Text of tappable/Clickable URL

Hi all

I have a url text contains a site and an email ID. I want only that part of the text to be highlighted and clickable.

Lets say I have following text: 'Post your questions to [email protected] or visit our website www.abc.com for details'.

no idea how to do only "[email protected]" and "www.abc.com" clickable/tappable?

Thanks in advance

    You must use AcitveRichTextField instead of RichTextField... It will detect patterns of url in the text and it will highlight and clickable.

  • On a Web page, how can I change an e-mail address of text based on a URL link?

    I use to have an add-on that would take the addresses displayed as text in the Web pages to display as the link URL. When I would click on the link of the URL, it would open a new e-mail message. What is the name of this add-on or how to get this feature working again in my browser?

    I don't remember using one, but I've heard of the Add-ons that any URL in the "linkify" page is clickable. Maybe they would also "linkify" an email address?

    To work around the problem, you can use the bookmarklet. This is a script that save you as a bookmark so you can click on the bookmark when you want to run. Here's how:

    (1) select and copy the following script (it's actually a long series):

    javascript:var eml=window.getSelection(); window.location.href="mailto:"+eml; void 0;

    (2) a convenient location on your bookmarks bar or Bookmarks Menu with the right mouse button and choose new bookmark.

    (3) paste the script in the location field. In the name field, you can then type mailto or name of your choice.

    (4) click on the Add button

    Here is an example for the test. Select the address of e-mail using the mouse:

    [email protected]

    Then click on the bookmark. Success?

    In addition, this script does not check that you have selected is a valid email address, or remove excess spaces at both ends, so it could definitely be improved...

  • Download Simple text file from internet URL (base CVI)

    I am trying to download a simple textfile locally on the computer using CVI (basic package).

    I've seen many examples of Web browser and other programs of crazy whistle.  All I want to do is travel to a URL and download the file text in the background.  I tried to use the IWebBrowser program but could not figure out how to save the file to my output name specified without user intervention.

    To be even more precise, here is a sample URL.  I want to save this file as yuma.txt in my working directory.  No prompt or anything.

    http://www.NAVCEN.USCG.gov/archives/GPS/2009/ALMANACS/Yuma/001.Alm

    to be registered as yuma.txt

    Be specific about what instruments or dll to use and where to get them.

    Thank you very much!

    After installing the program wget of GnuWin, I could simply extract files, wget.exe and .dll to the bin directory and get the program to run on another computer.  So, it would be the ultimate solution.

    http://GnuWin32.sourceforge.NET/packages/wget.htm

    For this reason, the only losses are not have a preset file that comes with the program that is installed in the default path (which you can ignore any entry in the same command line arguments) and have the register of the installedpath.

    If this solution seems to work!  Thank you

    There is nothing simple in this regard. Outside a backend server dynamic with a database, these possibilities of 'research' should be rigged using form elements and those who will be hardcoded or powered by JavaScript and the script and the list of terms of potential research would be inflated because it is like a gigazillion possible combinations and the things that can go wrong that must be supported. Personally, I find the odd notion - if a site that is dirty and has no intuitive navigation, a search function will do nothing. I simply would just fire away. So for what it's worth, you have a different problem that just finding how to implement a search feature...

  • Load-in the text to be clickable

    This continues with one of my previous posts.

    My requirement:

    When I Pull-in the "reviews Headlines" since a mysql database, I need each "notice Headline" be clickable. When it is clicked on each "notice Headline" relevant data must load into 'abc_txt '. How to do this?

    Course code:

    senderLoad.sendAndLoad ("www.abc.com/myphp.php", receiveLoad, "POST");

    receiveLoad.onData = {function (src)}

    var messageA:Array = src.split(",,,");

    messageA.pop ();

    var charCount = 0;

    var formatIndices = new Array();

    noticeheading.html = true;

    for (var i: Number = 0; i < messageA.length; i ++) {}

    var msgA:Array is get [i].split(",,");.

    noticeheading.htmlText += + Msgto [0] + hrF(noticeheading,"_",0xFFFFFF) + '< br > < br > ".

    formatIndices [i] = {startAt: charCount, endAt: charCount + Msgto [0] .length};

    charCount = noticeheading.text.length;

    }

    for (var j: Number = 0; j < formatIndices.length; j ++) {}

    noticeheading.setTextFormat (.startAt formatIndices [j], formatIndices [j] .endAt, format1);

    Msgto [0] appears if you have encoded that properly.

