The cluster application deployment problem

Hi all

I am trying to deploy a portal application single (with a single jsp page) in a cluster.
I created a cluster(name: ClusterOne) with two managed servers: MS1 and MS2 on the same machine.

I tried to deploy the application only on MS1 via the administration console. In deployment, after I do install > save changes* ear is in prepared State. I select the ear and clicked on service requests all to have the ear in the Active State. I get this error and the ear goes to the new State.

* weblogic.management.DeploymentException: [Deployer: 149003] cannot access source application «C:\bea\user_projects\domains\MyClusterDomain\MS1\TestEAR\TestEAR.ear' application «TestEAR» information The specific error is: [Deployer: 149003] there is no application file to ' C:\bea\user_projects\domains\MyClusterDomain\MS1\TestEAR\TestEAR.ear'...*

and the error on the console is

+ < June 18 2010 12:22:48 PM PDT > < error > < HTTP Session > < BEA-100083 > < webapp:TestEARAdmin in the application: TestEAR has PersistenceStoreType value: replicated_if_cluste +.

This error indicates clearly that the TestEAR has PersistenceStoreType value: replicated_if_clustered but if I look in the weblogic.xml PersistenceStoreType is set to the memory , but not replicated_if_clustered.

No idea hence his pick up replicated_if_clustered even if PersistenceStoreType is not set to memory in weblogic.xml.

Application works fine when it is deployed to the server administrator or on all servers managed in the cluster.

no idea?

Thank you
Win

Hi victory
1. If I'm not mistaken, any Application of Portal can be targeted ONLY to the entire Cluster, NOT managed individual servers. It is also quite true for 8.x and 9.x and 10.x. For the quick test, Undeploying and remove your custom console weblogic portal application. Then choose Insall, select your EAR and do the deployment. In the last screen when you select the target, select the ENTIRE CLUSTER. Do NOT select NO the AdminServer, because by default, any domain cluster portal will have all the Modules Framework portal deployed only in the cluster. If you cannot deploy your portalApp to admin. If you really want to admin server also, so you need to target all the modules of Portal Server admin also. See the file config.xml for targets of the modules and you can get an idea. In any case, coming back, target your application portal to the complete Cluster and see. This should deploy without any problem as cluster_if_replicated etc. etc. Because, by default, all these parameters have a default value. I have deployed a lot of portalApps to the clusters with no additional parameters. So, I am confident, it should work.

Now, if you really want to deploy your portalApp only in MS1. Create then the 2 groups. CLUSTER1-> MS1 and Cluster2-> MS2. Then, you can deploy your portalApp on Cluster1. Note that a domain can have multiple Clusters and a Cluster can have multiple managed servers.

Thank you

    It is, I tried another example of project and that was very good. When I looked back to the original sample (cascades recipe book) I built wrong.  This example seems to contain several different projects, and once I chose the right pair, my debug Simulator was there.

    Maybe you are including pots bad for a Swing client, or a pot is missing.
    And: 84 is far too IMHO.

    We include in our Swing client (most of the people is actually the MDS dependencies):

    JMX (4)
    =============
    BC4J - mbeans.jar
    javax. Management.j2ee_1.0.jar
    jmxframework.jar
    jmxspi.jar

    ADF (21)
    =============
    ADF-share - ca.jar
    ADF-share - support.jar
    adflogginghandler.jar
    ADFM.jar
    cache.jar
    Commons-cli - 1.0.jar
    common - el.jar
    DB - ca.jar
    DMS.jar
    Groovy-all - 1.6.3.jar
    javatools - nodeps.jar
    javax.transaction.jar
    jdev - cm.jar
    JPS - api .jar
    JSP - el - api .jar
    mdsrt.jar
    OJDL.jar
    ojmisc.jar
    Oracle - el.jar
    ResourceBundle.jar
    share.jar

    SWING (3)
    =============
    ADF-share - base.jar
    DVT - jclient.jar
    DVT - utils.jar

    JDBC (3)
    =============
    ojdbc6.jar
    orai18n - collation.jar
    orai18n.jar

    XML (3)
    =============
    XML.jar
    xmlef.jar
    xmlparserv2.jar

    In this version, we also turned off MDS. In 11.1.1.5.0, turn off MDS is no longer an option, it seems (SR result is pending), then you should also include javax.jsp.jar and javax.servlet.jar.

    Powering down of MDS:

    System.setProperty ("oracle.adfm.usemds", "false");
    System.setProperty ("oracle.jbo.usemds", "false");

    I don't know how reasonable is the list above. We built a list of pots from the bottom up, meaning: we tried to start the client, waited for the ClassNotFoundException, found the container class and he added and so on. She works for us in 11.1.1.3.0.

