  I applied a soft shadow silver drop white to an image placed on a piece of Illustrator.  The shadow only appears when I drag the selection on the artboard (in the gray area that surrounds the artboard).  Drag on the piece and without shadow.  Make sure the image is presented front and background sent to the rear.   Thoughts?  This photo is not the best but you can kind of see how the soft white shadow stops abruptly on the black background on the edge of the artboard.

  We have to fill a form that we send to clients for donation requests. We recently received one that looked empty, so we had the customer fill it again.   It is not possible to change anything in the PDF with Adobe Reader.

  You may need to open the PDF with Adobe Acrobat and choose "tools > forms > edit ' and double-click on a text field to view its properties. Click on the appearance tab, and then change the font size as you wish.

  If you are looking to update the tool tip you do this in the palette "accessibility". You can use the window > accessibility or SHIFT + F6 to open it. Hope that helps.

  I hope someone can help me here. I created an interactive PDF with fields in the active form with 'Rich Text Formatting'.

  My client has filled in the fields and wish to make the text bigger. Then right click, only options to change the text style (bold, italic, etc.) but nothing to change the size of the text. I'm not keen on deactivating and then reactivating the "Rich Text Formatting" options in the form of text were formatted (bold, italic, exponent, index, etc.) and approved, and this will remove any existing formatting.

  You need to display the properties bar, or by clicking the command-E or "view > toolbars > properties bar. You will then see where you can select a different font size.

  There is a script editor.  If you select the field, then you will be able to select the event in the 'Show' taking place (above the 'Design' tab), and then the code window will be active and you can enter your code.  You can extend the default value of a single line.

  I use Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional on a Mac. I use a black and white laser printer.

  In my work, I fill out PDF forms prepared by the federal Government.

  I can't change the forms, because they are secure.

  Fields filled in text print so low (i.e., too light, not dark) that they are difficult to read when printed.  They look not so great on the computer screen, either.

  The form itself will print very well: beautiful and dark. easy to read.

  Text using the typewriter prints fine, also.

  Acrobat does not seem to allow police in the text fields to change. It's a kind of courier, and it never changes.

  How can I get darker impressions of my entries in text field?

  I'm new to Acrobat X but use Acrobat since v4 (bought in July 1999). Older versions of Acrobat has allowed the fields of screens to have the text of variable size; If a user wrote that would fit in the original size, the form field would automatically decrease the text to fit.

  I can't find this feature in Acrobat X but _really_ need a medical form complex I've created.

  Here's a line of code that copies the text from the text field to the other. You can use it in the mouse event to the top of a button and add as many lines as required:

  // Copy value of one field to another
  getField("text2").value = getField("text1").valueAsString;
  

  Replace "text2" and "text1" with real field names that you use.

  I used view = > toolbars = > and ticked all the toolbars that I want to appear. BUT add it to the toolbar appears blank (i.e. toolbar but no add ons). AND the new custom toolbar that I created is not yet listed in the toolbars available for check or not. The only way I can get to show upward (but no function) is by clicking the Customize button. The toolbar remains open as long as the window is customize, and I can add/remove/rearrange icons, but not use any of their functions (for example. I added a new button to the custom toolbar window, but when I click of course nothing happens, because another window - window customize - is still open). I need a way to lock the toolbar, so I can access buttons to use it please!

  In my opinion, which suggests that what you were actually doing was to customize the toolbar of the addons. Firefox is quite flexible and you can for example put the print icon on the toolbar of the modules or the bookmarks toolbar, and not only on a new designed user a custom toolbar.
