The address book allows you to dial a phone # via a modem?

Thunderbird AddressBook has columns for phone numbers.
Y at - it a function or an add-on that allows you to click on the phone number and have this dial via modem to a PC?
WordPerfect Office had this feature in his address book, but it has been removed in versions that work with Windows 7. I feel lost without it.

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not see contacts in the address book after you synchronize with PocketMac

Model 8830. Macintosh OS 10.5.8. Latest version of PocketMac SYncManager 1.2 (1.4).

Contacts have been working well. I have sync'd with PocketMac by ticking the peripheral crush, and first of all, I had a lot of duplicate addresses. Second sync seemed to delete ALL my contacts, but by checking the properties of the address book, it shows the 706 entries (twice what a book Mac address

    .)

Nothing not done, I ran twice SyncClean and 'Reset all devices to the first SYnc State'. I have re-started the Mac and Blackberry several times.

    What to do next?

I deleted all my data via the Options > Security Options > then wipe Handheld. Necessary for the re-registration

the BB with the carrier and then by downloading my backed up address book & calendar

Re-creation of speed dials, themes, ringtones, etc., but it cures the problem of address book.

My calendar now has 3 copies of holiday in the United States, but I can live with that.

I find it interesting that nowhere on the site Web Blackberry or PocketMac is there any

clue on how to clean a calendar book or address munged. Maybe the next

  • I do not see my addresses in the address book

    Hello

I just reinstalled Windows 7 Pro (I had to) and I managed to reinstall Thunderbird, then point it to my existing profile as my email now displays correctly.

The problem is that my address book seems to be empty now. I checked and my abook.mab and history.mab files are located and have content (13.1 K and 16.8 K respectively) have been dated to shortly before the reinstall. When I bring my address book, however, it seems empty.

Is there something more I should do to get my address book will display correctly?

Unfortunately I don't have an exported backup or anything sensitive like that.

In which case it is important:

    Windows 7 Professional
    Thunderbird 31.4.0

I don't know if the version of Thunderbird I was running was a little different than that I just installed. My previous version of Thunderbird has been reasonably aware.

There is a possibility that you have more than one profile. Look at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profiles-tb#w_how-to-find-your-profile and then look in the same directory to see if there is another * file *.default.

If so, see https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/using-multiple-profiles to switch to another profile, and search for your address book. If you find, export using the LDIF format and then switch your main profile and import addresses.
NOTE: no matter what name you give the exported address file becomes the name of the address book when you import it!

Still no joy? Watch abook.mab with Notepad; It is a text file. Browse down to see if you have your address book entries.

Let me know what you find.

  • Save the address book

using tb 31.2, ow to save the address book or is it saved profile? also, how to make contact groups?

    Open "address book".
Select the address book that you want to export.
    Tools > export

    See the first picture below

This should open a window "Export Address Book".
Usually, he chooses a generic file location that can be accessed before saving files. See third picture below. In your case, it seems that you see this window with the profile indicated instead. No worries, simply select the right directory.

If you see the profile folder - you do not want to export an address book in your profile - it's already there as a mbox file. Do not select this place - you have to choose a location outside Thunderbird.

First, you will need to choose where to save the file. Select the correct directory and folder where you want to export the file to. Identical to save any document you have to choose where to save it.
See the second image as an example on the choice of a different location or use the left file pane to select.

In my example - see third picture below.
I chose a folder that I had previously created called my backup files, a folder that is located in the same place in the form of Documents, downloads etc.
Give a name appropriate to address book file.
Save as Type: choose LDIF or comma separated .csv
    Click on the button Save.

  • I can't find my outlook express address book after you migrate successfully from the old computer. The "Address book" tab shows that local address book empty.