  • Adding a clickable URL between data added to the form

    I have a form that is used by anyone who has access to add data to database of the church cemetery. There are several fields with code similar to the one for the name of the image file-

    < name textarea = "grave_image" cols = "120" lines = "1" maxlength = "100" id = "image" > < / textarea >

    < / label >

    I want the user to add a field to say, 'NW_A01_Smith.jpg' that appears on the form as a field the user can click to access the image.

    The view page has data code similar to one below which is for the image

    Serious image < label for = "grave_image" >

    < name textarea = "grave_image" cols = "120" lines = "1" maxlength = "20" id = 'image' > <? PHP echo ($rsGraveyard-> getColumnVal ("grave_image"));? > < / textarea >

    < / label >

    This displays the name of the file - in my example - NW_A01_Smith.jpg

    How can I make NW_A01_Smith.jpg clickable so that clicking on it will call a page showing the image?

    Otherwise, I could just display the image among other data.

    Thank you.

    all you have to do is to add this:

    getColumnVal ("grave_image"));? >

    .. .but if it does not, then the value of your grave_image does not contain the full path to the image collection.

  • The button text field block clickable area

    Hello!  I'm building my first site with Muse and have created a button in Photoshop with four States that work correctly in the preview of Muse.  When I place a text label on the button in Muse, however, the text field blocks a part of the image map of the button when I preview the it.  I'd appreciate any help - thanks!

    Mylenium, thank you for your patience.  When I tried what you suggested last night it did not work for all layers (I still saw the option "Merge layers" available).  Only now to experiment more, have I realized that PS really care what order I click on both layers I want to merge.

    It was a simple fix - I hoped that someone on the Council suggests.  Your advice to watch tutorials base PS, is appreciated.  But it wasn't the right answer.

  • How do you add a clickable URL to a movie?

    Sorry for this question but my developer is on vacation and I'm facing a deadline. I'm obviously a novice in Flash. I have a simple movie that I need to change. Usually, I get a message saying that the action script can be applied to the object that is highlighted. Can someone give me instructions step by step to do this please?

  • Add link to URL in the text added to the catalyst

    Hello

    My question is, is it possible to be part of a text added in flash catalyst a link to the URL, as in normal site?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello

    I'm sorry, I'm not very clear about your question. So, I'll give you two solutions. Please use that is appropriate for you

    Solution 1: This is to convert any instance of text unique all in Flash Catalyst to a clickable link

    You can convert any occurrence of text in a button & then add a "Go To URL" interaction to achieve this.

    Step 1. Add text by using the text command.

    Step 2. Select the text and convert it into a "button" with Heads Up Display.

    Step 3. Click on the button 'Add the Interaction' in the Panel "Interactions".

    Step 4. Select "Go To URL" from the second drop-down list and enter the URL in the text box below the

    Solution 2: This is to convert part of the occurrence of text to a clickable link.

    This feature is available only by the "RichEditableText" component that is not supported by Flash Catalyst.

    Once you have the text placed inside your application using catalyst, you must edit in Flash Builder.

    Step 1. Save the project in Flash Catalyst under FXP

    Step 2. Import the FXP in Flash Builder file, by using the menu "File-> Import Flash Builder Project"

    Step 3. Open the file "Main.mxml" & look for the component "RichText".

    Step 4. Replace "RichText" with "RichEditableText.

    Step 5. Set the 'editable' component "RichEditableText" property to "false".

    Step 6. Add the tag "" around the part of the text you want to be clickable. See example below

    Step 7. Save & publish the project using the menu "project-> Export Release version.

