  I created an editable pdf that I want to use to fill out a form, save in their own car, change it again, then print it and send it in.

  I followed the instructions for the readers extended, activate additional features - and can see the data entered after registration on behalf of the new and once again. But I can not print the data. The form prints as a form empty with graphics and all - I see the data on the screen, but the form prints without the data. Help!  I use Acrobat X, Mac 10.1.14

  I print on this basis, Acrobat Reader and preview and print all blank with data on the screen.

  It could be that the fields are set on "Visible but does not print. Check the "form field:" drop-down list under the general tab of the dialog box properties field to see what it is defined. If it's not her, can you post a sample PDF file somewhere?

  I am trying to create an external border for some tires and have a few questions about the model of brush.

  Return to the brush model.

  1. drag the brush from the Panel forms.

  2. with the direct Selection tool or in, select the Panel layers no filling / n ° rectangle race which is located at the back of this group of brush.

  3. adjust (reduce) the width of the rectangle until you find a size that produces the desired gap.

  4. Select the shape of the brush and the no fill / no rectangle STROKE, Opt/Alt-drag on top of the original brush in the Panel shapes.

  Trial and error is valuable here until you see how it works. or you can use specific values.

  To align the bottom edge of the brush with the path:

  With no filling/no STROKE rectangle selected, as indicated above, move it down so that its horizontal axis coincides with the lower edge of the shape of the brush, then Opt/Alt-drag the brush and rectangle again in the Panel forms.

• Dynamic forms (data dictionary) using the form (?)

  The basic plan is to build forms in my application dynamically using a dictionary of data rather than their based on static tables and have statically coded forms to match. This would allow me to provide the ability for an administrator to add new fields if necessary (customer "requirements" are difficult to identify and can therefore change).
  
  I develop using CF8 (hoping it will come out very soon..).). Request will be structured using Fusebox 5.
  
  I tried to build the form elements (< cfinput > & etc.) off in the CFC, the result code of return in a variable content layout and its does not work.
  I have some other approaches to try, but it would be better.
  
  Anyone else tried this - and you have any advice to offer (or just crazy I try it because there is no way to work his will?)

  Fair enough, I suppose there are advantages to use cfform, although I'm not a big fan of flash forms...

  I noticed in another discussion on this topic HERE that ALEXANDER suggested to use a custom tag to achieve this functionality.

  I have not tried it myself, but it might be useful at a glance.

• Storage vmotion, between data warehouses when the block size is different

  Hi all

  I would like to know, is it possible to do a vmotion of storage between two data warehouses, when they have different block sizes. The case is as a former vmfs data store 3 which has been upgraded direct to vmfs5 there, but since it has been updated it maintains its own block size. While the newly created vmfs datastore 5 a block size of 1 MB.

  Thus, storage Vmotion will work in this case? It will fail OR will be with degraded performance?

  Finally, storage vmotion is possible even if you do not have a cluster DRS for storage?

• Can you pass offline virtual machines between data warehouses using the 'Migration' with the basic Kit Essentials feature?

  I speak not of Essentials Plus vMotion between hosts or migration of VMS between hosts and data warehouses online. Just curious to know if its possible to off a virtual machine and click the button to migrate to another store of data with the basic Essentials bundle.

  Someone has found a workaround?  I know there are other viewers free (software tracker) but small business customer won't like that they have to pay thousands in extensions of the reader.  There must be a way for a PDF designed in LiveCycle ES4 v.11 and allow the user to the end save a copy (and submit by e-mail) Acrobat Reader DC.  I see a lot of threads complaining about this very simple issue but I don't see all of the solutions that use software free adobe reader.  I am aware of the PRINT to the PDF solution, but not all end users have a PDF printer on their computer.  Adobe please help.

  You cannot use drive, you must use Acrobat. If your customer must obtain Acrobat and Reader-enable applications that you develop. If you do not have Acrobat, you can download and install the trial version in order to test this point.

• Move VM between data on the same vCenter centers

  With a virtual machine off, I'm migrating a VM between data centers in the same vCenter. There is no shared storage, different networks to the destination host. The user interface works (caveat about the missing shows destination network), yet move-vm does not work between data centers.

  The manual States -Destination can be file, host, cluster etc... As the hosts AND records are bound by data centers, I guess it must know the new host & the new folder. I tried to use - destination twice, and I've tried - destination host, folder.

• Fillable form data disappear after the backup

  I downloaded a form with fields to fill in, and it took more than an hour to complete.  After saving the file, when I reopen it, data Flash in the form fields, then disappears.  Where does go? And how do I get it back?  What can I change to prevent that from happening?  I really don't want to have to re - type everything that data again...

