The backup location has changed in iTunes 12.5?

I've already mapped ~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup on a network share on my NAS from my MacBook has enough free space to store all the backups of my mobile device. This worked fine until I upgraded to iTunes 12.5.1 yesterday, now the backups seem to run OK until they arrive just before finishing, claiming there is not enough free space on the target device. It's weird, because there is about 5 TB of free on my NAS. At this point, there is a new folder inside backup with today's date, and the devices of iTunes preferences page displays a new entry for the unknown, dated 01/01/2001 00:00.

So, what has changed with the latest version of iTunes? The audit of the application of the host operating system is free space instead of the backup location? Seems a bit silly...

Have exactly the same problem.  Once I removed the symlink to my folder of nas backup completed without error.  I copied my share of nas backup and recreated the symlink and then itunes was able to read correctly.  Still not able to complete the backup in the folder of sin, however.

    Dear Experts,

I'm working on the following environment,

Operating system: Windows server 2012 R2

    Oracle version: 11.2.0.1.0 release

Type of RMAN backup: Cumulative (preferred by the direction and I can't change it in differential backup)

    My current situation,

I set up RMAN and H: drive for purposes of backup and G: for Archivelog.

Recently, my city was covered by the flood waters and the server works not for a week so that we delete obsolete level 0 does not work.

Currently there is not enough space to run a level 1 and level 0, while I should change the backup location.

    My Question is,

    (1) I need to change this location of drive H: to G: drive backup backup correctly without error not enough space.

    (2) after having taken a level 1 and level 0, depending on my 1 redundancy, RMAN mechanism should delete obsolete backup disk without failure G: and H:.

Kindly help me how to get to my need. This will help me, thanks in advance

    You can

    1. replace the DB_RECOVERY_FILE_DEST G:

    2 run backups

    3. wait for the DELETE OBSOLETE delete obsolete backups of H:

    and then

    4. change the DB_RECOVERY_FILE_DEST return h as it was more early

In this way, you don't have to use the FORMAT or CHANNEL of CONFIGURE commands (I was referring to CONFIGURE CHANNEL, not ALLOCATE CHANNEL) to change the destination of the backup

I hope that someone can help you.  All of a sudden, I get an error message odd when I import into lightroom 4.  "File could not be copied to the backup location.  I can click OK and continue to work as usual. You have the option checked to create a backup copy of the images imported in the import dialog window? If you verify that your username has write permissions to the folded selected as a backup location.

Or just uncheck that option and test.

As Chetna asked, you export original?  Yes, you are. It is asking to export a copy of your original file, that is, of course, not changed. So, Yes, you won't see any of your changes. That's why you can not apply a watermark. Adding a watermark in the image he'd a file not original.

  • After that Ms last update the task manager has changed

After that the last MS updated, the task manager has changed. I used for the right click at the bottom of the screen, select Task Manager & get 3 or 4? options to select.

Those I used gave me a chart of the use of Internet + speed info; now, I only get the list of processes, no option & the only way out is to TAP (DO NOT TOUCH!) the ESC key.

Is this another feature of MS or make me a form of bribery? JV

Sorry, but I don't really know what the problem is here. In any case, try to roll back OS to an earlier time using System Restore tool. Choose the time prior to installation of update from Ms. Everything should be as it was before.

  • The screen resolution has changed.

After that I have updated to the latest version of Muse, my screen is enlarged. It looks like the screen resolution has changed. How can I change the resolution of the screen on Muse?

On Windows, 2014.3 Muse now supports 100%, 150% or 200% resolution, according to the scale factor you set in Control Panel. My guess is that you have your control panel set at about 125 per cent and Muse chose the scale factor supported 'closer', which is 150%. We've heard a few users that they would prefer Muse to continue functioning at 100% in this case.

This sounds like the situation you're in?

Now, you need to set the scale factor to your screen to 100% having muse running at 100%, but we are working on a solution in the short term to say the Muse to operate at 100% without changing your scale factor of Panel controls.

  • ITunes media folder location has changed, but it keeps resetting to the default location

    Hello

I changed my iTunes media folder location. My internal drive has two drives (was originally a Fusion player, after a system crash, I had to clean it and install Mac OS from scratch and is no longer read as a reader of fusion, but I agree with it), so one of the discs that I use for the OS itself and the other to store the data. I've changed most of my files application for the storage disk storage. When I change the location of folder of media to iTunes, after reboot, it restores the original file to ~/Music/iTunes/iTunes Media.

    Why does that happen?

