  I'm sure I asked this before a few months ago, but what worked then is not working now.

  Dreamweaver CS 6: I have a menu bar button that contains text that needs two lines. The default line break is awkward. I want to break the line a word before where the default it breaks.

  Now, a few months ago, with a taskbar button previous menus that have had the same problem, I was told to enter the control + return in the window code and divide the text exactly where I wanted. (Note: I'm on a Mac, I don't speak a command.) I mean the control key.)

  What to do with this button and it forces a line break where I want in the code window, but the design window is not follow suit.

  So. How can I force a line break in the text of the button in design mode? I'm sure it's something simple. But what I thought I knew have apparently isn't what I want.

• Slow down the text to voice speech

  I use text-to-speech on Captivate 4.  Essentially, I like the text-to-speech feature; However, sometimes the voice is simply too fast.  I don't want to add unnecessary punctuation because I use the same text for captioning.  Anyone know how to slow down the voice (Paul), so people can actually follow what he says.

  Adobe has established VTML in Captivate 4, which is a language for the text to speech.

  It looks like this (the color added):

  The \pause, creates a second break half and and a \pause. creates a complete break seconds

  The \speed= changes the speed for all of the text that comes after the tag in this segment.  In this case, I took up to 30 and then brought back up to 50 before the break and then down again at the end.

  Thte \pitch= change the tone of the speech.  I did very deep at the end.

• Automatically convert soft line breaks in the text box to hard breaks

  I have the design of textbooks and convert to ePub recomposable, broke up. These ePub files get formatted then can be used interchangeably on the printed text. A book that I am currently in conversion is a literature book where there are lines of text with the overall line numbers so that teachers can quickly refer to a specific section of the text.

  All the line breaks in the ID file are defined just by the edge of the text box. So the text box change sizes, all line breaks would also change. Isn't a problem until you need to keep these online breeze in recomposable text and add up the numbers in.

  
  What I'm looking for is a way to insert automatically the line breaks in these LONG sections of text in the right places. Does anyone have any ideas on how to do that?

  I'm new to Indesign and I am trying to write a long book that looks more like a catalog. I created a file of book (.indb) in which different files (.indd) are introduced.

  Each of these files represent a chapter. All chapters must have the same appearance and layout and I can use text and paragraph styles. But I would also

  I suggest to add a listener to changes on the focusedProperty of the textfield and when it loses focus, and should not, set the focus back again. I'm not an expert, but that's what I'd do.

  I had a reason to suggest that you create a pagefile on C. I didn't know you had an SSD, but I don't know why you think it's relevant? Your system and some programs require the existence of a swap file to work properly. Reformatting the hard drive and reinstall the operating system will not achieve this need!   Please go to c:\windows\system32 and search for amdoc64.dll and removal of a file from there and move it to the desktop. Try running the application again.

  I have a few HTML loaded from an XML document which includes web links (anchor tags).  I use a TextField to display the text and am connect the XML data in the htmlText of a TextField property and renders the text with HTML tags, links work etc.

  The problem I see, is that a new line is created before and after the link, so html like this:

  Hello World < a href = "#" > This is a < /a > link and all this must be on the same line.

  is made like this (with particular attention to the new lines):

  This is a link

  and all this must be on the same line.

  Does anyone know how to avoid these new lines appear when using HTML links in a TextField?  Any help is greatly appreciated.

  Your HTML tags are being analysed in XML format, and new formatting applied. To avoid this, place a CDATA tag around your HTML code. Previously your XML could be something like this:

  I inserted a bookmark in a drop-down list text linked and then has another topic to the bookmark. However, if you build and try clicking on this link, it takes you to the main page, where the dropdown menu, not in the open 'version' from the drop down.