I move from a Windows XP computer to a Windows 7 computer. My old computer has Outlook Express. I've migrated successfully my emails and messages archived in Thunderbird on the new computer. I also migrated the Outlook Express address book using an external hard drive, but I was not able to understand how to find the Outlook Express address book in Thunderbird. The only way that I could find the Outlook Express address book, is to go to 'tools' and 'import' and then import the Outlook Express address book. When I do this, the Outlook Express address book features, duplicate entries (because I imported twice now). When the Outlook Express address book shows, it works without problems and I can use it to send emails. But once I close the Outlook Express address book, I can't find him. Other messages, I see that the "Address book" tab in Thunderbird should open a window containing a list of available on the left side address books. But this window in my computer does not display a list of address books. There is just a blank window for the address book personal (it has no contacts inside) and there is nothing on the left side.

in the display (alt + V) address book menu > layout > directory pane.

  • Add address of the sender to the address book using filtaquilla?

When the sender is not in the address book, I want to give the user an option to add it. Is this possible with filtaquilla?

There is a filter action, provided by FiltaQuilla, to "Add sender to the address list", and among all the proposed locations, your address books are included.

But I see no way easy to offer the user a dialog to allow him to choose or not to do. Perhaps a javascript maven could do something here.

Any sender can easily be added to the address book by clicking on its name/address in the header of the received message. Maybe you can use a filter just to highlight the messages from unknown senders in order to prompt the user to consider adding to their address book. Or you can create a saved search to collect such messages. Then, their mere presence in this saved search folder would indicate their status is unknown.

  • How to select and copy text from the address book of lightning, against duty open entry?

I know, it is not possible to highlight and copy the text visible in the pane above it, with all the entries in address book or Contact. Am I missing a way to do this?

It would, of course, the use of the address book in lightning much easier and faster to use if we could do. Please note that I did not edit. Instead, it is necessary to go through the same steps as if editing. That is, open properties and select the appropriate tab, highlight & copy said information, instead just to be able to quickly copy the text you want.

It's just two more clicks and the conclusion of the text, which can be cumbersome in some Windows Small field, especially for the notes, but when you do it often, he of course becomes a pain. Notes, in particular, becomes a mini database to enter address, be it your personal record for product information for something (which could be extended if many of the parts of something like a specific computer have been identified), bought to share other contact information.

A third is used especially when we need to get impossible to remember, like your BTC account security information. Keeping in the address book on a home computer, adds a little more security, but you can access it easily.

Add more functions to the AddressBook allows several functions of copy.

  • Show to move the address book of XP to Vista

I have an address book that I used for several years.  It is on a XP computer.  I'm trying to move the address information to a vista computer.  I copied the file .dat to addresses from the XP computer on Vista computer, but the data was not updated.   Is the store program data in a different location on a vista computer?

You can not just move the data files.  XP uses the address book but Vista with Contacts.  However, it can be imported/exported.  Here is the procedure: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Import-export-or-change-the-format-for-contacts.

Indeed, open address book under XP and use the export function, save as comma seperated text CSV file extension, and then import into Vista contacts (or open Contacts in Vista and allows importing function, save as comma-delimited extension CSV text file, then import them into address book of XP).  It is easy just follow the instructions in the link above.

    I hope this helps.

  • How to make the address book to be visible?

The addresses appear in the emails when I type the name or part of it, as usual, so the address book must always be present in the program, but when I click on the button for the address book, it does not appear. An address book empty giving me the possibility to create a new contact or new address books is displayed instead. This happened on the last updated to 4.5.1 and I've just updated to 4.5.2 but no change. How can I make my visible address books?

Thanks to those who have begun to offer assistance. I'm sorry that you were unable to complete the task. I discovered what it was! An add-on, I think it was: 'Change font size & theme 49.6', what people with disabilities allowed me to see the address books.

  • Characters to unlock phones smart blackBerry carry in the composition of the address book

Hoping you smart people can help me with this question. When I unlock my turn by typing * la * or an A extends into my next attempt to dial using the address book.  So when I type in "mel" to compose Melanie, research unit "amel" or "* mel" are not.  Don't know why it's sometimes-A and a * sometimes. Frustrating because I use the function for most of my outgoing calls.  Thank you
