• Help with button over the button (OnHover questions)

  I have a sat button A button B.  B button navigates to another point on timeline onmouseOut. A re acts as the B button onhover when hung on even though its only function is to go to a Web site when you click the button.  How to not to do so.  (it has something to do with the key a session over the B button that acts as a navigation panel.

  To illustrate, I have a circle (a ring) nagiavtion menu which is hover button B animtes, which actually look like the commuter ring to the Viewer.  When they mouse over button B he then times the next section of the scenario that seems to do the menu tilt back to normal.  So currently it is supposed to work like this:

  They hover over button B that comes alive to sign 10.  On board 10 the tilted wheel now has buttons of towing.  one to read a video and the other to go to the site for the link they flew over.

  When a person is placed on one of the buttons the tilting animation replays and retitls the wheels before the link becomes active to click which makes navigation uptight or bugged.  IWant the animation to play the 10 Panel and stay here, then they choose a button to click and only tilt back to normal when the user mouseout/mouseouthandler() the big underlying under button.

  Legitly evolves from the development of the object from one display to the other. Flash is required to send the MOUSE_OUT event as soon as your mouse cursor enters a new object because it is more on the previous object. This does not mean that you however he can only prevent.

When I chose the button to return to the main menu loop point he returned at the beginning of the main menu not the loop point. The only way I could get the SUP menu button to return to the point of loop in the main menu has been to add an attribute to the button in the main menu and make the menu.   This is a bug with the preview only. The final disk will work as you wish and will return to the point on the line of the main menu instead of the beginning.

• Make blu - ray discs with the content of the standard dvd in Encore CS5

  Given that blu - ray 25 gb discs have become affordable, I would like to take advantage of the increased capacity of the content of the standard DVD on them.

  In a Word, I would put about 8 hours of flow 8000 720 X 480 video on a disc blu - ray 25 GB with no transcoding.  If I said that my project is a DVD I can tell it to "do not transcode" my property, but as soon as I change the option on Blu - ray, I have a wide range of Hi Def only options or automatic transcoding.  This is much more than 25 GB of the file size.  I can do this in TMP GENÇ TMPGEnc works, I can specify each track or not to transcode, and what bitrate etc. and then burn a blu - ray disc-compatible with the standard def content-but my menu options are more limited than in the still and the work process is slower.   I'd rather that in again if possible.  Is there a way to do that in Encore CS5?

  all my videos that I coded for this and the last project had a black frame around them. for some reason any capture has not quite completely filled the entire box. not a BIG deal, but in the video effect > motion > scale I changed them all to 103 to 105, and I think that this IS why with my workflow wanted to transcode. so I just jumped the man in the middle and in first, like mpeg to preserve all the stops of chapter and chapter names.

• Captivate 7 - hide / disable the button 'next' until the question is answered

  We try to make mandatory to answer a question before moving on to the next slide.

  Ideally, we want to hide / remove the following navigation button until the answer to the question.

  Any help would be appreciated

  P.S. I have check the Adobe forums and he suggested to put the next button under the clear key - that works... but not if you go to the slide - you can then go forward

  You found my suggestion to the next button, which is designed as a "Skip" button during Quiz, under the Clear button, which also has the advantage that it can be a confusion between the transmission and the next button indeed and it was certainly also mentioned that it is supposed to not allow movement back and hide the playback bar in this case.

  The buttons on question slides cannot be controlled as the other buttons. They are integrated into the question slide. If you want total control, you must create question slides personalized (lots of work).

  Another approach with the default question slides is to check the required "Answer All" option in Quiz preferences, settings. Or you can use submit all, allowing movement to the rear and a warning appears if all the questions are answered, but you alow to present even in this case.

  And you could try, if you feel uncomfortable with stocks advanced, to create a conditional action on enter for each slide, which displays a form button that will be back next movement button...

• AS3 stops working if the button text is changed

  I have a text button work perfectly positioned within a clip and called from the main time line.

  So I decided to add a color changing effect on the up state of the button. Originally, button had a static text for the Up, Dow, on, periods of success. As soon as I changed the text in an mc, I get an error code:

  TypeError: Error #1009: cannot access a property or method of a null object reference.

  This is line 4 of 30 frame:

  "HowTo_jtv4u_link_btn" is the button in question. It worked fine until I changed the State noted in a MC.

  What is the appropriate steps to change a button in this way?

  Obviously, something you do by adding a movieclip is breaking the button somehow... but what something is is not clear.  What you could try to do... instead of using a SimpleButton control, create the button as a movieclip.

  Looking at the code you showed above, you seem to try to tell the button go to frames specific... you don't do that when you use a symbol of SimpleButton... they do so on their own without the need of any coding on your part.  The code you showed would be easier to apply to a movieclip used as a button.  Maybe it is involved with the error you get... try to treat the button as a movieclip.

  I have a request to customize the appearance of slides of button quiz (not the text, the look of Windows 3.1). I don't see that it mentioned anywhere, except curiously recent announcement as CP5 apparently allows it.