    The stack trace that you see in 11.1.1.3.0 is caused by a lack of class. ADFConfig tries to create an instance of the class 'oracle.adf.share.config.ADFContextMDSConfigHelperImpl' but fails, probably because the class is not in the classpath. The method of creation of the program of assistance and then returns the value zero, leading to the NPE in getMDSSessionAsObject().
    The exception is logged in the ADFLogger level FINE, so you should be able to see the cause, if you change the logging level.

    Required system: have all types of Consolidation as a holding company, Equity, proportion, no consolidation method. After you set all these methods in the 'Consolidation method' the problem is resolved.

  • Changes on request not visible when it is deployed in the weblogic application server

    Hi all

    I have an ADF faces application that runs on a weblogic server.
    Application works fine, but I added a few features on some pages.

    I tested it with Jdeveloper and the build in weblogic server, that works very well.
    Now, I have deployed my application (trough the menu application-> deploy) to the weblogic server.

    When I open the application now, I don't see the changes I made!
    In the menu that I did run Build-> Make and Build-> rebuild but this did not help.

    What is causing this behavior?

    Thank you is advanced.

    Try first cancel the deployment of the server application, and then deploy it again.
    Then, you clear the browsers cache...

  • MapListener is not survive after the cluster service is restarted

    According to this article, MapListener will survive restart of the service, however, is not what we have seen in our environment.

    Re: Link MapListener on restarting the Service

    We use 3.3.1/389.

    We have an application running as disabled storage node which acts also as a MapListener on a cache.
    This application performs certain actions when entry inserted/updated to day occur.

    However, we have observed that when there is network problem, the cluster service will be shutdown. And
    This application will not join the cluster after that the network problem go away. Here is what we
    light at the end of the journal.

    We recalled the previous discussion on the forum that consistency will not restart the cluster service until
    One needs. Fine, so we add a monitor who will call routely CacheFactory.ensureCluster () each
    minute since the original application only will using cluster service when it receives events from MapListener.

    Well, after we put in this thread to monitor. We saw the cluster service restart and this request will be

    is not after the cluster service is restarted. Here is the log after that we put in the monitor to call ensureCluster().

    According to this article, this problem could be solved using MemberLister.

    Listener for events of cache recovery

    If we implement the MemberLister, and we get MemberLeft event when the cluster service has obtained the judgment.
    However, we receive no MoreRejoignez event at all when this application join the cluster.

    The MemberListener has been added to the CacheService belong to the cache, we added the MapListener. It seems
    the MemberListener don't survive that restart CacheService in this case, so no cases of MoreRejoignez received.

    Now the question arises. What can we do to ensure that MapListener can survive restarting the cluster service
    in our case? Or is there a way for us to detect that the MapListener is not valid more so one reattach necessary?

    Kind regards

    Chen

    Hi Chen,

    In the thread of your monitor, instead of CacheFactory.ensureCluster () you can call cache.size () (on a cache that you added another to.)

  • Problem with db/server connection in a cluster on the WebLogic application server configuration

    Hi all,

    Maybe someone here has already encountered this problem. I want to deploy and run my application on a cluster (with 2 servers) on WebLogic configuration. All data sources appear to be configured correctly, the application is deployed correctly and that it works correctly, except when a sql query is taken to a specific java class (DataGridService) that handles the results grid search.

    It displays the following error:

    MDatagrid: query: select * xxxxxx WHERE (xxxx) {'success': false, 'id': messageType '',' ': "ERROR", "messageFunction": "Sql Error", 'messageDescription' ': 'java.lang.ClassCastException: weblogic.jdbc.rmi.SerialConnection_weblogic_jdbc_rmi_internal_ConnectionImpl_weblogic_jdbc_wrapper_JTAConnection_weblogic_jdbc_wrapper_XAConnection_oracle_jdbc_driver_LogicalConnection_1211_WLStub cannot be cast to oracle.jdbc.OracleConnection',' iconMessage":"Ext.MessageBox.ERROR","buttonMessage":"Ext.MessageBox.OK","msgTitle":"System Error!"}

    As I said, all sources of data in the console of wl appear to be correctly configured with the option "Not packaged data items of Type" not selected. All other connection db work correctly but there is a problem only with this particular class and with the cluster configuration, in fact it works correctly on a stitching configuration. In this case, the same problem occurs if 'Objects of Type data not packaged' is selected.

    Maybe there is a problem with a certain configuration of wl. Can someone help us?