If this info can help, I do not have the bluetooth icon in the menu bar, so I removed it by opening bluetooth preferences and unchecked 'see the bluetooth in the menu bar. He disappears. When I restart, it seems once again, it is not happened to Yosemite.

    Thanks in advance.

iTunes will revert to the default locations, if the configured drive is not present when iTunes opens. This happens if the drive is not mounted or asleep...

  • Windows 7 backup and restore shows no internal hard disk and the backup location option

Windows 7 backup and restore is only the possibility to go back to D drive which is a burner DVD C and F is both internal and external hard drives C is the system drive and F is a newly formatted 1 TB drive free. I access F in Explorer windows without any problems and I would use it for backup.

    Hi dairy Tech 2000,

Welcome to the Microsoft answers site.

Drive/C: would not be shown to the backup files since this is the system drive. You cannot save files to C:/drive to C:/drive.

However, when you change the backup settings to another drive on the computer, follow the steps below:
    1. click on start.
    2. backup and restore type of search.
    3. click on change settings.
    4. This will show the drives internal i.e. your F: drive / on the computer.
Now you can set the location of drive F:.

  • Snapshot location has changed - still no work

    Hello

Yesterday, I tried to create a snapshot for a machine that has the disc:

    -Disk 1 = > 190 GB on a local storage (block size of ~ 815 GB / 1 MB)

    -Disk 2 = > 2 TB on a storage iSCSI (block size of 2 to/8 MB)

Due to the size of the "disk 2" I couldn't do a snapshot in the default location, which is the directory of the virtual machine on the "disk 1". Get the message "the file is larger than the maximum size supported by the data store".

So, after searching a little I found the article to change the location of the snapshot. Search store snapshots on a third drive:

    -Disc 3 = > 4 to on iSCSI storage (4 TB (2 x 2 to/8 MB block size) ~3.6 to are free)

Add these two lines at the end of the vmx file:

    workingDir = "" / vmfs/volumes/Disk_3/VM-Snapshots ' "

    Disk_1 /machineXY Sched.swap.dir="/vmfs/volumes/.

The virtual machine removed from the inventory and readded, but I still get the same error message when you try to create a snapshot.

When you change the settings of the machine, I see that the "VM workplace" is set to the new location. The configuration file is still on the repertoire of the virtual machine on 'Disc 1'.

The Machine runs VMware ESXi 4.0.0 build 236512.

Any ideas why it still doesn't work?

    Thank you

    URS

Ahhh... OK, so if I understand correctly, the second disc should be (at least) 16 GB smaller to make snapshots to work?

    Fix.

Even if the place to store catches instant itself is larger than 2 TB, because a single vmdk cannot 2 TB and more, right?

Yes. The snapshot file contains additional data for management. In this way a "full" snapshot file can be a few GB of more big than the basic disk and the maximum size of a file is always 2 TB-512Bytes.

Store the file on disk 3 makes no difference.

It is simply designed as a test, if the above does not apply.

  • Problem with the backup location Photo

I just started using LR 4 for the first time.  On my first import, that I chose newly imported backup photos automatically on a device of spare hard drive on my Mac that I hadn't previously used.  After I finished with LR, I closed out of the app.  So I decided (Yes, it seemed a good idea at the time) to rename the hard drive, I decided to use for backups of my photo for "Photo Backup Drive.  However, when I then open LR, the ability to record automatic backups is grayed out.

The option still listed the former name of the hard drive, so I went back in and renamed that animate its original name.  Back in LR, the option was nevertheless still grayed out.  You can see the name of path (initially selected before I renamed the reader), but the check box is not available and you cannot change the option.  It seems that the program was not able to recognize the change of name of path and then just locked up.  Does anyone know a way to reset this option from one location other than the normal selection point?

Note, this is the place for my photos of automatic backup, not the rear location for my catalog (which is always the default file location 'Photos' and works very well).

OK, problem solved.  It was not at all a problem of LR.  I didn't realize that when first go you back in the window "import" the Central selection automatically default the option "add" (to import a photo without moving or copying this).  Therefore, if you choose "Copy" or "copy as DNG' rather than 'Add', the possibility to choose a location for an automatic backup becomes non-greyed and the tick becomes available.  You can then use the selector drop-down list of re - choose the location of your backup files (and it recognizes the current name of everything that you hard drives, even if you changed just one of them).  You can then delete any old path names.

It was just a coincidence that she appeared to grey out after that I changed the name of the drive.

Thanks to everyone who watched it and started trying to find an answer.
