade HP suggested and just after, had a paper jam.   I have authorized, but then got the error message: cartridge stuck.

    I couldn't find the cartridges in a first time (they were caught completely to the left), then the belt to see if I could make it appear.  Nothing helped, and... uh - oh - guess that I would not do.

    Finally, I spotted the cartridges, slipped to them where they were supposed to be, and the printer worked.  Except now, descending by the offset of the page become for two and some lines (first part crushed), indentation of about an eighth of an inch of horizontal lines.  Then, on a half inch below the page lines come back to correct the record.  Then they go again shifted, which cycling through all the way to the bottom of the page.

  • Unable to get the elements placed at the top and bottom of the cell of the table with vertical-align

    Hello

    I have a three-day educational courses in the list table. In each cell, I have the title of the presentation at the top with the name of the speaker below. Because some titles are longer than others, the line grows (rightly) as longer securities are covered in Word. So far so good. Now, I want all the titles to always start at the same distance from the surface of the cell (I use padding 2px) and names of speaker all be equidistant from the lower border, (i.e. 2px).

    I tried to place the title elements with < span style = "vertical-align: top" > </span > presentation title

    and the name of the speaker as < span style = "vertical-align: bottom" > name </span > Speaker

    and I tried the same method with < div > and < p > tags. Items don't move. Can someone tell me how to make the names of the speakers will be all aligned at the bottom of each cell?

    < td width = "300" > < span style = "vertical-align: top" > This is yet another presentation with a semi-long title </span > < br / >

    By default, the content of the table cell is average aligned.  You need not do anything.

    If you want your cell vertically aligned up or down, you can specify it in your CSS.  These effects all the text inside the cell.   It's all or nothing.

    It's (almost) identical to:

    Because (the centers of) lined up beside the objects will be on the same horizontal level/line.

    And it's just a way to express what vertical alignment means. Here are some others:

    Their centres are the same height,

    Their centers have the same value of Y on the Board/chart workspace.

    In all cases, you can draw a horizontal line through their centers.

    Mathematically, Y = C (there is a C constant value) is the equation of a horizontal line.