  I use Acrobat 9 Pro on a pc Win 7...

  EDIT... I changed my Acrobat CD player and got the same result.  Data flashes across the fields, and then disappears.  I also sent an email (form) to another computer with the same result in opening.

  The form is probably put in place so that the fields are reset to zero when it is open. You can try to disable JavaScript before opening the form and if it relies on JavaScript, turn it back on once the form is loaded.

  To disable JavaScript, select: Edit > Preferences > JavaScript > enable Acrobat JavaScript [deselect]

• Content type of the form POST data REMAINS

  I'm trying to POST through a REST API that has a content type of the form data from vRO. Someone at - he no idea how I need to put in shape the body of the request in the vRO? At this point, im just build a JSON object then stringifying the object and sending it offshore.

  Thanks for the reply Ilian. I was able to format the body of the request such as specified in the RFC as stated below. I also wrote an action to do the formatting for me that I have attached. I hope it helps someone else.

  The action has two expectations as described in the description.

  1. You use the limit as described in details in your content type of the request.
  2. The action assumes that all data in the form is the Content-Disposition: data type of the form.

• Dynamic PDF up to 200 images, the size of the pdf is greater, cannot save the data and images to the form

  My client would like to dynamic images up to 200 photos to my forms. It works very well. However, when I add images up to 35 images. I could not add images to shape more. Then I save data on the form. All the images and the data entered on the form are missing. I don't know why.

  If I add only 10 images - I can record data and images on the form. 15456 KB is the size of the pdf.  I was unable to add more photos or data on the form.

  There may be a problem the size of the pdf? How big can make a limited dynamic pdf?

  Can save us the information and images as much as we want?

  I spent two weeks to work and trying to figure out this problem. However, it is not successful.

  You must ensure that your users do not import large images.

  Therefore, you can use a script on the change event of an image field that checks the size of the data and warns the user if the file is too large.

  I'm a sucker for creating problems. I'm working on adding role and content to a client website management. Currently, I have problems with the management of the role page.

  It is a legacy application and the customer is unwilling to upgrade to Coldfusion 8 and Flex Builder 3 Professional, so 'use the new stuff' is not enough for a response. No, I did not select the colors and I don't have the power to change their .

  It is a populous example:

  

  Here's the situation:

  1. The management of roles (mxml) page receives its data from a pair of files xml, siteManagement.xml, and roleManagement.xml through cffile calls via a cfc
  2. The xml data is stored locally in vars XML until the clerk.
  3. If I click once on the button 'Add', change the 'Save Changes' and fields immediately (the changes to the file through cfc is validated), everything works as expected, except that resets the combobox of roles. This normally isn't a problem - it is often exactly the behavior you want, but I can't stop reset.
  4. If I click on "Add control" more than once between save changes, changin any field on a new line causes all other lines have the same value for the same domain. (problem 2)
     1. This behavior can be fixed by saving and reloading the xml data between each click on 'add a control '. the problem with this solution is that it clears the Combobox of roles, adding unnecessary clicks to add (sometimes several) controls for the datagrid control.

  I don't know what is causing the problem with the datagrid control where a line edit causes changes in others. My first thought was that it is caused by all the changes and selections via xml calls for example;

  So I added the code to add a number to the values that feed the datafields hoping that have unique data would cure the problem. There can be no.

  I don't know how much information you need to help. I can post the code if necessary, but I have to be careful - it's something health.

  This line is suspect:

  tempXML = controlXMLTemplate;

  This means that you may re-use of the same instance for multiple lines.  Probably, you need to copy the template rather than just use it.

• Firefox is refreshing all pages of a Web site only and adding # at the end of the URL - it may be the cause?

  In my workplace, I use Firefox version 5.0.1 on Windows XP. When you access pages on the Web site http://www.sqa.org.uk (it is used the website of my place of work), pages refresh approximately every 30 seconds to a minute, and a sign # is added at the end of the URL in the address bar.

  This does not occur on all other sites, but it occurs also with colleagues who also have the same version of Firefox. I have disabled the extensions, had removed then reinstalled Firefox but the problem just occurred.

  Clear the cache and cookies from sites that cause problems.

  "Clear the Cache":

  • Tools > Options > advanced > network > storage (Cache) offline: 'clear now '.

  'Delete Cookies' sites causing problems:

  • Tools > Options > privacy > Cookies: "show the Cookies".

  Start Firefox in Firefox to solve the issues in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions of the origin of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > appearance/themes).
