  e. when I open a file in "My pictures", I get a picture icon, not the image and then have to go to 'open with' to see the photo in the image viewer. If I try the film option, I see "generating Preview ' but nothing happens.

  f. and finally, when I get to the "my network places" and then click on "computers from the network view", the window hangs. Other computers on the network will appear in "My Network Places" but now only show as an icon is empty, is not an active link.

  I believe that the general consensus is to remove all the seller WIA drivers, reboot, then reinstall them using the manufacturer.  It could be that you ended up with an incompatible mix of drivers, perhaps due to an update.

  Both could be "collision" in that they are both trying to access the mail server at the same time.  Make sure that they do not check too often.  Try to disable a device when checking with each other and see if that makes a difference.  Also with WinMail, if you have a POP3 account, make sure that under Tools | Accounts | Mail | Properties | Advanced that you have configured to leave a copy of messages on the server, so the phone can bring too, that normally it will delete messages on the server when it downloads.

  You should always explain how you get these results from data provided.  For example "I want to show the number of lines where each column (T1 to T4) has changed from one line to the other, you place your order by entry_date.  The combination (id, entry_date) is unique, and no column can be NULL.  The q1 through Q4 columns can be NULL; change null to any value (or a null value) is considered to be a change.  If a column not ID never change for a given (e.g., column q2 for id = 1 in this example of data) then I don't want to see (id, field) combination at all.  If no columns for a change of id (for example, id = 2) then I don't want to present this card at all. »
