The 'brightness' happened in Camera RAW
One of the changes that occurred since CS6 and 11 items is the brightness slider disappeared. Covers - something else that adaptation?
for example after setting 'white' and 'black', I sometimes adjusted the brightness to shift exposure right without overexposing the brightest pixels.
Is it still possible in the 2012 version?

What is the latest version of Camera RAW for PS CS5?
I just updated my stand alone version of LR6 with the update of January 2016. Now when I export an image to edit in PS CS5 it tells me that this version of Ligtroom requires Photoshop Camera Raw plugin version 9.4. It's confusing me. If I've updated to Lightroom should not Camera Raw update as well and the version (I guess than 9.4) would be available for PS CS5?
When I open LR and look for updates, he said this is far as said Bridge. It Photoshop version 12.1 x 64 so how can I find the latest versions of Camera Raw for LR and PS compatible and install them on programs?
Thank you!

It's more complicated than that.
- Lightroom does not use the Camera Raw separate used by Photoshop plugin. Lightroom has the Camera Raw engine built into its code base. When you update to Lightroom, all Raw updates are included in Lightroom.
- Compatibility of camera Raw plugin varies according to the version of Photoshop
Camera Raw plugin and Adobe application compatibility - CS5 is only compatible with Camera Raw up to version 6.7.
- CS6 is only compatible with Camera Raw up to version 9.1.1.
- Only Cloud versions are compatible with current versions of Camera Raw.
- To use Raw files in CS5 which require new versions of Camera Raw 6.7, to open the import dialog in Lightroom and "Copy as DNG". Open the DNG in CS5.

I get an error when I try to open my photos in photoshop cs5. the file seems to be a model of camera that is not supported by the installed version on camera raw, he said. Please see the documentation of camera raw for more information.
What should I do?
Generally help > updates can do for you and it is important to get all the updates for CS5 in.
If it fails, update Adobe Application Manager and let me know how it goes.
You can find the update here: other downloads

where can I download the latest version of Camera Raw for use with y Canon 7 d Mark II camera?
Can someone point me in the direction of a download to get the latest version of Camera Raw? I have version 8 which open the raw files from my main computer but it won't allow me to open the same images on my laptop for some reason any.
Normally, you go to help > updates in Photoshop CS6 and above for Adobe Camera Raw 9.0 which covers your model
If your laptop has CS5 or less, you must the DNG Converter. Min OS for Windows 7/8 and OSX 10.7 and above.
I would like to know if this is the case.
If the update fails, go here: install plug in Camera Raw

An off-topic question... Lightroom has the same settings in Camera Raw in Photoshop/bridge?
As far as I know, the equivalent versions (for example 8 ACR and LR 5 or 9 ACR and LR 6) of Camera Raw and Lightroom have exactly the same features, although the controls are slightly different.

The preview jpg in Camera RAW filter after update to Photoshop
I just updated my cc of Photoshop and now when I open the jpg in the Camera RAW filter. I get a blue box with a big X.
I found a miracle solution: disable the graphic processor for Camera Raw.
Open Adobe Bridge (install it if not present)
Go to the menu 'Edit', 'Camera Raw préférences'
Disable 'Use the graphics processor' under 'Performance '.

I downloaded the latest version of camera raw for LR. I LR4 and cannot import pictures from my new Nikon D750. Download said it was successful, but I still can't import photos.
Lightroom does not use plug in Camera Raw. So download the latest Camera Raw did nothing at all for you. The only way to update or upgrade Lightroom is to get the latest version. If you have Lightroom 4 then the latest version of Lightroom, you have no additional cost is Lightroom 4.4.1. If the device you are using requires something newer that what is supported and that the version of Lightroom, then an upgrade to Lightroom 5.

I have Photoshop CS5.1 (bought in 2011). The photoshop Camera Raw plugin is not recognize the format of my new Nikon D610. I've updated the version of my Camera Raw plugin and still get this message when you try to open pictures in photoshop. Help, please.
This link shows that 8.3 ACR supports the Nikon D610 and 6.7.1 was the final version for CS5.
Camera Raw plugin | Supported devices
If you can switch to CS6 and ACR 8.7.1
or using the DNG converter, convert your Nikon raw files to DNG to open in CS5.
Here is the download link: Adobe - Adobe Camera Raw and DNG Converter: for Macintosh: Adobe DNG Converter 8.7.1
or Windows: Adobe - Adobe Camera Raw and DNG Converter: for Windows: Adobe DNG Converter 8.7.1
And here's a great video tutorial on how to use the converter.

Also this operating system you have, XP, Vista, or something more recent?
