• Several Airport Apple ID devices disappear shared devices and Software Configuration of the airport

  We have three Airport extreme and two Airport Express devices in two offices in the city.  Some time in the last two days, they all stopped appearing in the sidebar of Finder 'Shared' category (if they had attached disk storage) and they stopped from appearing in the Configuration software of the airport on any of the Mac on these networks. (They always seem to be correct, routing traffic, however).

  For a while, we left a desktop completely alone as a control group and did all our testing and troubleshooting in the other office.

  We-hard reset (to the factory configuration) all devices from the airport to an office. They began to appear again. Then we started to re - configure them again.  At the time wherever we had updated the devices they had disappeared again.

  So, another factory discount based configutations for each device to this facility. Then we added slowly in pieces of their configuration.  When airports have received Apple ID and associated passwords for associating with iCloud/BackToMyMac/WideAreaBonjour (depending on what you want to call it), the airport devices disappeared from the airport Setup.

  If we tried to configure another device from the airport to extend a network of 'invisible' airports, the new airports were "unable to find" one of these networks to expand.

  If we reset all devices without providing them with Apple ID and passwords, they worked mainly as you would expect. The main difference being now do not appear as having been recorded as BackToMyMac/WideAreaBonjour devices.

  One side for people dealing with this note: If your router are invisible, but they are configured to be configured from the EXTENSIVE worldwide network, you can use "File-> configure the other" and specify the address WAN of the missing aircraft and get this screen access as one would generally. From here, remove all the Apple ID associated with these devices, press "Refresh" to save the settings and they seem to reappear magically in the Configuration of the airport software.

  In that State, storage seems to be available, but only for devices in Domain Local (direct connection). Airports without AppleIDs will not appear in the field to iCloud/BackToMyMac/WideAreaBonjour, and it's as expected, given that these IDS is the means for the identification of their field.

  Did you approach the problem exactly as I did in the past, and having encountered problems of the CCMM literally every version of OS X. They were all distinct problems with individual characteristics, and in some cases the solutions exist. Having said that the CCMM has been completely reliable recently - which means running the most recent El Capitan release on all my Macs. The initial versions (i.e. OS X 10.11 to 10.11.3 maybe) didn't work at all. I don't know which version fixed whatever the problem was, I am sure he has not worked for someone else.

  The same real place with Yosemite and previous versions as well. CCMM did not reliable until the exit "point three or four."

  Because the MacBook Pro with the DVD has not been updated since 2012, there is no 2015 version of this model. I think Apple has this MBP autour, for those who really need an optical drive on the road. Otherwise the MacBook Air or rMBP is a better computer (and the 2015 MacBook Air is faster than the MBP of base)

  I have my Apple Watch 2 configuration with the Nike Run Club app.  Repeatedly, I tried to run without my iPhone (6 current execution 10.0.2) and for some reason that GPS doesn't seem to work. While I open a session is running, pace/time is completely off and it isn't GPS data capture because cards do not appear in the app once I connect and send the run. Also, I assume that the GPS does not work because the pace is so far off the coast. It seems to me that it is logging tracks using the accelerometer, which has not yet been resolved as I want to be able to connect the tracks using GPS.  I need help. Has anyone else had the same help as he attempted to use this app? I bought the watch to replace an old Strip, Nike +, in the hope that I could run without the phone, but it has been an uphill battle implemented.  The Nike Run Club app not yet been updated in order to make full use of GPS data from the Apple Watch?

• How to configure automation with Apple TV, Homekit and Hue

  I have what I believe should be a viable home automation installation: a new brand (4th generation, Sept. 16) Apple TV, a hub of hue with the support of Homekit and seven lights attached via the hub.  The lights appear in the home iPad app and can be enabled or disabled here.  I can also do things with Siri on the Apple TV as "turn one room family", and have the appropriate lights.  Thus, it seems that everything works.

  BUT: when I go to the tab "Automation" in the app iPad Home, all I get is a page telling me that I should get an Apple TV to put in place of the automated activities - there is no way to actually DO something.  Am I missing something obvious?  I do this also?  Don't forget that I can control the lights in the House on the iPad, so they certainly know each other...  Thank you!

  I'm very disappointed on the Apple Support, my Apple ID has been compromised, and 2 devices Apple cannot use for almost 3 months. The best I can recommend is possibly ask for a Manager in the store do not settle the first genius you get.  If there is documentation in the service record of apples, you can have a better chance. • Configuration of the Airport Extreme problem and Vigor 120

  Hi all

  This is the case, I have vigor installation 120 in Bridge mode with my airport extreme with settings pppoe settings of my ISP of vpi/vci: 8/35 pppoe/llc adsl2 + login and password, when the force as a router configuration, there worked perfectly, but in Bridge mode has managed to establish a PPPoE to pc but when the connection with the airport no luck I got an invalid ip address and orange light flashing.

  I have the latest in airport and vigor firmware and I'm doing a powecycle reboot after each change.

  It's sad to say THAT PPPOE on the Apple is not reliable.

  I have the same problem... I can't use routers Apple with PPPOE on my modem in bridge... regardless of the brand.

  PPPOE is a bunch of variations... PAP or CHAP for example... and the number of... repeated attempts time between repetitions.

  Apple offers zero... whether it's no control... they are all available right now to find out what newspapers or.

  I had to simply replace the Apple router with another router... any other router seems to work fine... It's just the Apple that failed on me...

  I tried with several different Apple routers using all the old firmware, at latest... all fail. So I guess it's less coherent.

• Cannot print with HP6840 since I added the password to the Apple AirPort Extreme network

  I recently added to my Mac Airport Extreme network WPA password protection. While I can access the network from my computer, I can't print a HP6840, one of my two wireless printers, even if there is no problems prior to the addition of password.

  I can always print to my old HP LaserJet 6MP using an AppleTalk-Ethernet bridge and managed to reconfigure my second wireless printer to work with the new password.

  I already tried the following:

  Uninstalled/reinstalled the original CD and more recent software/drivers HP printer

  Tried to printer configuration using the Ethernet - half thanks looking for printer, received an error message "Communication error with a printer" and the installation process has failed.

  Checked: Safari bookmarks / Hello: printer does not appear

  Computer and the printer turned off and restarted the computer

  None of these attempts succeeded.

  Any suggestions on how to restore my wireless printing?

  Mac OS 10.5.7 iMac with Intel processor

  I spent 3 hours on the phone this morning with the HP Technical Support. While the call cost me $35, it's probably money well spent. After trying all kinds of approaches to installation, we finally concluded that the villain was probably the combination of personal WPA2 to authenticate password on my network and the inability of the HP6840 printer (now almost 5 years) to support WPA2. Tech said that WPA2 wasn't around 5 years.

  So I have two options: delete the password completely and let my unprotected network, use a WEP password (which can create an Apple AirPort and the printer can recognize) or try a WPA password. However, it seems that the airport offer only WPA-Personal and WPA Enterprise, while the printer does not seem to accept the WPA.

  Even if I don't really relish change passwords again, it seems that WEP is the way to go.

  Hope this helps those trying to install old printers on the new networks.

  You can configure the FitBit application use co-processor movement of the phone to record the action. He won't be as accurate a door device wrist and you will need to keep the phone with you all the time, but it is an option.