  • Move all of the URLS in the text for references

    Hello world

    I have an interesting little problem. Basically, I have a text in which all URLS are displayed in the format < URL > < URL > www.example.org and I want to spend these coins - preferably without the < URL > - tags to references. So I decided to do this and I got far enough. I can create empty notes for each instance of < URL >(.+?) < / URL > but then when I want to move the text, I'm stumped on how to define what text should be moved without losing the location of the note to the text. So here's what I have:

    href() {} function

    var curSel = app.selection [0];

    current selection is that the script is looking through

    var searchTerm = "< URL >(.+?). < URL > ';

    Search term such as variable to facilitate the eventual later use

    app.findGrepPreferences = app.changeGrepPreferences = null;

    Reset the search parameters

    app.findGrepPreferences.findWhat = searchTerm;

    Search searchTerm

    var result = curSel.findGrep (true);

    app.findGrepPreferences = null;

    for (var f = 0; f < result.length; f ++) {}

    f is defined as 0, but if there are no more results than 0, increments f by the number of results

    curRes var = result [f];

    Defines curRes as the number of results f-> last occurrence of searchTerm in selection

    var curFootnote = curRes.footnotes.add ();

    Creates an empty reference of last instance of < URL >. + ? < URL >

    moveURL.move (LocationOptions.AFTER, curFootnote.insertionPoints [-1]);

    }

    app.findGrepPreferences = null;

    }

    I apologize for the rather silly sounding commenting in it, but I'm trying to make sure everyone with a bit of JavaScript knowledge knows that I do.

    As you can see, moveURL var is not set. var moveURL would be the function where I define the text that needs to be moved. Now, he can't be curSel because who would try to move all the text in the reference, which is just stupid for obvious reasons. curFootnote is not, because it generates the note. So what I'm doing wrong here?

    Thanks for your help!

    You don't need an 'intermediate' at all moveURL.

    The problem occurs because you add a new reference to the found object (curRes) - you can see if you add this after line of footnote.add:

    curRes.select();exit();

    (so please withdraw again, this is only to show how to check what is the problem).

    You can fix this, oddly enough, by adding the note before the target text:

    var curFootnote = curRes.insertionPoints[0].footnotes.add();

    If you check with the trick 'select', you will see the found text "curRes" still only constituted the part of the URL and the new reference appears right in front of him and not inside. When you add a note "at the end", to help

    var curFootnote = curRes.insertionPoints[-1].footnotes.add();

    you will find the note becomes an integral part of the "curRes" and if you can't its text more move in this same note.

    With that, it's child's play to move the text found in the note, but then you still have to remove the markers of the URL. There are several approaches, but I will copy only the text in the note, then by removing all of the text found in the document, like this:

    curRes.characters.itemByRange(6,curRes.characters.length-5).duplicate(LocationOptions.AFTER, curFootnote.insertionPoints[-1]);
    curRes.remove();

  • Move URL in the link text or the text at the end of the story. Also: tables

    Hello everyone

    I am currently working on a script which translates by Textile Markup InDesign-formatted text. It worked well for the most part, because it is really hard to do by FindChangeByList. However, some things are a bit more complicated than the others. Namely the URL in the text. Textile, all URLs are so similar. Let's say I want to make a link to Google. So I type this: 'Google':http://www.google.com happen Google. I can isolate the word and delete the URL of ["------"](.+?) [\\\"]:\\?\\S+ and substituting $1.] So far so good.

    However!

    It would be great, if the URLS are still in the text. Then I would be to have as follows: Google or that the word Google (or any what $1, really) is found in the text, then the link is added at the end of the text as a sort of "Sources"-paragraph thing. ". How is that possible? I can do by FindChangeByList? Because that would be cool, because then I would just need to run a script.

    And here's a general question: How can I translate Textile-Tables in InDesign Tables formatting?

    For reference, it would be a table with a row of a header.

    |_. name | _. age | _. sex |

    | Joan | 24. e _

    | Archie | 29. m |

    | Bella | 45. e _

    Is this possible?

    Thank you very much for your help!

    Hello

    Ok. If you can assume that $2, it's exactly a word ==> we could edit it above like this:

    //...
    mSource = mDoc.hyperlinkTextSources.add(mText[0].words.itemByRange(0,-2).texts[0]);
    mDest = mDoc.hyperlinkURLDestinations.add(mText[0].words[-1].contents);
    //...