    We have just solved the problem: in the properties file, wls.context parameter, we forgot to insert the ip for all servers in the cluster

    for example, cluster with 2 servers

    bad: wls.context=t3://ip-address:7001 (this is the only server admin)

    correct: wls.context=t3://ip address: 7001,ip address: 7002,ip address: 7003 (admin server, Server1 Server2)

  • Deploying the application to the stand-alone WebLogic problem

    Hello!
    I have a problem with the stand-alone WebLogic Server applications.
    We migrated to JDeveloper 11.1.1.5 to 11.1.2.1. I followed the instructions on this page: https://blogs.oracle.com/imc/entry/standalone_weblogic_domain_for_adf to deploy our application of ADF on AdminServer. Everything worked OK.

    Then I followed the instructions on this page: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E21043_01/web.1111/e13813/custom_jrf.htm to apply with our "ADF_server" the server JRF managed and got this:
    WLS: / offline > applyJRF ('ADF_server', ' / Oracle/Middleware/user_projects/domains/our_domain ')
    Read the/Oracle/Middleware/user_projects/domains/our_domain area of applyJRF
    Copy the configuration files JRF/Oracle/Middleware/oracle_common/modules/Oracle/Middleware/user_projects/domains/our_domain/config/fmwconfig/servers/ADF_server
    Components JRF target to "ADF_server".
    Update changes JRF to/Oracle/Middleware/user_projects/domains/our_domain field in offline mode
    It's probably OK?

    When I try to deploy a problem occurs on a managed server 'ADF_server':
    * [10: 55:08] Weblogic Server Exception: weblogic.application.ModuleException: could not load the webapp: "ADFMainApplication-ViewController-context-root."

    * [10: 55:08] see the server logs or the console of the server for more details.*
    * [10: 55:08] weblogic.application.ModuleException: failed to load the webapp: "ADFMainApplication-ViewController-context-root."

    * [10: 55:08] - incomplete deployment. *
    * [10: 55:08] remote deployment failed (oracle.jdevimpl.deploy.common.Jsr88RemoteDeployer). *

    What should I do to run the managed server? Help, please.
    Best regards, Marko

    You did to be sure that the 11.1.1.5.0 adf runtime has been installed on the managed server before installing Upgrade patches to 11.1.2.1.0?

    If this isn't the case, it is the problem. The new runtime environment is installed automatically if the olny one has been set up correctly, my personal conclusion from my tests. If you want to learn more about this check http://tompeez.wordpress.com/2011/06/25/upgrading-wls-10-3-5-with-adf-runtime-11-1-2-0-0-sherman-patch/ and http://tompeez.wordpress.com/2011/06/29/follow-up-upgrading-wls-10-3-5-with-adf-runtime-11-1-2-0-0-sherman-patch/.

    You can make the threethings:
    1. Open Enterprise Manager, select your managed server and hope you see a message like "JRF aply to this managed server" (don't remember the exact wording). To do this, and libraries must configure OK.
    2. open the administration console and select the necessary shared libraries and add your manages the target server. Problem is that you don't know what libs are needed. If you don't mind target libraries to the managed server. Not sure if this causes problems later.
    3 write information on the managed server as port, domain names machine name. Remove the server managed the installation of WLS. It must be very sad that you upgrade and which should be no application or shared library of your one deployed on the managed server. After removal of the old successful server closes wls and start it again (just for security). Now, create a new managed server with all names, ports, and other information like the old using the quick start tool.

    I prefer the 3 method, this one worked for me all the time.

  • Problem via the loader of web application deployment

    I can't load my application to a device that uses the charger of the web.  I have implemented the example hello world application and that works, but when I try to change the references to my project it hangs on loading screen, or says "error downloading file. Check your Internet connection and try again. "I tried to load my app via Blackberry Desktop Manager by using the files thus .alx file but it says"there was an error importing files.  None of the additional applications are... "I can debug on the device with Eclipse and the app is loaded correctly.  Anyone have any ideas?

    Some possible questions:

    -Your COD file is an aggregate - that is, she has several embedded in COD. and rename the extension ZIP, unpack and deploy individual COD files.

    -You have a mismatch between the level of the compiler version and the BONES of the device target.

  • Doubts about Weblogic Cluster and application deployment

    Hi all

    WebLogic...: 12.1.2

    ... OS: AIX 7.1

    We intend to create a Weblogic cluster at 2 knots in different sites to comply with the requirements of the customer HA. With this in mind im a few doubts began to rise:

    (1) this solution will have a server in site A Weblogic and an another Weblogic Server on site B, and we will create a Weblogic cluster with these 2 servers. It is equivalent to an Oracle extended RAC, but with Weblogic. Our link between sites is extremely fast, dedicated, with a latency of less than 5 ms. Is it possible and cost-effective to build such a solution?

