I tried again to access my ATV, but received the message - can't see Apple TV, you must be on the same WIFI that your Apple TV. The Apple TV is connected by Ethernet. my phone using a WIFI router (repeater) downstairs and my cable router is upstair. Even go to the floor and connecting with the Wifi on the floor and running down on the quad it still cannot find my iPhone device, connect blue tooth to the ATV.  The bluetooth is enabled on my phone.

    will I give up and return this?  It doesn't work the way I want it. iTunes is available in my iPad connected by cable to the TV. I don't have a device to $200 to do the same thing. I really want to play things of the SIN which is the primary boost.

    I doubt that you see a network drive in the Apple TV settings, however you can use this type of material with 3rd party software like Plex (one of a few)

    Regarding the Remote application, if the router does not fill the networks wifi and ethernet, the application does not detect the Apple TV, it's nothing to do with bluetooth. Repeaters show not work very well with the Apple TV, try to expand your Ethernet network.

    I don't know if this is the problem, but it is something that must be correct establish a secure connection:
