The Camera Raw editing is not enabled
I use CS6 on a pc and have for years. From time to time trying to open a file in Camera Raw, I get this message:
"The Camera Raw editing is not enabled. Camera Raw edition requires a product calling it launched at least once to activate this function. »
I tried to open a scan of a CD. I tried to open it in Camera Raw to both the icon and the menu drop down and got the same message twice. PS was already open. Then I opened the file in Photoshop and saved on my hard drive. Then I tried to open the disk hard version backed up, and the same error message came. When I try to open a file that was edited in Camera Raw before, CR works fine, but with any file that has not been open before in CR, I get this message. Very frustrating. I will continue to work on that, but in the meantime, does anyone have a practical work around? I've always been able to work around this problem in the past, but I don't remember how I did it. Thank you.
That one is easy. Go Task Manager and you will see a process for the bridge. Double click on it and click on stop or end the process. This happens when you have the bridge in the status bar Windows system to Windows startup.

Get the message that says: the Camera Raw editing is not enabled
When you try to open a jpg file in Camera Raw, I get a message that says that I must first launch a product calling. Formerly (CS4), I had no problem opening a jpg file in Camera Raw, but now on the cloud using 6 CS it seems to be a problem. Otherwise, anyone having this problem or knows how to solve? Thank you.
I suggest just open Photoshop, go to file > open and select a camera raw file to force Camera Raw (ACR) to open on this computer. Once this has been done with success, try to open the JPEG in the cab to the bridge.

When I try to open a picture from the camera raw bridge it appears subsequently me "camera raw editing is not enabled" "camera raw edition requires that a product has been released at least once to activate this function, may l.
The Parent to Camera Raw/bridge software is Photoshop because the camera raw plugin is installed on your system with Adobe Photoshop.
Please open Photoshop and edit an image in camera raw by going into the filters and then open the bridge of file > Browse in Bridge and check if the option to edit your images in camera raw directly.
Also make sure that your camera raw plugin is the latest version see: Installer of plug in Camera Raw

When I choose from camera raw in bridge, I get a Camera Raw editing is not available!
Hello
When I choose the camera raw with the circular icon in the upper right of the CS6 bridge plan I get WARNING saying ' Camera Raw editing is not enabled. Camerea Raw editing requires that a product calling it launched at least once to activate this function. "I tried to launch bridge in every other Adobe product, uninstall all the trial versions of my computer and reinstall all cloud to adobe products, but still this warning appears and I can not open jpeg and cultivate images with Camera Raw as I did with CC5. Help please!
I see that this question has been posted in the forum of bridge here http://forums.adobe.com/message/4790707#4790707.

Restore file NAVE of origin after the camera Raw edits
I'm new. I made changes to the NEf files in ACR in the ' basic' Panel I see the little icon in the bridge, which indicates that changes have been made to the NEF file. How to return to the original NEF file after I left programs, Bridge, Photoshop, etc.? I use PS CS 5.
Bridge: Change, development settings and clear the settings. If you save the changes in the .xmp sidecar files, you can also just delete the file. ACR does not actually change the raw file, saves the changes in either a centralized sidecar or database files.

is there any solution for this?
Hello
ACR is enabled if you launched Br through its parent product (i.e. Photoshop or Suite)
Make sure that the trial to qualify the product has not expired.
If view you thumbnails of raw files, but cannot access ACR edit or Preferences dialog box, please send the following logs to [email protected].
To win:
% temp % amt3.log
For Mac:
/tmp/

To clarify:
I selected several images in bridge (DNG) and choose open in camera raw, so I can edit mass. An error saying, "Camera Raw editing is not enabled. What should I do?
Camera Raw edition requires a product calling it launched at least once to activate this feature.
It is important, as have seen posts about this in past, but not on this issue, but opening bridge. Might want to google this error.
The only answer that I can remember, is that some work by opening the bridge to another product (you have a sequel?) as the Psalm then bridge would work as usual. Could try to open the PS ACR and see what happens.
Another thought - go to start/pref/edit scripts and make sure you have at least one audit on Bridge and PhotoShop.
Let us know if solve you it.

Hello
I recently downloaded the update to Camera RAW 5.6 to 8 items, but even after follow the instructions carefully and verfigying that the card has been added that I can not open a RAW file in photoshop. I don't know what the problem is and am hoping that someone with more experience in this area can help.
Help?
Thank you
Cara
Yes, we haven't started supporting the D3100 to the 6.3 version of the camera raw plugin (Source: Camera Raw plugin |) Compatible cameras). This version of the camera raw plugin does not work with Photoshop Elements 8 (Source: applications camera Raw compatible Adobe). To ensure the native support of the D3100, you need Photoshop Elements 9 or later version (10 is the current version). The other option is to convert your raw NEF files to DNG (a universal raw format) using the DNG Converter: Mac| Windows.

When I click on open in RAW, this message keeps coming up. CAMERA RAW IS NOT ENABLED. Camera Raw edition requires a product calling it launched at least once to activate this feature. Help, please. What is c?
I don't really think it will work, but I have a vague memory of something like this caused by different versions of a file in Bridge and Photoshop. If you want to try it go in the bridge folder and find a file named Amtlib.dll and rename the original Amtlib.dll. Now, go to your Photoshop folder and find the file with the same name and copy it in the folder of the bridge. Now, try to see if your image will now open in Raw. If this does not work, go to the folder of the bridge, remove the Amtlib.dll and restore the original to its former name.

Ideas to explain why, when you work with raw files in LR 2015 with Edit in PS 2015 and use the Camera Raw filter, the profile in the Lens Correction Panel tab is missing? Mac OS X 10.10.5. I reinstalled the OS and Lightroom and PS, nothing helps.
Hi ParadigmRose,
This is expected as profile tab behavior does not appear under Lens Correction Panel if you go to Camera Raw Filter in Photoshop
However, profile tab would be there if you open a raw image directly in camera raw first.
You can go to the filter menu > Lens correction in Photoshop, if you want to search for profiles with edit in Photoshop.
Kind regards

Hello
I just upgraded from a Canon 1000 d with a Canon 6 d, during shooting in raw and try to open it with photoshop, it says the camera raw is not compatible and it uses a different format, even if both devices have the CR2 file, I never had problems with my 1000 d. I have photoshop CS5 and have tried to update, but it still does not work. Someone knows how to fix this? I'm a photography student and my deadline is in 2 weeks, so I really need to get to this sorting asap! Advice or tips would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
It uses a different format, even if both devices have the CR2 file
CR2 is not a fixed file format. It varies with each camera model that make cannon. It is the same for all the camera manufacturers.
New camera, new file Raw, same Raw file extension format model (CR2 = Canon, NAVE = Nikon, etc.).
Devices supported by Adobe Camera Raw
Camera Raw plugin and Adobe application compatibility
The 1000 d is supported in Camera Raw 5.1 and later - compatible with CS4 and later. CS5 can open these Raw files.
The 6 d is supported in Camera Raw 7.3 and later - compatible with CS6 and later. CS5 cannot open these Raw files.
RAW support is never added retroactively to older versions of the Adobe software you will never be able to open files 6 d Raw in CS5.
Options:
- Join the Cloud (Plan of photography) and get Photoshop CC 2015 + Lightroom CC 2015 for $10 / month (as long as your computer can run)
- Download the free Adobe DNG converter, convert all the 6 d to DNG Raw files, then change the DNG files in CS5. An extra step for you, but no extra costs.

I have Photoshop CS5.1 (bought in 2011). The photoshop Camera Raw plugin is not recognize the format of my new Nikon D610. I've updated the version of my Camera Raw plugin and still get this message when you try to open pictures in photoshop. Help, please.
This link shows that 8.3 ACR supports the Nikon D610 and 6.7.1 was the final version for CS5.
Camera Raw plugin | Supported devices
If you can switch to CS6 and ACR 8.7.1
or using the DNG converter, convert your Nikon raw files to DNG to open in CS5.
Here is the download link: Adobe - Adobe Camera Raw and DNG Converter: for Macintosh: Adobe DNG Converter 8.7.1
or Windows: Adobe - Adobe Camera Raw and DNG Converter: for Windows: Adobe DNG Converter 8.7.1
And here's a great video tutorial on how to use the converter.
