The ADF deployment

Jdev dear community,

I developed an application I want to deploy on http://www.myserver.com

I figured out this deployment root consists of http:// < servername >: < port > / < context-root >/faces/myfile.jspx, which was not difficult.

But I also realized that I can not put the root of context to be ' / ' nor erase the faces servlet in the WEB. XML to get rid of this / faces / * part.

So, what should I do? How can I deploy an application to http://www.myserver.com without people / < context root > and /faces?
Of course I also want this first page in my application automatically loads... Is there something like index.html?

How can I make my available pages for web crawlers? Define keywords in index.html?

Thank you

Kresimir

Hello

configure you this on the HTTP server to redirect the request to MonServeur.com to run the application. Have a look here for proxy reverse

  • How to deploy BPM processes with the shape of the ADF?

    Hello world

I'm a newbie on the BPM (11g) and ADF. I created a BPM process and an ADF train in the same project.

I was wonder if I can deploy the makings of the ADF, and begin to test only the train before hook to the top of the form of the ADF with the UserActivity.

How can I do? How can you deploy? Better create a jar or ear?

    Any suggestions?

    Best regards.

    Fairlie

    Hi Fairlie,

Here is a brief one minute video that I just post on youtube you through one of the ways to deploy a project ADF - http://youtu.be/irt4_1IL0vosteps.  It's the deployment as an ear file.

If you are using 11g, you will not be able to deploy in your integrated WebLogic Server that works using JDeveloper.  You will not be able to right click on the page of an ADF jspx file or its taskflow and click Run, if there is an ADF application used in conjunction with a BPM project and its human tasks.

    Hope this helps,

  • The ADF application deployment error

    Hi all

We get another error in the SOA application

Each time that attempted to deploy the ADF for the application (.) The EAR) in soa_server1, it gave me error archive invalid soa.

    Help, please.

    Hello

    Thanks for posting.

The above error isony because we can deploy only archive SOA (.) SAR files) on SOA_server1 managed server.

We can deploy only SOA archive (.) SAR files) on SOA_server1 managed server. We cannot deploy ADF (.) Applications of EAR) in SOA_server1 managed server. To deploy the ADF (.) Applications of EAR) we must deploy either Jdev Weblogic Console.

  • How to successfully deploy a library shared the ADF?

I have created a library that depends on the length of JSP, JSF 2.0, ADF Model DURATION etc., JSTL 1.2. When I try to use a class of this library in an application, (I added a ref library to weblogic application. The app XML) I get the following error:

    >java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/apache/myfaces/trinidad/model/RowKeySet

How am I supposed to properly deploy my library / specify dependencies, so that weblogic server might find them? MANIFESTO. MF in the container of the library, made by JDeveloper, contains only the manifest-Version headers and hand-Class.

Under subsection 38.2 in the Guide Oracle® Fusion Middleware Fusion developer Oracle Application Development Framework 11 g Release 2

    > If you are packaging a component with dependent jars, such as third party jars, you have two options:

    > 1. If the environment of your exercises control over the placement of the jars, you can place the ADF library JAR and its dependent jars in a JDeveloper Extension Library. The advantage of using a > JDeveloper Extension Library, it is that they do not clutter your project with specific references to the dependent jars.

    > 2. If using Extension Library JDeveloper is not possible, you can place the dependent jars in the same location as the ADF library JAR and include an entry manifest classpath for each person dependent > JAR.

I hope that I don't need to include all the pots to jsf/adf/bc4j in the container in my library, I do?

Well, I finally managed to make it work. You need a war with the shared library jar under WEB-INF/lib, and then reference it in the application weblogic.xml.

  • How to find the ADF version used in a deployment archive?

    Hello

When I get an ear/war file from a developer I want to deploy on a Weblogic Server it would be nice to be able to verify that the ADF version developers used is the same that is installed on the server.

I tried to look at different deployment files but I can't find anything about it. Can anyone help?