    (2) regarding the deployment of the application, I would like to know if it is possible to deploy an application on Weblogic Server just on node A, and this application is automatically replicated on the Weblogic Server in site B? As far as I know, I have to deploy the application on both Weblogic servers manually.

    Thanks for the patience and attention.

    Yes: is very easy to configure the (much easier than configuring PAP) weblogic server cluster.

    You can deploy your application on weblogic cluster: his will be automatically deployed to all members of the cluster (all managed servers)

    Pointers would be really useful.

    Finally, the issue is resovled. I followed the steps in the Doc ID 1354918.1

    1. backup config/fmwconfig/oam-config.xml*, cwallet.sso

    2. connect to wlst shell in online mode and run the following to clean of the CSF:

    deleteCred (map = "OAM_STORE", key = "jks")

    deleteCred (map = "OAM_SYSTEM_CONFIG", key = "jks")

    deleteCred (map = "OAM_CONFIG", key = "jks")

    deleteCred (map = "OSTS_CONFIG", key = "jks")

    deleteCred (map = "sts", key = "stskeystorepassword")

    deleteCred (card = "m", key = "osts_signing_template")

    deleteCred (card = "m", key = "osts_encryption_template")

    OR connect to the console of EM. Click right field---> safety---> credentials.

    and deleted all the files OAM_STORE, OAM_SYSTEM_CONFIG, OAM_CONFIG, OSTS_CONFIG, m

    3 bring down the field (Admin and managed servers)

    4. Remove .oamkeystore

    5. start the domain (Admin and managed servers)

    As soon as this oam_server1 is coming with all the deployed application and also in oamconsole server instances indicates oam_server1, while earlier he showed as AMSERVER1

    I still don't know what is the cause of this problem but for now its working. Might be a bug in this version 11.1.1.7.0

  • Cannot deploy the sample applications of the MAF

    I try to install some of the sample applications on the MAF ( jdev_install/jdeveloper/jdev/extensions/oracle.maf/Samples Directory) on my Android (version 4.4.2) phone without success.

    I use jDev build JDEVADF_12.1.3.0.0_GENERIC_140521.1008.S

    If I have a deployment on an Android package using default deployment profiles, I get the following error:

    "Impossible to deploy the profile because the project 'ViewController.jpr' is not a MAF ApplicationController or ViewController project. (oracle.adfmf.framework.dt.deploy.features.deployers.FeatureArchiveDeployer).

    I searched this error in this forum and found this:

    MAF: Build Error "adfmf - not found feature.xml.

    Then I updated the patch of the MAF, and I still get the same error.

    I then fiddled around a bit dependencies of properties/deployment/Android1/Application Profile

    Now I can deploy on my phone, but the application hangs on the splash screen.  Can anyone advise on what things should be checked in the profile dependencies?

    OK, I finally understood what is the question.

    After installing the patch of the MAF, jDev so ask to restart your computer, but for some reason any on my computer this can last from a few minutes to a few days!  The first time that I installed the patch, after a reboot, through the Assistant jDev update request I clicked on OK and jDev stop and waited so he could restart. 5 minutes later, it started so I thought I'd launch myself, so I did.  But what I didn't know that in my list of system processes, jDev was still working (perhaps even install the patch).  Here's a screenshot of my system process (that I took during my third attempt, since I suspect something):

    Thus, while this process jDev was hanging out, I started jDev myself and ended up having two jDev processes running.  One that I started manually didn't have the MAF Patch applied, but I thought he did it because I just went through the Update Wizard.

    And so all the trouble, I have tried to deploy the sample applications of the MAF.

    I didn't knew that this much later because a few days later, a splash jDev screen suddenly arisen WHILE I was USING jDev, I knew was because the first time, install the patch jDev prompted to restart the computer.

    Only on the third time reinstall jDev and the patch of the MAF has waited more jDev to restart, and when he finally did restart on its own (3 minutes later) that I checked my installation of the fix for the MAF and found that it was installing successfully.

    I then tried to deploy the sample applications of the MAF again and this time it worked.

    So, in summary, because he took if jDev long reboot after installation of the patch of the CRG, I advanced and started jDev myself, but this instance of jDev, I started upward has not installed the fix of the MAF, and so the trouble I had to deploy the samples of the MAF.

    I hope that something can be improved here so that other users the same tracks as I do not work in the same problems in the future.  It can be as simple as a message before reboot in saying the user to wait jDev restart on its own, otherwise their patch will not install.

    Thanks for your time.
