  You can read places.sqlite without specialized software that understands the format.

  If you want to create shortcuts .url on disk in the style of favorites of IE, the best thing would be to have in reality IE creates them for you by import of your Firefox bookmarks. There is actually a support article on this: export Internet Explorer Favorites.

  Press the Windows key + R, type netplwiz command run, click OK. In the user accounts window, you should be able to see all the user accounts on your system.

A reboot of the xp PC is not resolved, but a restart of the server main window file 7 pc solves it for a while. Help!

• I restored a few messages deleted from the Recycle Bin, but they do not appear in the original folder.

  I accidentally put the retention policy of 30 days for the wrong file, including over 1000 deleted messages. I found the messages in the trash and returned in the original folder, but all do they not appear.   If anyone is interested, I was able to restore the missing files by editing the X-Mozilla-Status codes in the file in the folder. Bit 0 x 0008 flags every message deleted. I was able to do a search/replace global for each code containing this bit in Notepad to get Thunderbird for re - index deleted messages. Of course, you'll want to do this on a copy of the affected file and keep a backup while you make the changes, just in case. Oh and do not compact your messages until you make sure that it worked.

  I wanted to create a title page and take a policy which I had downloaded beforehand (I downloaded about 20 of them) but none of them appear in my library of fonts.

  At the end of 'Create reference CVD Demo'... there a CVM hang out in "Image Composer / reference CVDs.»

  At the beginning of 'Creating the basic sex Demo' that CVD has magically moved to "inventory / all cardiovascular disease."

  I have that in my world.

  I * see my MCV in 'Référence CVDs'... but see NOTHING in "All cardiovascular disease."

  I closed and reopened the console (trying to regenerate it)... but it does not move.

  I confirmed that the transfer is complete (100%) in the monitoring task.

  In short... what I'm * NOT * do... I can convert a CVD reference to and CVD "real"?

  You must remove the reference inventory CVD. It will show upward as a device on hold. Then, you can centralize this device as a 'normal' CVD, no reference CVD.

• Sync folder - shows new images, but they are not

  Lately I have had a few records that I could make a virtual copy or add metadata - when I right click to synchronize the folder, the shortcut menu shows that it is 30 new photos to import. When I click the sync button, the screen goes through the import phase and then a dialog box comes up saying no. Photos or videos found.

  No harm seems to come from this, but it is kind of annoying, and I still wonder and worry that I might be screwing something up?

  I checked and in a first time was surprised by the differences... but on further examination, it seems that they are the same except that finder has all the files, .xmp... then Yes, they are the same numbers in all cases, I checked.

  The text at the top left States the number of images in LR film now showing in a given folder (or collection) vs. the total number. It's maybe less, due to the stacking, or due to a display filter.

  OTOH, the total number of images LR can be easily larger than the number of presents, if some of these images in LR are virtual copies of image files.

  In addition to XMP sidecar files number of files Finder can also reflect sidecar JPG files, if you shot Raw + JPG. Unless you chose to see these independently within LR, they won't have the count of LR. Also other programs use their own, named differently, metadata sidecar files. County of LR may of course include images in subfolders, or not.

  The actual file content matching, with what we see within LR, so is quite problematic and indirect. Is IMO better to think the concept of file in LR, as a report database that was executed. No, 'what is in this folder"- but that, ' what are the pictures of this catalogue currently claim to be associated with this folder." This is how LR can always keep such a number, even though the record and the affected files are offline / missing.

  I set up a 'user' for my son and use parental controls.  I want to him to have access to Word for Mac, and it appears in the list of applications I can check to allow use for.  However, when we opened a session under his username, these applications do not seem to be anywhere.  When you configure new users, applications such as Word for Mac or the available Pages on users?  I can't find any information to help in this regard.  I don't know if I'm missing something under user put up, or parental controls, or both.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  These requests should be made available, provided you installed then in the folder/applications, not in a private folder ~/Applications for a specific user.

• I have a XP and suddenly the cd player does not work. I put disks in it, but they do not appear in media players. On my computer, it shows that the drive is there.

  Thank you for your message.  It could be that your player has gone wrong, you have another computer that you could test with?  Otherwise, you could check the Device Manager to see if it could be a driver problem (steps below).  Click HERE , and then run the FixIt!
  Click 'Start' > right click on 'My computer' > select 'manage '.
  Click on Device Manager.
  Do you see a yellow! next to your CD/DVD drive?  If so, you may need to go to your computer manufacturer's website and download the latest driver/firmware.  Is it permits?  If this is not the case, turn it on and test.

• I can see my keywords in JPEGs, but they do not appear in the keywords column which is accessed by the software "rename the lot."

  I use the "Key words" function on my camera to mark my photos. Then, I upload these files on my computer. When you view the list of files using the "details" view, I can then right-click on the name of the file and click Properties > summary that allowed me to see the keywords I used while taking my pictures. So far so good. However, while I CAN get the keywords column to display in the Details view, the column is always empty. I'm looking to be able to use a program 'batch rename' to rename my pix based on these words. I don't want to spend the dough, however, until I know are available and used in the way I need the info (which really made the trip from camera to the computer). Help please.