I can see the JSF version but noting on ADF.

    What about Peter

I see your problem but do not see how you can get the information of just the EAR file as long as it is not put there by purpose. The required information is part of the jars that are installed on the servers. They are not part of the ear, but are only referenced.

For the server side, I've written a web service that I install on each server (managed server that runs to the ADF, run time). This service at least tell me the version installed on the server. You can find the service including the source to my blog http://tompeez.wordpress.com/2012/02/05/adf-how-to-find-out-which-adf-version-is-installed-on-a-manged-weblogic-server/.

There was a discussion on this forum and the ADFEMG google Group discuss how to know what the newer version (from sources of a project) was used to develop the App. Unfortunately, today you can't get a definitive answer to this. There is an ER out for it to allow in the future (http://java.net/jira/browse/ADFEMG-70).

  • Why must update the ADF BC connection details for the deployment?

I know it's a matter of the ADF, but still post in this forum that it was found in the deployment of BPM on OBPM 11.1.1.6. I get a bpm of the internet project and decide to test it on my local. The goal was to complete the payload of the process dynamically, i.e. based on the selection made by the participant on the user interface (a component of ADF to a table of database management is created and made on the form of task for the user to select). I imported the code on my JDev and changed the JDBCDataStore for both Module local <>& module < Module > Shared in running the application configurations to point to a Data Source that I created on my WLS.

Assuming that's all it was necessary to test, tried to deploy the application on my WLS. Deployment failed with a logon - question usname/pws 'incompatibility '. It was very strange because I tested the data source after it is created. It took time for me to understand that it wasn't ' the JDBCDataStore that was causing the problem but it seems that the creator of the application created a database connection to connect to its local database to create the application's business components. I had to update correct 'uname/pwd"(i.e. the one on my local) to run the deployment.

Now coming to the question - I think that connection at the base is a configuration at design time to create business components? Once they are created in the project, the deployment should be agnostic of the environment, as long as we upgrade our TIME configurations correctly? Someone please help understand that. With my limited understanding of the ADF I prefer having an expert comment and clarify this point.

    Thank you

  • Deploy the ADF application to manage the server - political migration jazn

    Hi Experts,

I created a sample application web ADF and activated the ADF security. I created the ear of the application using the deployment jdevloper profile. Incase if I deploy the ear to weblogic through the weblogic console management server, the application works very well. (in this step security policies are automatically deployed in the field. However, incase if I deploy only for Server Manager, then the application does not work. in this case, when I invoke the url the browser runs all the time and refreshing but not the loaded page. If I check the policies then the they aren't there.

I have to manually migrate the jazn policies before you deploy on the Management Server? Is there a way that can be done automatically when deploy us the ear on the server of management through the weblogic console.

    Thank you

    Hello

for the development of business applications I suggest Oracle Enterprise manager, as shown here: http://download.oracle.com/otn_hosted_doc/jdeveloper/11gdemos/adf_security1/adf_security1.html

  • Deploy the ADF - BC on different JVM (not a cluster) and update the same row

    Hi experts,

I have a question for the locking of ADF BC. Suppose I have a web application that you want to add using add-British Colombia. And the web service interface is enabled for ADF - BC. In this case, what happens if I try to deploy as follows

Deploy the web application ADF with add - bc on a JAVA virtual machine and the other JVM deploy only the Add-bc with active web service. In this case how the locking of the database will work. Incase if I change the line in the ADF, faces and then try to update the same line using the web service in the another JVM. Framework will lift the ADF line locked by an other user error? Or the locking works only if both are on the same virtual machine JAVA or deployment in the cluster?

    Thank you

It depends on how you define your lock mode to work in British Colombia of ADF - but assuming you are using optimistic locking - it will be work well since the ADF BC lock will check whether the data in the DB has changed and then throws an exception in letting you know on the subject.

