  Regarding the comment, 'you will never have '12' (12) in your string', if you stay far enough 1s and 2s in the chain, you'll have. See the second example below.

  It may be useful if you are going to... Tools / Options / Compatibility tab...
  and uncheck all filters.

  Also... it might be a compatibility problem with your source files...
  (videos / photos / music files)

  Several formats are apparently compatible with

  Photos - bmp
  Video - wmv or dv - avi

  Install the MacOS 10.10.1 update to fix the crash bugs generalized in the open and save dialog boxes.

  And make sure you have the plugin WhiteWindowWorkaround installed in CS6 (no not necessary in 2014 CC) to work around some of the well-known MacOS issues.