  Captivate 4 allows you to edit the buttons on Question slides. You can choose the images. Simply create images for how you want the buttons find and use those?

• Resolution of the assets of Encore CS5

  Recently I posted a question asking if it was possible to have a calendar in Encore CS5 which had files MPEG-2 Blu - ray, who were not all the same resolution. Recently, I burned my first Blu - ray disc, where everything has been 1920 x 1080 and 23.976 fps. However, now, I'm working on a disk where the material is mixed - I have a file which is 1920 x 1080 to 23.976 fps, while the rest is 1280 x 720 to 29.97 FPS.

  One of the answers is that different timelines in still can have parameters of different resolution for SD and HD.

  So, I created a new project for this mixture of 1920 x 1080 and 1280 x 720 material in yet. Project settings are NTSC, MPEG-2, 1920 x 1080, 23.976 fps, no. fields / Progressive. Now that I imported my material of 1280 x 720, still wants him for transcode. Is it a good idea to let the material still transcode or the quality is bad?

  In the future, if I have plans with mixed resolutions and or frame rates, is best just to do everything the same? By example, with this project, should I reduce the 1920 x 1080 / 23.976 1280 x 720 29.97 sequence? Or, is it better to up-res material 1280 x 720 to 1920 x 1080?

  Or, do the need for equal frame rates - should I take everything 29.97 and convert it to 23.976?

  Or is it ok just to make even transcode?

  I'll do a little experiment myself too.

  Hello again

  Recently, I asked a question and was happy to receive an answer as fast, but it was my first time using the Apple community support discussion format. After reading the suggested solution, in my attempt to answer, I hit the button solved by mistake, but the suggestion I received did not solve my problem - but I appreciated the suggestion. When I realized that it seems that my problem has been resolved, but wasn't really, there is no way to undo that so I'll ask my question again.

  I get a message saying my iOS crashed by third party and need to call the phone number to set. I'm stuck on this page, and no matter what I do, message keeps flashing. I tried dragging up close and also off screen iPad but that did not help... I was raised immediately to the same message. I used the browser Google Chrome safari not unfortunately. I read the threads on the other people who have had the problem though, they were using the safari browser. There seems to be a way to fix if you are using safari, but I couldn't find any resolution of the problem when using Chrome. I understand from reading the discussions that this message is a scam and I know not not to dial the phone number.

  I would be very grateful and thankful if someone could help me solve this problem!

  BP budget approval, after that I click on New, can I add a button to the tab the line items so that when I click on this button, it reads all codes of cost in the cost journal and auto fill on the grid?

  You can create a new 'model' BP for this purpose. Line item type. Then add a line manually with a cost on each code. Then you can use the copy in your BP BA record consolidate the function to copy the line items to the new folder of BP (including all cost codes) into your folder of BA. That is to set up a model record once with all cost codes and then copy consolidate billing it to all lines new record of BA. would this work?

  We have an image used as a button that is hidden. All our slides have a button "Next" that must be pressed to continue to the next slide. However, when a user clicks on the image button that triggers somehow advance to the next slide.  We have already reviewed the timeline, actions for the next button and image buttons, but we cannot see what may be the cause. Any idea what's going on?

  Is it possible to set actions on the button "submit" a Quiz question? I want to advance to the next slide or continue when they get the question right, or come at the end of the tent, they are allowed. I would like to eliminate the Next continue/button.   Not possible, or you you screw up the functionality of the quiz slide. Submit button is the most important object of each slide of the default questionnaire.

  I suspect that you are not on 9 Captivate but on an earlier version? Perhaps reading this article:

  You don't need the next to all button if you do not allow the review. If you allow the review, you cannot uncheck, because otherwise the user will be pasted on slides during the review. You can drag the next button under the light of the button (see article). The Send button will trigger actions Success/Last attempt, that you can use to your advantage.

The first thing, I want to restrict users to select only one option from the list to delete; meaning don't allow multiple options for users to remember. Before removing the selected option in the list; I want to perform a Javascript/AJAX validation on the database to check if the user has permissions to remove the option from the list. If the user has privileges simple delete option selected in the list. If the user does not have privileges and then draw the attention of the user with a message "not authorized...!  and this should occur when the user selects the option in the list to the list manager, and then click Remove from the list manager.

  Remove list manager of the shutter release button of the function 'deleteListElement ($x ('P3_LM_USES'))' on the onclick event. P3_LM_USES is my element of list manager in a form.

  I use the version of Oracle APEX 4.0.2 and Oracle 11 g R2 database.

• Modification of the functionality of the buttons questions slides

  Is it possible to change the features of default buttons in question as the MCQ, DND slide? When I open the content slides masters I don't see action attached to these buttons.

  Have about 20 articles on creating question slides, using objects, interactions, widgets, advanced/shared of actions and variables. So the answer is Yes. To reuse you could create a template with these slides with built-in placeholders. If you use only SWF output you can create question widgets.

  And there is no source code for the Send button.

  Themes can be created (you're so new to Captivate?): it's styles object, master slides, editor of the skin. If you want a sensitive topic to start with one of the available themes and do the editing of a sensitive project.