  • Deploy the ADF library JAR independent of the Application

    Hello

    JDeveloper release: 11.1.1.1.0
    WebLogic Server Version: 10.3.1.0

I use a number of ADF library JAR files in my application and want to deploy the final application WAR without the need of these jars in there. I want to have the option of deploying an ADF library JAR file if this is the only change to the application. This is very similar to the requirements for this How to deploy an application that uses "ADF library Jar" - 11 G UPDATE2.

However, I can't figure out how to make it work. I can remove the ADF in pots since the WAR file by filtering in the profile of the WAR deployment and then deploy the ADF pots independently on the WebLogic Server. But when I access the application, it seems that it does not find these pots.

Can anyone provide assistance on how to do this?

    Thank you
    Brad

While I was testing I found the below steps to work for me... But the problem is THAT WLS does not re - deploy a library where there is an active application to use... And none has proposed this approach so I tend to think deploying as an EAR.

1 - to do this, you can deploy the jar files as library via the WLS console or command line and you must update the file application.xml - weblogic in the project that you are deploying war/ear

      .

        taskFlow1

        myLib1

        myLib2

2 - If you want to use aliases instead of the names of files to libraries, you can add a line to the file 'manifest '. MF.
To add this add a file to your project. Meta-Inf folder might be a good candidate to locate this file.
Edit the newly added file and add these lines.

    Extension name: myLibrary
    Specification-Version: 2.0
    Implementation-Version: 9.0.0

  • Tutorial on the use of the ADF to develop Web Application

    People,

Hello. I have implemented PeopleSoft Campus Solution 9.0 revision 5 for a University.

I need to develop an application for Admission online for future student to apply for admission.

My installations of PeopleSoft are below:

Server machine: Oracle Linux 5.10 (64-bit)

Client computer: Windows XP Professional (64 edition) with the Internet Explorer browser

Architecture Internet Oracle Linux 5.10 Server:

    (1) database server: Oracle Database 11 g version 11.1.0.6.0 is

    (2) the server application: Tuxedo 11 g

    (3) web Server: Web Logic 10.3.6.0 and JDK 1.7.0_09

    (4) browser: Firefox Mozila

    (5) two Instances of huge database on the database server: 8.53 PeopleTools and Campus Solution 9.0.

I just installed the 3 parties with WebLogic 10.3.6 and JDK 1.7.0_09 as below:

    (1) install ADR (Application Development Runtime) 11.1.1.6.0 (64-bit)

    (2) install the RCU 11.1.1.6.0 to create the scheme of OWSM_MDS (32 bit)

    (3) create a new WebLogic "Domain_CS" domain to develop the application for admission online.

I have no experience to develop the Web Application using ADF. I have developed a few Web Applications using NetBean and database server. It seems that the ADF and NetBean have some similarities. Both need to create a project with a 'Web - INF' file for Web Application development. But I don't know the first step to start the ADF to call the wizard.

    My question is:

What command and what directory to start ADF and call the wizard in order to develop the Web Application?

    Thanks in advance.

You don't need to install JDev WLS directory.

What you end up doing, is take the application (EAR/WAR file) you create in JDeveloper and deploy in the WebLogic.

JDeveloper will be in a separate Directory.

  • Taskflow-ADF are not displayed in the library of the ADF

    Hi all

    I use Jdev 11.1.6

I have deployed my project (contains model and View Controller) such as ADF library Jar. then I created the new connection file added this pot. It does not project taskflows show. Even as a sample project, I created and deployed as ADF library jar. added this pot on connection files. It shows the workflow. why it shows no taskflows for the first project. You can help me pls.

    Thank you

    Hello

Check if you have followed these steps:

    • In the ADF wondering where you have the task of flow select View Controller project and go to the deployment project properties tab
    • Then create an ADF library JAR file
    • Generate the jar
    • Go to your first application, select the view controller project and go to the libraries tab
    • Select the pot that you have previously built
    • Refresh your project, you can even close your JDev.
    • From the components tab, you will find your library
